I Prayed have prayed
Lord God, thank You for all the men and women who serve in the National Guard. May they get the support they need and cry out to You for help when they need it.

The Capitol Police have requested that members of the National Guard continue to provide security at the U.S. Capitol for another two months, The Associated Press has learned. Defense officials say the new proposal is being reviewed by the Pentagon, and negotiations between the department, the police and congressional authorities are ongoing.

The request to keep as many as 2,200 Guard troops in D.C. underscores the continuing concerns about security and the potential for violence at the Capitol, two months after rioters breached the building in violence that left five people dead. And it came as law enforcement was on high alert Thursday around the Capitol after intelligence uncovered a “possible plot” by a militia group to storm the building. . . .

Defense officials confirmed that the request is under review at the Pentagon, and that the Guard has started checking states for availability of their troops, in an effort to be prepared if final Defense Department approval is given. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss internal deliberations.

According to a memo from the Capitol Police to congressional leaders, the new draft proposal asks to keep up to 2,200 Guard members in D.C. initially, and reduce the number “incrementally and rationally” based on the threat. . . .

The request got a sharp rebuke from Sen. Jim Inhofe, R-Okla.

“It’s outrageous,” he said. ”That’s not what they’re supposed to be, that’s not their mission. We have the Capitol Police, that is their mission.”

The more than 5,000 Guard members currently in Washington, D.C., are all slated to go home March 12, ending the mission.

IFA has relationships with officers in the National Guard. One has worked all but two days since January 2 and every day is a 12 hour day. He shared with us that the Guardsmen and women are being strained personally and professionally. Here are a few prayer points:

  • Wisdom for the leadership.
  • That the Christians in the Guard would be able to support, encourage, and share truth with their colleagues.
  • For preservation of their civilian jobs.
  • Help in family relationships that have been strained by the deployment.
  • Provision for families left at home–spouses parenting kids in online school.

Thank you Guardsmen for your service
Gone are the reports of you living in substandard conditions. I know it’s time for you to go home. I pray the powers to be will perceive how LUDICROUS their decisions have been AND are. Thx you for your faithful service

Our Dear Heavenly Father, watch over the men and women in the National Guard in DC and all around our country. Bless them, comfort them, give them peace, lift them up not only with my prayer but also the intercessory prayers of the Saints. Their task is difficult being away from home and family. To be on guard duty, except for 2 days since January (might apply to only 1) but even that is cruel to the Guard person and to their family. These are young people who have offered their lives for our country for protection of country, and support when disaster strikes. If there were not support from the Police, Lord, I could understand. That protection is already in place. I pray in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior to let our young men and women go home. Remove the fear these Congress and Senate men and women have or believe that is largely unfounded. In the Name of Jesus, allow these poor men and women to leave DC and other sites around our country and let them go home. Amen

Father, Your will be done in Washington, DC as in heaven. You know the situation with the National Guard. You even know the agenda of why they are there. If it’s Your will for them to leave, make the way possible and peaceful. Keep them in Your care. Meet all their needs. Keep their families safe and strong, while they are waiting for their love ones to return home. Give those in authority wisdom to make right decisions. Let Your light shine bright in Washington,DC and expose the evil. In Jesus Name we pray, Amen!!

Proverbs 3:5 I pray for all those National Guard service men and women who are assigned to duty in our Nation’s Capitol. Those who are in power live in constant fear because they live in darkness. We pray that their eyes be opened and their hearts be softened. We forgive because Jesus forgave us. God, our almighty and powerful loving God we ask you to intercede and release these guardsmen and women back to their homes and families. Your will be done Lord. In Jesus name we pray.

Every Governor in every state should bring their National Guard home ! Enough is enough! There is no logical reason for them to be there! Their treatment is totally unacceptable! This is ludicrous! GOVERNORS!, stand up for our National Guard NOW! Stop this insanity!!

They have Capitol police, use them!! Our military should NEVER be used for this! Bring every National Guard military home to their state. This administration must think we are stupid and that we don’t know what ther obvious agenda is! Stop using our military!

Dear Lord, please release these men and women back to their homes and jobs. Bless their employers with favor for each and everyone and restore their jobs when they return. Lord, put it in the hearts of those in charge of the Capitol Police to step up to their responsibility. Forgive our nation Lord for allowing this to happen. Forgive us for allowing the gross misuse of power to happen in our states and local locations that have gone now all the way to our fearful, and rightfully fearful top leadership. Let that fear become the fear of the Righteous Judge and Ruler of all, You Lord! Have mercy on us and Make America GODLY Again. In Jesus saving name, Amen.

Can someone speak to the flag that is flying over the Capitol building? My daughter worked in D.C. for years and the flag that flew in that position was always the American flag as we know it. It does not appear to be the traditional flag as the others hanging below.

I must say we are really starting to look like a third world country with armed soldiers all around. Pretty soon the NG will be at every federal building, airport and municipal in America. This is really a terrible image to portray for a free country; or is it a free country any longer?

A word of encouragement: Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9.

There is one compelling reason that the Guard is still present in D.C.-the powers- that -be are fearful of an act of violence to happen. As long as Socialist dictator Biden is in office, that fear is legitimate. If he continues down the path that he is on, civil war is a real possibility. I pray for the Guardsmen on duty in D.C. Please give them strength to not grow weary. Please watch over their families, and return them home soon to their loved ones. I pray Lord, that by Your grace, their civilian jobs would still be there for them to work once they do get home. Most of all, I pray for this evil influence over our nation and our government. Satan, you must keep your influence out of D.C. We bind your futile, yet dangerous efforts to steal, kill, and destroy in the mighty name of Jesus. We pray for the fruit of Holy Spirit to replace these evil spirits. In Jesus’ name we pray.

I think you’re exactly right Brian. They are afraid of a possible retaliation and true, a civil war could be very possible. They are only looking out for themselves, as they usually do.

Nothing new there! They, including Bejing Joe, are stooges of the Power Elite, who are intent on ruining our country as we know and love it. This sets the stage for one world government, and the rise of Antichrist.

The big question is who will the NG side with? If a war were to break out there would be thousands of people descend on the nations capital. The number of guardsman there would not be able to stop them. This will not be a minor skirmish but an out and out attack to remove these people from office. If this were to occur there are a number of Combat Veterans as well as Infantry and all other MOSs, it would turn out to be a blood bath. If a civil war were to occur the military would also have to be involved and it would be hard to determine which side of the fence they would be on. Any way that you look at this it will be a loose loose situation for the country. I am not saying this will or will not happen but the Democrats are pushing very hard for this to happen with their violations of the Constitution. I can only say the Democrats must back away from their treacherous ways and work for the American people rather than the illegals entering this country!

Yes it will prove quite interesting. Biden and his cohorts seem to be trying their hardest to undo the positives that Pres. Trump brought about, and they seem to be intent on ruining our nation. There are enough upset “deplorables” in this nation (Trump Supporters) that it could be possible for civil war to break out. Irregardless, what the radical socialists are trying to do to our country could result in violence. Time will tell.

Please do not make the blanket statement, “five people died.”
One young woman was shot in the neck by Capital police, and died.
No one in the Media is talking about this.
Others died from stroke, and causes unrelated to the Capital break-in.

Agreed. The AP’s “5 people” mantra has been debunked and corrections have been issued. This is beyond embarrassing and has crossed over into deception.

Please stop. If you can’t walk in integrity, it might be time to lay this organization at the foot of the cross and walk away from it.

There is evidence that the Capitol “riot” was a poorly executed, junior high level production. The onus of a grassroots riot is on those denying evidence to the contrary.

God, please encourage the men and women who are currently serving and their families supporting them by caring from their homes. Protect them all physically, mentally, and spiritually. Provide all of their needs, beyond just the physical ones, in abundance so they know that You are walking with them each step and that they are not alone.

Please give wisdom and Your guidance to those making the decisions that are affecting so many.

I humbly ask & pray in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
