President Joe Biden on Sunday signed an executive order aimed at expanding voting rights. It’s the Biden administration’s latest move to expand voting rights as they push the Senate to pass H.R. 1, the House Democrats’ bill to radically transform America’s election system, including prohibiting voter ID laws and mandating taxpayers fund political campaigns. . . .
Agency heads will be required to post “relevant information” – like how to vote-by-mail and vote in an upcoming election – on websites and social media platforms. Those who visit vote.gov will be directed to the appropriate state website that provides greater details on how to vote in that individual state.
Election officials are encouraged to distribute voter registration and voting-by-mail applications and help voters fill out those applications if need be. The executive order also instructs election officials to “solicit and facilitiat[e] approved, nonpartisan third-party organizations and State officials to provide voter registration services on agency premises.”
Federal prisoners who are currently incarcerated with be educated on their voting rights, including whether or not they will be restored once their sentence is completed. . . .
The executive order also establishes an “Interagency Steering Group on Native American Voting Rights” aimed at “protecting voting rights of Native Americans.” The committee will include the attorney general, interior secretary, agriculture secretary, labor secretary, health and human services secretary and the VA secretary. Other agencies can be invited as needed. The steering committee’s ultimate goal is to increase voter education, registration and turnout in the Native American communities. . . .
“When I say that the president urges Congress to take action that would prevent states from attempts at voter suppression, that applies to all states, and it applies to making sure that the federal government and private litigants have the tools necessary to prevent restrictive voting action,” the official said. Republicans have opposed H.R. 1 because of the lack of voting protections, including requiring an ID to vote, and allowing convicted felons to vote once their sentence is completed. Lord, I ask that you forgive us as a nation for all the sins we and our ancestors have committed against you. We have forgotten and disobeyed Your statues and the covenant that we the United States of America, have made with You, upon the establishment of this great land. Because we as the body of Your dear Son have fallen into idolatry, pride, compromise and much more… we are seeing the fruits of our labors; in which our sons and daughters will inherit if we do not humble ourselves, pray, seek Your face and turn from our wicked ways. Lord, we need You. Do not forsake the work of thine own hands. I ask along with my fellow brothers and sisters in the faith that You reverse this curse as well as many others that the enemy of our souls has used the stroke of a pen to deem into law. Your Word says, “Godliness makes a nation great, but sin is a disgrace to any people” & “Blessed is the nation who’s God is the Lord”. Forgive us Lord. Heal us Lord. Bless us Lord. Create within this nation a clean heart, a unified heart in Christ. Renew a righteous spirit within us again. In Jesus name. Amen.
This is national voting. States wouldn’t matter. With this, they (Democrats) will never lose an election, ever! There is no voter protection.
Get on the phone and let your Senator know that you will not vote or support anyone who doesn’t stand up for voter ID! Democratic Senators, in particular, need to be held responsible and need to hear from you. They WANT and NEED your vote to stay in office. If we don’t stop this, Democrats will NEVER be voted out of office! Truly, our freedoms are at stake, like never before. Make no mistake, this is ALL about control and our freedom!

Through the whole United States of America every single voter should be made to show a photo ID and everyone should have to verify and be verified that they are a legal resident of the United States of America! No ifs ands or buts about it! Keep America free!
This is another attempt by the Democrats to stay in control forever. Their the ones that tried to spread the rumors concerning whether or not President Trump would leave the White House. Everything in this Bill is Unconstitutional. It takes the control out of the individual states, when it pertains to the elections and puts it in the control of the Federal Government. One step closer to Socialism.
Will each state be able to override this Executive Order? In NC the majority voted for the requirement of Voter ID but our Governor Vetoed it and his veto was upheld by his crony AG.
I believe the Governors win in the last election was part of this voter Dominion fraud so he’s still governor although I know of no one who voted for him.
God, please stop H.R.1 as it allows all kinds of things that are wrong for our Nation. We need to trust in our Election Laws, which should ultimately be one legal vote for each legal person. Illegal aliens and convicted felons should not be allowed to vote in our elections as they do not have this right. Please my Lord, I plead the blood of Jesus over this mess and declare transparency, truth, and righteousness will prevail and all dishonestly will be removed so we can trust in our elections once more. I have noticed that since the Dems control the mainstream media, the selective bias in ‘protecting’ cognitively challenged Joe Biden is screaming at us daily. His days in the Oval Office are numbered; Kamala is being ‘groomed’ to take the reins of government soon. She has been the most radically Liberal Senator in modern history and has ALWAYS voted against ANY rights for the unborn. Why do not the American people raise a hue and cry every time the arguments against voter identification are raised? It’s so simple to protect our voting rights, to REQUIRE every voter to appear at a voting station and show their identification card. They can get one at the DMV without needing help with car registrations, etc. The legislators should be standing on their heads to get a bill passed requiring this simple solution and making sure NOTHING changes about it! It is so simple, yet for some reason we are hosed down every time it comes up! Makes me sick!

This the first time I have ever heard of any president issuing an executive order with the same content that is in a bill currently going through the legislative process. HR1 is now in the Senate. Does Biden’s EO mean that HR1 is now the law of the land even though it has not yet passed the Senate?

We need all the states that haven’t turned socialist to enact legislation to oppose this executive order act. Also need Federal judges to block this executive order! It worked for the democrats against republican administrations. Time for reverse or block these crazy executive orders. Surely the Supreme Court will not uphold this as it infringes on State rights.

HR-1 seems unconstitutional to me. The states are given authority by the constitution over voting procedures. It’s over reach once again. Hopefully the states will bring action in the courts. God is still sovereign over all and I trust Him to overturn evil.

I read the order and what I see is an opportunity for patriotic Christians to help people in this process. It is important to educate voters on how and why and what they are voting for. People need to help people understand and vote according to their beliefs. We need to make sure that our individual states have voter ID laws. This order only requires federal agencies to set up committees to facilitate voting. I don’t understand why it was necessary.
This isn’t good. I want to know why we have to let people who aren’t like me vote.
All citizens have the right to vote. That’s granted by the constitution. We are not a homogenous country and therefore we are going to disagree. That’s personal choice. I’m for that.
