I Prayed have prayed
Father God, thank You for what You are doing and have done! Thank You that Your Word doesn't return void.

We were so excited to hear about this development in New York that is a direct answer to our prayers!

Have you downloaded IFA’s new prayer calendar? You can click here to get it. Two of the prayers are for state legislators:

Pray for your State Senator, his/her family, and staff, for accountability and submission to God (Rom 13:1).

Pray for your State Delegate/Representative for your district to receive wisdom and discernment from God (Is 33:6).

This prayer is being answered in New York. New York Families reports,

“For decades, our ministry has hosted a legislative prayer breakfast and Bible study in the New York State Capitol each Tuesday morning during the legislative session. The legislative session runs January through June each year. During the pandemic, the weekly Bible study could not meet in person, but met via video conference instead.

“This year, legislators requested that our ministry continue these Bible studies during the off-session months. Now, and for the first time, our legislative Bible Study will be operating not just during the first half of the year, but during the second half as well. This means that we will be sharing God’s Word TWICE as much with legislators. Additionally, attendance at these weekly studies is increasing. Democrats and Republicans are coming together around the Gospel.”

Let’s praise God for this answered prayer in New York! Are you seeing ministry to legislators increase in your state? Share your prayers and comments.

Wonderful news! Good to hear that Americans of any state are seeking the Lord and His wisdom! May their eyes be opened by the power of the Holy Spirit, as they read and study God’s Word.

Praise God. I’m a New Yorker. I will pray. New York is in deep trouble with Satanic strongholds. But Jesus is greater.

As a transplanted New Yawka in Arizona, I still have affection for my hometown — as I remember it during the Giuliani years, when the region experienced something of a renaissance. Dear God… if this takes hold in this blind state and city, I’ll be ecstatic.

Our prayers … may be working??? Time will tell.

Dear Father, please move the minds and hearts of all legislators from North Carolina to the other 48 states to follow with Bible studies together. Bind the enemy from interfering in any way and loose a desire in our leaders to desire Your will and to follow it. Give them a love for Your Word.

New York, the once “Empire State” has become the “Exodus” State. We must decree that it will be the “Revival State.” We must be desperate for His presence. The greater the challenge, the greater the glory when God shows up.

I join you Reverend. Father I pray a total revival in NY and make it ground zero for everyone who resides in or visits and ultimately ALL 50…Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Lousianna, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Mark 8:33 But, turning around and looking at his talmidim, he rebuked Kefa. “Get behind me, Satan!” he said, “For your thinking is from a human perspective, not from God’s perspective!”

I believe you are the one who said you were praying for all the states.
This really got my whole attention and I began to pray for the states.
I have been memorizing them from Alabama to Wyoming and lifting them up
to the Lord. I included Washington DC as well.
These states consist of people for whom Jesus died. I feel
that it is quite an acceptable prayer task in the eyes of the Lord. I just
wanted to thank you again. It looks like the Lord is attentive to this praying.
Praise Him in all the earth!!! Amen.

Thank you so much, Susan. It may seem redundant, but
when I say the name of the state, I try to “see” where
it is on the map in my mind. (I am not the greatest at
geography either). For example: Alabama is right next
door to me (Georgia) and it is as if I “feel” its location.
Then Alaska – way up there from Alabama – etc. each state
location. I perceive the Holy Spirit moving in that state
and going from each location to the other (a sense of power
being dispensed in each state). It’s not easy to explain,
but I wanted you to know because you started this! Thank you!

Praise be to You, Lord God! May Your name be exalted and may the benefits of these studies be duplicated through all state and city legislative bodies. Lord, please work in the hearts of believing government workers. Direct them to seek You. Guide their steps and strengthen them in their relationship with You. Grant them favor as they work to change things from within sharing the gospel and pointing others to Jesus Christ. Oh Lord, You are God Almighty. Nothing is impossible for You (Luke 1:37). You change times and seasons; You depose kings and raise up others. You give wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning (Daniel 2:21). Oh Lord, how could we trust another? You are all we need. Help us to live out Prov 3:5-6, Trusting in the Lord and leaning NOT on our own understanding and in all ways help us to acknowledge You and You will direct our path. May it be that Your will be done. In Jesus Name we pray! Amen

“Oh Lord, how could we trust another? You are all we need.” YES and AMEN!

Denise, I’m feeling such encouragement in your prayer. It reminded me of a similar experience during the dark times of the shut down last year. I hope you will indulge me….In the parking lot of a grocery store, I saw the following written on the back window of a large SUV….”DO NOT FEAR, TRUST GOD!” That bold message gave me such strength in that moment and so much so, I wanted to leave the “author” a note on their windshield. It took me a while to find paper but I did and as I was about to place it under the wiper, she came out. I handed her the note and asked if she would read it. She broke out into a hymn sung in Hebrew. I cried. We praised God in the parking lot…she shared that she felt our moment together was confirmation that her prayer would be answered. Her husband had been unemployed for a while but on that day had several interviews. We left not knowing each other’s name, but so full in the spirit after praying for one another. We must never forget to “trust in the Lord and leaning NOT on our own understanding and in all ways acknowledge HIM for HE will direct our path!” We love You Father. We love You Jesus, We love You Holy Spirit. Amen

Susan, Absolutely! And what an encouragement your message was to me. I’ve heard it said that the Bible says “Fear Not” 365 times one for every day. A friend I prayed with today reminded me that fear not is a command. We are to walk in confidence and obedience. Thank you for sharing your experience. God is so good to provide us encouragement and confirmation right when we need it. And how wonderful He is to use you to bless me today! Hugs!
