With a new COVID variant on the horizon, mask mandates are back in fashion. How will Americans respond to another wave of oppression?
From The Epoch Times. Nearly one year after President Joe Biden declared the pandemic over, some colleges and work places have reinstituted mask mandates amid reports that the administration is set to roll out new COVID regulations as early as next month.

The COVID sub-variant, currently known as Eris, which has been seen in more than 50 countries including Denmark and Israel, has spurred increasing numbers of medical professionals and health activists to begin calling for a reinstatement of COVID-era restrictions, including forced face coverings.
However, the public can expect any new regulations to be met by congressional pushback. Rep. Kevin Kiley (R-Calif.) told The Epoch Times that new mandates would be “simply inappropriate for any level of government.”
“The notion that certain jurisdictions and institutions would rush back into mandate mode is not going to be well received by anyone in this country,” said Mr. Kiley. …
Still, in some parts of the country, mask mandates have already arrived. A slight uptick in the virus led two hospitals in Syracuse, New York, University and Community General, to reimpose mandatory face-masking and COVID testing on Aug. 17, according to local news outlets. …
In Los Angeles, major Hollywood studio Lionsgate demanded employees cover their faces at its Santa Monica office buildings. The policy was announced in an internal memo obtained by Deadline, demanding that “Employees must wear a medical grade face covering (surgical mask, KN95 or N95) when indoors except when alone in an office with the door closed, actively eating, actively drinking at their desk or workstation, or if they are the only individual present in a large open workspace.”
In Atlanta, Georgia Morris Brown College announced a mask mandate for everyone entering its campus. …

The first round of covid was a test. The covid was real & people died from it. The “vaxx” was weaponized, and people are still dying from its effects. I refuse to be masked (Congress must pass a law for that. I still refuse any vaxx-I had and recovered from covid. I have natural immunity. And God made our immune systems to make NEW antibodies against any similar threat. This new version of the omicron virus is very mild, and should have minimum effects on the general population. Masks have been PROVEN to be useless. Please don’t “drink the kool-aid” – our current government is no longer “for the people”. BUT, if God is FOR us, then who can be AGAINST us. I have read all the research, first starting in Europe with the 1st round of covid. They were right all along, & my remarks re: this are research-based. God bless you!
They are made with toxic sealant. It can cause cancer. It has been outlawed in other countries but America and China. We have China the recipe all PPE has it. It does not stop the spread of any virus and shots are not the answer as of yet. Pray the blood break off curses. Colleges and certain health care and certain or the jobs make it mandatory it should not. And cast down fear!

Masks, not worn properly are proven to be unhealthy. They harbor germs and bacteria. Even the box that the KN95 came in says they shouldn’t be worn for more than 4 hours at a time. Then dispose of them! Mandating a whole population to wear them is absurd and unhealthy and psychologically damaging for many people. It also depletes your oxygen supply and causes you to breathe your own exhaled carbon dioxide! They should be limited to hospital and visiting the elderly and vulnerable, in my opinion.

There have been many studies that show the masks don’t work. This is just another way the government is trying to scare the people into following their orders. The shots don’t work either. It’s all about money and power and control. I pray enough people will stand up against this madness! (It’s sad when you get labeled as unchristian or don’t care about someone’s grandma just because you didn’t get the shot.)

Father God, you know this is all a controlled plannedemic… It is nothing but the Gov control to take away our rights and freedoms. I will not bow to any man or gov that goes against my God given rights. I didn’t and still won’t be wearing any masks that hinder my health or cause any harm to me or my Children. It is plainly the abuse of power by the Gov. Anyone who is a Christian knows this is absolutely foolish and evil. I will not be masking up anywhere. My husband I were ones who’d I’d ALL they talked about in 2020. We social distanced. I mean we STAYED in our home!
Sanitized galore. Seldom went to stores. Wore masks, and gloves too.
Prayed.
Had church at home for months.
And we BOTH..STILL got Covid!
So..yeah..it did NOT work!
Masks do NOT keep you from getting Covid.

I thought it was made public already that the vaccine and face masks don’t work. GOOD Lord, deliver us from COVID and all it’s variants once for alland these power hungry people that use it attempting to control us.
Since I am in a position to know that these medical masks do “NOTHING” in preventing a virus from getting through, then I will not be complying. I didn’t the first go around since I knew that these do absolutely nothing in keeping you healthy, as a matter of fact, you should never wear a mask longer than 30 minutes. So no, I will not be complying to this insidious display of power and control or just plain insanity. I cannot sell my soul or compromise for the sake of someone else’s gestapo attitude in where the term, “for the good of everyone” originated, and because of that term that Hitler used non-stop, millions of Jews were slaughtered “for the good of everyone.” I see this insane mask mandate for what it is… a conditioning of the weak willed against those who are evil.
I agree that there will be great uproar from the public if the “MASK MANDATE” is reinstated. I for one have no faith in immunizations rushed out without the proper vetting; the reason the last one was rejected by many and the other reason is using aborted stem cells which was not given the religious exemption it deserved. I, for one, believe Jesus is the only answer to this issue. My one hope is that churches will be considered essential and not be shut down again. The church provides meals to the homeless and many other services that were cut off which created much havoc. The isolation increased the amount of suicides due to lock down: it cannot happen again in Jesus name.

I think all the Covid regulations are demonic. Covid Virus is a Cold virus. Most people only have symptoms of a cold. I must address this article…yes…the shut downs and some restrictions were destructive especially to our economy…yes the Covid and peoples views on mandates caused division…but I must say…first please know that I’m a Christ loving God honoring Christian women…and I love Gods Word…but let me add…many Christians jump on a band wagon on issues without ever praying to the Lord in respect to those issues…if you had you would read in His word His views on some things…especially masking…and Why He allowed the Covid in the first place….(ponder that),…
Let me first share that I’m batting multiple autoimmune diseases plus chronic spine disease, MS, and metallosis, and my Dr said if I get Covid it would kill me….and my daughter was only 15-16 when this hit and she’s has early signs of chronic inflammatory disease of which they haven’t been able to determine what type..
During the Covid after my church won a lawsuit to allow us to reopen…I have never in my life seen so much hate, disrespect and division in a church…
My church was supposed to be known for love of people…
But God allowed Covid to happen I believe to expose the heart condition of His people…to which my daughter and I became first hand witnesses to…we’re called to love our neighbors as ourselves, to show the love of Christ to everyone around us….but my daughter and I became as time went on…the only ones in a church of over 5,000 people to wear masks…and people I had known for years and loved, would walk up and deliberately cough on us !!! Yes you read that right….cough on us…some actually were Covid positive…we had a huge outbreak just after over 500 students came back from church camp..we buried over 8 people from that outbreak…people I knew and loved…my daughters best friend lost BOTH of her parents within 5 days of each other…they were hospitalized together and died days apart…not only the hate and division in the church but the hate, discrimination and division in this nation….and what’s worse….we as Christian’s are not to cause division but be peace makers….I personally witnessed Christians cause division…my heart was so broken over the condition of the church and our nation…and to hear people say masking doesn’t work is foolish…why ? Because my daughter and I and a couple of other friends (God always has a remnant), have continued to mask for over 3 1/2 years since the shut down….the masking does work…but for only those who actually put them on !…many of you scream that masking doesn’t work…because you never actually put them on to start with…you scream oppression!!! But let me tell you also….I’m living in an abusive marriage….(yes I’ve tried to leave 5 times, that’s a story for later), I was raised in an abusive home and the oppression that I experienced at home and now is something you all can’t imagine…yet over a simple piece of cloth you scream oppression! No it’s not !!!
Oppression is a husband who financially, verbally, psychologically, abuses you…church people knew what I’m living with but added to the oppression…my point is this….
First I do agree that the shut downs were not warranted and destroyed our economy….but again God allowed these events for a higher purpose that many Christian’s fail to realize….He’s trying to get this nations attention ! This nation is living in idolatry and has turned its back on Him…
And the church is supposed to be living proof of a loving God to a watching world !…

Masking and social distancing is in fact in the Bible !!!! Yes !!! It’s there in the Bible !!!! But so many of you didn’t want to humble yourselves for the good of others including the weaker vulnerable people around you…it was a ‘me mentality’ and the church failed the test !!! You all missed the point of it all…God was trying to get your attention, and He was exposing the true heart condition of His people ! Selfishness, greed, idolatry, hate, no love for others, proud, boasters,….the church missed an opportunity to show the love of Christ to others so that through that plague many lives would be saved…but because of selfishness and a me mentality…all the lost folk saw was how much hate Gods people could spew out…many of you showed the lost around you selfishness and not the love of God Himself…we’re called to be an ambassador for Christ…but many were an ambassador for self….
Masking is in the Bible…
Please read Leviticus 13:45-46….
(Yes…we’re not under the Law, but under the covenant of grace…But…the Law is a tutor to show us our sinful nature and to show us we need a Savior)
Leviticus 13:45-46 states
Now the leper on whom the sore is, his clothes shall be torn and his head bare; and he shall cover his mustache/Face, and cry, ‘Unclean! Unclean!’ He shall be unclean. All the days he had a sore he shall be unclean. He is unclean, and he shall dwell Alone;(quarantine)his dwelling shall be Outside the camp.(as in isolation until sores are gone)
In those days…leprosy was highly contagious! It was a virus…and to stop the spread they were kept outside the camp…the had to cry out unclean, as in tell everyone their contagious!
Now let’s move on to the gospels…
Yes…it’s in the gospels! So track with me for a moment please…
Go to Luke 17:12-19
Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, Who Stood Afar Off.! (Social distance)And they lifted up their voices and said, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us !”
So when He saw them, He said to them, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And so it was that as they went they were cleansed.
As you read you learn only one returned to thank Jesus..and Jesus said “Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well.”
These ten men knew they were highly contagious and yet not only recognized Jesus as the Messiah but respected Him enough to obey ‘the Law’ and mask, social distance, and let Him know they were unclean !

But how many people took the time to pray and seek Gods face in the midst of the ‘plague’
How many asked Him, why? What are You trying to show us through this virus? How many actually humbled themselves and obeyed the mandates to social distance, mask, and even quarantine when they were sick…many came to church coughing and spreading the virus…and because of that many lives were lost even in my church for selfish behavior!
God was testing the hearts of His people ! No I do not believe God sent this plague…but He certainly allowed it…
God was exposing the true heart condition of His people and of the church !!!
And many of you failed….instead of humility you chose hate and selfishness, you chose to think only of yourself and not the lost, vulnerable, unsaved folks around you….
I continue to pray daily for Gods people….2 Chronicles 7:14, to humble ourselves, pray and seek His face…
That He would hear the prayers of the faithful, forgive our sins, and heal our land…
But many refuse humility…
God will not heal this land as long as folks do not obey His word…
As long as you refuse to show love and humility to others…He will not heal this land….the first shut down was a wake up call from God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ….
And many didn’t wake up and pay attention…and I fear what the next wake up call for the church will be…
As it is written…1 Peter 4:17,
For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God !
Will you be awake and responsive the next time ? Will you pray and seek His face, humble yourselves?
Sorry for my rant….
But this needed to be addressed!
I will continue to pray for this nation, for His church to wake up and humble themselves, for the corruption in our federal government on Both sides of the political isle….for the corruption is run a muck in our government…
But the condition of our government is in direct relation to the condition of the church…
When a nations government is run a muck…where does God look….?

I would also like to add…I also agree there is sinister objectives behind the Covid and forcing shut downs…but that’s where godly discernment comes into play…no what to reject and stand against…and know where God is asking humility and love for your neighbors around you…discernment is key…don’t just take an all or nothing mentality! Fight the good fight of faith and show humility where humility and love is needed….the only true way to have discernment is to pray and seek His face in these matters…stand against oppression and be humble to win soles for Christ !

Denice, I’m sorry for your experience during the previous pandemic. It was not a pleasant time for anyone, regardless of which side of the vaccine & mask mandate they fell on. There was vitriol and accusation flying everywhere! I pray you have been able to forgive and recover. I agree that the LORD allowed, but did not cause it. And I agree that much of what He is allowing is to, first and foremost, test the body of Christ. We need to be refined in the fire, because “judgement begins in the household of God”. The fire exposed a lot of “less than worthy” motivations, attitudes, beliefs, etc. and the only righteous response is repentance.
There is a need, I believe, to address the application of the instructions on “tzara’at”, often interpreted leprosy, in Lev. to how to handle a pandemic. Those who were ‘sick’ were the ones that needed to warn others of their proximity. Those who had leprosy were to be quarantined, not the healthy. They didn’t wear masks – they were to identify themselves by “wearing torn clothes and unbound hair, covering the upper lip and crying, ‘Unclean!’ Distancing was practiced, not between the healthy – but between the healthy and the ‘sick’. And the responsibility to distance primarily fell on those who were ‘sick’. Quarantine has always been practiced to protect the healthy, by isolating the ‘sick’ – not required of the whole population. And the healthy were not purposely placed among the ‘sick’ – as were many during the previous pandemic resulting in not only the unnecessary risk of death but death itself. So, I question your application.
We are dumb sheep, but shouldn’t remain so – since The Teacher of All Teachers indwells us, and The Instruction Book that we received is Absolute Truth. But I do pray that we will cease vilifying one another when we don’t agree about a course of action. What I believe caused the LORD the greatest grief, was the fact that we as the church responded in ungodly ways to one another – not whether we did or did not receive the vaccine, or whether we did or did not wear a mask.

Fear will rein as the majority of our population has not been through this type or scenario. I have been through the polio epidemic and there was not the open and published fear as we see now. We were aware of different illnesses, but not living in total fear.
This illness, I believe is being released by ‘others’ and it is known to many who that is.
If we know the Lord Jesus then we know our ultimate destination. Do not live in fear, only caution.

Masks are absolutely useless. The virus is much smaller than the openings in the fabric of masks. Masks didn’t stop the spread of the virus. They are tactic of the enemy to keep us from worshiping our God. It’s time for the church to rise up and push back darkness for the sake of our children’s future. I say the enemy’s words, tactics, and actions are empty! We should all say no more lock downs or poison jabs that have killed numerous people. The jabs did not keep people from getting sick. I’m sorry for your experiences with pastors. My pastor never required masks, nor did he or his family get the jab. He stands firm on the Word. Surely there are other pastors who stand for what is right and stand against tyranny.
Yes! In Ohio, my pastor stood strong! We never closed and were never required to mask up. If anyone wore a mask, they were loved and accepted like all of us!

God’s guidelines help us to follow his path and avoid paths that lead to destruction. As the world spins out of control God’s Word is our solid foundation of truth. The more we learn the truth the more we see the lies which the masks can not disguise.

It was known that masking doesn’t work (stop the spread of anything) before covid – that’s why masking has never been protocol for flu. Hopefully, we learned from the recent covid debacle that masking didn’t work during covid and doesn’t work. Masks made no difference statistically in transmission outcomes of the virus. In other words, masks were and are ineffective and therefore unnecessary. Masks provide no benefit, BUT ironically, they do cause harm in various ways. Psychologically, they instill fear and are a constant visual reminder to people that they are (supposedly) in imminent danger, which is a lie but what they want us to believe because scared people are easier to control. Masks adversely affected young children’s language development , social skills and ability to read facial cues that we all take for granted. In school, as a teacher, masks added another layer of difficulty in communicating with students, it was hard to understand what they were saying when they were masked. Classroom instruction is impossible in a mask. The negative impact developmentally on children and psychologically on us all cannot truly be measured adequately but we have all suffered from it in various ways. The only thing masks are useful for is virtue signaling – which creates division and stress. In short, masks are all harm and no help. These mandates will create strife and division but do nothing to stop the spread of any disease. They are unconstitutional and should be resisted as we don’t want the government taking away our freedoms and autonomy, little by little. There is no reason for these mask mandates – we should actually “follow the science!”
