Pro-life Republican leaders in the House held their own hearing Tuesday to make the case for a bill that would protect babies who survive abortions, after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi denied them the use of a regular committee hearing room.
“Over the course of 2019, radical legislators, and we’ve heard it all the way from New York to Illinois to Virginia, had moved to strip protections for babies who survive abortions,” Rep. Ann Wagner, R-Mo., said during the unusual meeting.
“I am shocked that [there] are even American politicians who want to deny babies lifesaving medical care,” Wagner said. “As a mother, as a grandmother, a legislator, and an advocate, I am grieved to find that we must defend something that I never thought Americans would have to fight for: lifesaving care for babies that are born alive.” . . .

Dr. Kathi Aultman, a former abortion doctor who is an associate scholar at the pro-life Charlotte Lozier Institute, recalled witnessing firsthand an example of the need for legislation to protect babies born alive after an abortion.
“A woman who came to me for complications after her induction abortion at 20-plus weeks told me that when the appropriate time came she was told to sit on the toilet and push,” Aultman said.
“She delivered a completely normal baby boy into the toilet, where he drowned. Babies can even survive dismemberment abortions or if the cervix is overdilated.”
Jill Stanek, a registered nurse who is national campaign chairwoman for the pro-life Susan B. Anthony List, testified that she spent the last moments with a baby who was born alive after an abortion and left to die:
One night a nursing co-worker was taking a little abortion survivor to the soiled utility room to die. When she told me what she was doing, I couldn’t bear the thought of this suffering child dying alone. He’d been aborted because he had Down syndrome and he was between 21 and 22 weeks old, about the size of my hand. And he didn’t move very much because he was using all of his energy attempting to breathe.
And I remember toward the end of his life I couldn’t tell if he was alive or not unless I held him up against the light to see if I could see his heart beating through his chest wall, because your skin is so thin at that age.
And after he was pronounced dead, I folded his little arms across his chest. I tied them together with a little string, I wrapped him in a shroud, and I took him to the morgue where we took all of our dead patients.
Stanek said such experiences during her nursing career illustrate the need for the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act.
Rep. Roger Marshall, R-Kan., who is a physician, said his own experience in the medical field has made the need to protect babies born alive after an abortion all the more important.
“I had a moment or two to myself as I walked over here and I was contemplating today’s hearing, and I got to reflect on my career a little bit as an obstetrician [and] my wife as a neonatal intensive care nurse,” Marshall said.
“A big part of my training was how to deal with complications of pregnancy–cord prolapse, placental abruption … and extreme prematurity. And I walk into this hearing [where] we talked about infanticide, and that’s a term … to say this is the murder of newborn babies. OK, let’s make that clear.”

Dear God,
I pray for these little innocent ones who are losing their lives for the sake of “convenience.” God, lease forgive our country; thanks to abortion, we are killing off future doctors, pastors, evangelists, the list goes on and on. Please God, forgive us, and please open the eyes of those who have become so hard hearted that they do not see abortion for what it really is – not health care, but MURDER! Your Word says “Thou shalt not kill.” God, please help the U.S. Please!

Father, open the eyes and hearts of those who have become so deceived and hardened to the truth. Thank You, Father, for my 4 adopted grandchildren & that their mothers cared enough to put them up for adoption. Father, we need Your mercy and wisdom on how to fight this battle. Show us the way. I suppose the doctors, nurses, and desperate patients, are so deceived and desensitized to the value of life, that they equate living with breathing. If the infant is not breathing oxygen, then they must not be a human beings and deserve to be thrown into the trash or toilet. Their tiny lungs are filled with the ambilocal fluid from their mothers uterus until it is drained or suctioned out so the oxygen can enter into the lungs where the breathing begins. As a former USMC combat veteran of the Vietnam war who lived and fought in an area along the DMZ border that was nicknamed the “Meat Grinder”, I can understand how hard and callused these medical practitioners become through the constant taking of human life, even more so of the most helpless of God’s humanity. Hitler’s Germany pales to the crimes America is guilty of at the taxpayers expense, and all in the name of “choice”. “America’s holocausts” has murdered 10+ times the amount of Germany. ONLY God’s son Jesus Christ can stop America’s slide downward, and it’s appears by many “poll’s” that Christianity has lost it’s influence and witness as “Born Again” believers. Many of the “butchers” we speak of claim to be Christians, and that just divides God’s Word to an personal opinion. If I’m saved, and cannot lose my salvation, I can do anything I like including (abortion) without eternal consequences. REALLY ? We will find out for sure at the end of our life, and we’d better be sure (now) we’re in the Household of Faith of Jesus Christ. We don’t want to hear Him say…I do not know you, depart from Me you worker of iniquity.
Only salvation through Jesus Christ will cause the abortion to stop. These abortions are carried out by “good” citizens, doctors, nurses, etc. and they will continue until these so called good people become saved people. Our job is to pray and go out and carry the message of God’s “Good News” of Jesus Christ to these earthly good people, so they can become godly people through Jesus our LORD = (our property owner.)
Let everyone who professes the name of Jesus Christ depart from iniquity. Amen
Understanding we are at the End of the End Times… God will probably NOT stop the murderous abortions in our nation, or the nations around the world that we pressure to be like us. America is spreading her fornications = (immoral and sexual sins) around the world, just like Babylon the Great does in Rev.17-18.
Neither will He stop the sexual diseases that are plaguing over 50%+ of our citizens through unbridled sexual perversion along with our greed, violence, gambling, drug addiction (including alcohol), lgbtq+,suicides, and the rest of our problems of a backslidden society – away from God. He (will) soon judge America just like He did to Sodom, Gomorrah, Tyre, Rome, and Babylon, or He will have to apologize to all of them. I don’t think He’s going to apologize to any of those wicked nations for their deliberate and outlandish debauchery.
Christians should be fasting and grieving for our uncivil society as we are running out of time, where God will use (as He’s done in the past) other nations to attack and destroy us in one day, and in one hour…possibly nuclear.) Remember that God will show mercy to those who seek His mercy for ourselves, and our loved-ones.(1 John 5:16)
Let us do as (1 John 3:3)says, “and they who have this hope in them (of His return to catch His children away) purifies themselves, even as He is Pure.” God is calling His children to come out of Babylon’s ungodly and devilish system, and draw close to our Father / God, and continue watching for His return. MARANATHA = our LORD = (property owner) comes !
I thought the medical community was supposed to protect life. I understood they took an oath of office. What a lie they lead in life. Letting these aborted babies die without help is insane. Making a decision to have an abortion is insane. The medical community can’t hide this atrocity any longer. Let us pray and agree that these barbaric practices of abortion procedures of any kind will cease dead in their tracks. Amen! It is for the babies of the universe we stand!!! We speak life!!!
I pray for mercy on our nation for sacrificing our children on the altar of selfishness and Abortion. Lord I declare Roe v Wade will be overthrown and turn the enemy against itself…. you will cause the Abortion of Planned Parenthood itself.
In the 70’s after the birth of my son, the Lord put on my heart to donate my breast milk to sick and premature infants. I witnessed first hand in the neonatal unit the infants who were nurtured and given medical treatment who were born prematurely. No one referred to them as fetuses and the parents were there loving them to health. One baby that survived receiving donations of breast milk weighed only 1 pound. This child survived. When you can dispose of the innocent while defending the guilty which the Democratic Party seeks to do. You have to ask yourself, how did we move so far from God that we can experiment on innocent human life for profit and then dispose of them. We are so focused on our economy, but where there is knowledge of God and His laws and we rebel, I believe No future economy exists. Let us pray for the women of this nation to turn back to God, receive His salvation and again make it their priority to protect their wombs from sexual immorality and become chase for the sake of the future lives of their children. The least represented by our government, today, are our children. It will be through prayer that this evil stronghold is demolished.
Lord we ask in Jesus Name to move upon all hearts that have the power to do so, to protect the innocent. And for the women of this nation to turn back Roe Vs. Wade by not making abortion a demand. Please pray for a revival that will move on the hearts of men and women across this nation to grieve for the lost of our innocent and come to repentance and receive the salvation that only comes through Christ.

Father bless the leadership in the churches where Your Name is lifted up to begin teaching again the holiness of true womanhood and true manhood. we are murdering our own society. the people who would love You are not alive and getting ready to run for office. They are not present to take up positions as generals or colonels in the military. our pool of doctors and lawyers is much smaller. Esther wrote a new decree that over rode the one that Haman made. we need our court to write a decree that totally obliterates Roe v Wade. We thank you for turning hearts so that this decree can be brought forth and the decision that was Roe will be abolished. in Jesus Name, amen.

Dear Lord, thank you for your unfathomable mercy. Please bring us to true repentance as a nation.
Lord have mercy on and forgive a country that would murder babies. Let the law pass that would outlaw this practice. Let your spirit of compassion come upon every Congress person who will vote on this. I ask this in the powerful, wonderful name of Jesus
