I Prayed

Today at 8:00 a.m. EST, Israel blew the shofar, marking the beginning of a significant season for God’s people—which includes us.
The next three weeks are highly significant and prophetic. We need to pay attention. It provides us with an opportunity to align with God’s heart and timetable as we head into the Jewish New Year (Rosh Hashanah which begins Sept. 18th at sundown).
Okay, stay with me if that just caused you to pause.
“Mom, you know you’re not Jewish, right?” one of my kids commented more than once over the last few years as I have spent time studying the Jewish calendar and feasts. What I’ve learned is that it speaks of present-day importance to all of us—not just Jews.
We need to remember that those of us who are not born Jews are “grafted into the vine” when we accept Christ.
But some of these branches from Abraham’s tree—some of the people of Israel—have been broken off. And you Gentiles, who were branches from a wild olive tree, have been grafted in. So now you also receive the blessing God has promised Abraham and his children, sharing in the rich nourishment from the root of God’s special olive tree. (Romans 11:17 NLT)
Most people who are not Jewish are completely unaware of the feasts, festivals, first fruits, and holy days of God’s prophetic calendar or their significance to us. Note, I didn’t say Jewish calendar. I said God’s calendar, because it is what He established. So why wouldn’t we pay attention to it?
And the month of September is FULL of significant events.
Sundown on September 18 is Rosh Hashanah. It marks the Jewish New Year of 5781. The year 5780 was the launch of a decade (80) which means “Pey,” translated “mouth.” Isn’t it ironic how masks became a primary focus and the muzzling of the mouth and Christian voice grew increasingly common this past year? But we are entering a new year! It is time to open our mouths and remove the muzzle. It is time we speak up and speak out on behalf of the Lord. This day is marked by the blast of the shofar, which represents the voice of God and awakening! It is time America awakens!
Rosh Hashanah is also the beginning of what is known as the Ten Days of Repentance (September 19-28). It is to be a time of reflection as we start the year. It is our opportunity to reflect upon our lives and repent of anything that needs to be removed—any idol, sin, or area which we need to submit to the Lord. The ten days culminate on September 27 at sundown with a 25-hour mandated fast—the only mandated fast on God’s calendar. This day is called Yom Kippur (which means “to return”)–an appointed time of awakening and revelation.
I submitted a request to the White House to call for a National Day of Fasting to coincide with this date (September 27-28) as a day of atonement. It is a time our nation returns to the Lord!
The fast on Yom Kippur is when we are to come to God in repentance to avert judgment. What if we actually aligned as a nation with God’s call, in His timetable, for repentance and fasting to see an awakening and revelation in our lives and in our land? We have never needed an awakening as we do now. Will you join us in this important day of repentance and fasting for our nation?
I believe America is awakening as prayer teams and prayer calls are being launched all across our nation and the world.
I will be taking a prayer team to Washington, D.C. from September 25-Oct 1 to coincide with these events. We will be joining Jonathan Cahn for “The Return” on the National Mall and Franklin Graham in a prayer walk from the Lincoln Memorial to the Washington Monument as we repent and pray over America on September 26.
We will be praying daily in Lafayette Square—which strategically overlooks the White House—praying for righteousness and holiness to displace the demonic destruction that has been unleashed against our nation in 50 days of Blessing.
In August I wrote an alert about a plan to take Washington, D.C. by siege. The Occupy Wall Street protesters decided to launch a siege against the White House from September 17 through the election, announcing they would “occupy” Lafayette Square. Only they couldn’t.
As God would have it, a mighty intercessor felt prompted months ago to apply for a permit for that square for the same dates to intercede for the election. So, it is INTERCESSORS AND WATCHMEN ON THE WALL who are occupying that strategic position as the disrupters have now cancelled their event! The prayers of the saints prevailed!
There has never been a more strategic time to align with God’s calendar and to align as the Church (the Ekklesia) in prayer to see God’s hand touch our land. This is not just about the election. This is about America’s destiny and God’s call upon her, which has been threatened by the demonic forces of darkness. That is the battle we wage. America must not fall, but re-emerge in revival. This is the timetable we are in. These days will be remembered in history. Our children will talk of them and I believe it will be in sharing how God delivered us!
May we join together and lock arms in intercession and action to align with God’s plan and purposes in this prophetic season both individually and as a nation. It’s time for an awakening!

7 yr. Wedding we attend when Jesus deals with Israel here under the sun. Then we return with Him and of everything I’ve been taught and learned from Jesus this one thing I Know is certain….He Reigns! He is on His Throne and the enemy is a liar spreading fear knowing he has a short time and that he LOSES. Praise the Lord of Hosts because He is Good!

Amen, so very thankful that “seige” was stopped by the hand of God through the faithful prayers of intercessors! We do make a difference, though satan will try to remind us our voices are “silent”! It’s our trusting God and His power that moves, not our voices! He uses our voices, supplications to perform His mighty miracles! Praise God!

As of yesterday, thousands of believers all over the world started 10-days of repentance and prayer. We are fasting, repenting, praying, worshiping and seeking God. The goal was 120 cities and 120,000 people and I believe it has been surpassed. We have a 24/7 virtual global prayer room through Zoom. Anyone wanting to join go to 10days.net.

How do I organize our town to join in on this. I will be personally but I would like to get something going for our town.
If you have a Christian newspaper or radio station, you can release information to them to get the word out. I also encourage you to join http://www.city-by-city.org to raise up a minimum of ten intercessors to pray for your city. Each Monday we release a new prayer focus and when you sign up you will receive a scriptural prayer to pray over your city. It’s all free, but you do have to register your city and state as we are working to get every city in America covered.
Lord, awaken all who are called by Your name to the importance of returning to You, submitting our will to You: making and keeping You on the throne in our lives. If we aren’t desperate for You, Almighty God, we should be. You are our only hope. Circumcise our hearts. May we seek Your face and glorify You.

“Franklin Graham’s Prayer March & Jonathan Cahn’s ‘The Return’ Aim to Keep USA From ‘Point of No Return'” (by Paul Strand, CBN)…
Has America moved so far from God, it’s passed the point of no return? Religious believers gathering on the National Mall and around the nation September 26th are pleading with God that it not be so. At two huge events – Washington Prayer March 2020 and a solemn assembly called The Return – they’ll be praying America be given more time.
Evangelist Franklin Graham and prophetic writer Jonathan Cahn both say God led them separately to call for these huge assemblies on the National Mall September 26th.
“God is Converging Everything”
Cahn doesn’t think it’s just a coincidence. He told CBN News, “God is converging everything. That’s how important this day is.”
In a promotional video for The Return, Cahn pointed out the significance of this time, saying, “This will take place not only 40 days before the presidential election but also on the 400th anniversary of the sailing of the Mayflower, in the days of America’s founding and dedication to God.”
He insists the country has to get back to that dedication…or else.
America: Dividing & Disintegrating?
“I believe that America is heading to calamity if it continues on its course, and I believe we have the warning signs all around us,” Cahn argued. “We could have [a] total economic collapse. We’re already seeing the beginning of it. We could have the dividing of America, the breakdown, the disintegration of America.”
He added, “It would also mean persecution for the people of God. It could also mean the end of religious freedom.”
Meanwhile, Franklin Graham told CBN News, “We’re coming to pray. And I’m just asking people to join me.”
Franklin Graham says The Return and the noontime prayer march he’s leading the same day are a good start to get America out of trouble and back to God.
Fill This City with Prayer
Looking across the nation’s capital, he said, “Let’s fill this city with people who are willing to pray for this country, to pray for the president, to pray for all of our leaders, Democrat and Republican.”
The Return will go from 9 am to 9 pm a couple of blocks from the Washington Monument towards the Capitol building. Then over by the Lincoln Memorial, around noon the Washington Prayer March 2020 will begin, stopping for targeted, focused prayer at famous Washington sites on or near the National Mall.
In his promo for the prayer march, Graham said, “As I stand in this nation’s capital, this country is in trouble. The only hope for America is God.”
He continued, “Prayer is our most important weapon. It allows us to go directly to the King of Kings, directly to stand before the throne of grace and make our petitions known directly to God.”
‘The Return’ landed on the Day Called ‘Shuvah,’ Which Happens to Mean ‘The Return’
Cahn said of September 26th and the National Mall, “There is something that is very big and spiritual focused on that day and that place.”
In fact, though Cahn says God told him months ago to have this sacred assembly called The Return September 26th, Cahn just found out it’s the Sabbath day called “Shuvah” on the sacred Hebrew calendar.
“‘Shuvah’ in Hebrew means The Return,” Cahn said. “And it’s the day set in the Bible’s calendar for Return, and specifically for the Return of a nation, back to God for repentance.”
CBN News will simulcast The Return on the CBN News Channel on Friday evening and Saturday morning, September 25 and 26.
Cahn emphasized, “It can’t just be prayer. It’s got to be repentance.”

I appreciate the reference to God’s calendar and now understand it’s significance. We have a team of mighty intercessors traveling from West Tennessee to DC for The Return. So confident that there will be an outpouring of the Holy Spirit there!
The wicked draw the sword and bend the bow to bring down the poor and needy, to slay those whose ways are upright. But their swords will pierce their own hearts, and their bows will be broken. Better the little that the righteous have than the wealth of many wicked; for the power of the wicked will be broken, but the Lord upholds the righteous! Psalm 37: 15-17. Those the Lord blesses will inherit the land, but those who He curses will be cut off. V. 22. Wait on the Lord and keep His way. He will exalt you to inherit the land; when the wicked are cut off you will see it. V. 34. See..v. 35, too.
Father, in the Name of Jesus, thank you for Intercessors. Your Word teaches us, “We have not because we ask not”. Intercessors make a huge difference. You love for us to come to you about all matters. Your Word promises us in Psalm 66:7…You are watching every movement of the nations”.
You are always, and will be present in Washington during the “Return”. I pray for peace and unity to cover the nation’s capitol. “Let no rebel rise in defiance” to disrupt the prayers and peaceful intervention marking the “Return”. Lord, throughout history You have called people to awakening and repentance. I pray the power of the Holy Spirit to flood Washington, and hundreds of souls be saved during the time of prayer and fasting. Thank You for grafting Gentiles into Your vine, Israel. Yes indeed these are the times we get with God’s program. Our country needs to turn back to her maker Almighty God. The president needs prayer on all sides, but moreover he needs to get with God Almighty’s program for this country, him been the Leader, for such a time as this, that’s why I am actually a volunteer at the prayer march on September 26th. I am so uplifted by this message, the Lord will not be mocked & His will shall be done. Our job as intercessors is to pray in agreement to bring His plan to fruition. Lord, if ever we have needed to repent it is now. Forgive us for our tolerance of sin. We have not stood for the truths of Your Word as we should. We have not prayed as we should, nor have we been concerned for the lost and dying as we should. Forgive us for being more interested in entertainment than our relationship with You. May God bless this time o prayer and fasting. My husband and I have always honored these Holy days. We see them not as Jewish holy days but as God’s Holy Days as stated in Leviticus 23. They are the Lord’s appointed times and He instructs us to observe them as Sacred assemblies forever. They are full of prophecy and point toward Jeshua. I encourage all believers to begin to study and observe God’s appointed times as Jeshua our Messiah did while He walked the earth. May God bless all who honor and worship Him.

How great is our God!!! He alone is worthy to be praised!!! I agree with all the saints that as a nation we fast and pray for the Lord to have mercy on us in this time of need. He is faithful, and as we can see He is always on time. I am amazed oh His perfect timing on the Lafayette Square issue. I am in awe on Him and His grace, favor and great love for us.
