I Prayed have prayed
Father, do not let us live in fear. Help us to make no provision for the enemy to attack and give our nation wisdom and discernment. Let us, as the body of Christ, be more united now than ever before.

Editor’s Note: In response to a recently posted article about bibles being burned by the BLM movement, one of our intercessors wrote in about a church in Portland who will be holding an all-day worship and outreach event on the ground where violent Antifa groups have been rioting. The worshippers will be gathering “to bring a loud voice of praise & worship to Portland to battle the forces of evil there.”

A “Let Us Worship” gathering is planned for Saturday, August 8th in Portland, Oregon, where violent Antifa rioters have hijacked protests for months now. The plan is to assemble in Waterfront Park in Portland at 6 pm, to worship and invite the Holy Spirit to change the atmosphere there.

In addition, Christian activist Sean Feucht has invited Governor Gavin Newsom of California to pray and worship with them on the steps of the California State Capitol. (Image: via GOD TV)

Sean Feucht has been making news for his stand against the state’s ban on church singing and worship. The government has implemented the ban as a “preventive measure” against COVID-19. However, the worship leader sees the ban as a double standard.

Are you encouraged by worship leaders’ courageous plans to hold public worship at strategic sites? How can you bring strategic and public worship outbreaks to your community? Share with your friends!

During the rallies of “Black Lives Matter”, many people have gone into the streets to protest for social change. Additionally, officials have allowed the march to go on for weeks. But this is not the case with churches. Stricter and harsher restrictions were implemented for worship gatherings.

As a result, the movement “Let Us Worship” [was birthed] with the goal of peacefully protesting against the ban. It started with a petition that had received 7,000 signatures by its fourth day. And today, they have been going around the state of California, hosting worship services and inviting every Believer to join them. . . .

Last Saturday, Feucht shared in a social media post that he has invited the governor to the worship event. He wrote, “IT’S TRUE! On September 6th, I have invited the governor of California to pray and worship with us on the steps of the Capitol in Sacramento! Pastors and faith leaders will be gathering for #LetUsWorship and we’d love him to attend.” He also attached an article about his invitation.

Gov. Newsom has not yet released a response, but Feucht hopes he will come. He tweeted that it would be a great opportunity for the governor to show that he supports protests and prayer meetings equally.

We will be praying and praising too when this is going on. God will change the tide, and we pray for everyone to be touched for Christ!

Sean Feucht is coming to Seattle this Sunday but he should be made aware that the location he announced, Cal Anderson Park was on the news last night as being closed. They are only allowing events that share “Seattle’s views” to use the park. Christians do not share Seattle’s world view. At least they shouldn’t. If anyone can get a hold of him to tell him this, it would be appreciated.

As I was looking at an article that had a protester speaking through a megaphone a prayer came to me to assemble and let your powerful Word be spoken through a megaphone with peace and love for one another and decree and declare your Word over the United States. The power of God came on me so strong I couldn’t move. We can pray but we also have to put action to our prayers!

Thank You Lord for the “Let Us Worship” movement. Anoint and protect this group of believers and participants as they gather at these events. Let your Presence be so strong and may many seeking truth be drawn to saints worshiping you. Move Holy Spirit on these events and may your name be glorified through out America.

I pray for this effort. I pray for safety for those in charge of the worship service, and I pray that unbelieving hearts will be changed and will seek Jesus as Savior.

This is exciting! I pray for the Worship Service to bring glory to God. To be safe from those that fight against God. To give others the courage to take a stand. Hallelujah!
