The March for Life aims to foster a culture where abortion becomes “unthinkable.” To that end, Jeanne Mancini, president of the group that sponsors the annual pro-life march in Washington each January, says it will work to draw the public’s attention to the proposed Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act.

The legislation stipulates that if a baby survives an attempted abortion and draws breath, the abortionist or clinic would be required to take the baby to a hospital, rather than leaving it in a closet to die, as happened in one well-documented case.
“Determining the proper treatment is for medical professionals to decide, not politicians in Congress,” Rep. Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y., said in arguing against the bill in the House. Only three Senate Democrats voted in favor of the bill when it came up for a vote in late February.
March organizers hope the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act will be reintroduced in the next session of Congress.
Pro-lifers’ concern for these unwanted babies “is such a contrast” with the attitudes of pro-abortion legislators, said Tom McClusky, the March for Life’s vice president of government affairs.
“This isn’t even an abortion issue,” he said. “This is a baby, born alive after an abortion. It’s just amazing, in this day and age, that people don’t understand this is actually an issue.”
McClusky said that the March for Life, held each January to demonstrate disapproval of the Jan. 22, 1973, Supreme Court ruling in Roe v. Wade that legalized abortion nationwide, is “supportive of any [law] that changes the culture” to protect life.
Mancini and McClusky also announced that the speakers at next month’s March for Life on Jan. 24 in Washington, D.C., will include Louisiana state Sen.-elect Katrina Jackson, a black Democrat. As a state representative, she authored Louisiana’s Unsafe Abortion Protection Act, which would require abortionists to have admitting privileges at a hospital within 30 miles.
The Louisiana Legislature enacted the Unsafe Abortion Protection Act in 2014, and the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals upheld the law in 2018. But in February, the Supreme Court temporarily blocked the law from taking effect, and the justices are expected to hear the case next month. . . .
Mancini said she finds hope in the enthusiasm of young people who participate in the March for Life.

Amen to your prayers. It may not be murder in the hearts of these people but it is in God’s eyes.
Heavenly Father I pray for these precious, precious babies.They have every right to be born.Their are so many couples in the world that would love to have a baby of their own and can’t.give them life give them a future with a family that will love and cherish them the way they were meant to be.I just pray for the mothers that have this precious gift of life. That they have within them would truly truly listen to their hearts. And listen to the heart of the precious life they have within them and give them life not death.Please open the mother and Father ears to ear and eyes of their heart to see the precious life that she has within her.In JESUS Name I Pray Am2❤🙌🙏

I still do not understand how taking a life before or after birth is not considered to be 1ST
DEGREE MURDER! I have tried to get information on this from more than one entity and have not
been given an answer. Do any of you have an answer of why this is not considered to be 1ST DEGREE
MURDER? I pray that Roe vs. Wade will be repealed and that abortion will not be an alternative to
“BIRTH CONTROL” which I saw on one of the posters from a pro-abortion person. Incredible – there are many ways to prevent pregnancy including not being open to sex with anyone you take as a companion. Get educated and stop murdering!!
Lord please be with this organization as it respects life. May those who go to Washington be protected as they travel to and from the event. May You Lord inspire those who attend to motivate those they know to keep their babies. I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

God have mercy on us! Women have accepted the lie that talent, wealth, careers and success are more important than their God given calling of nurturing, mothering children. Have mercy on those who have propagated the lie that a baby in the womb is only tissue, not a person created in the image of God. In Your mercy, open the eyes of those blinded by the culture of materialism and success. I ask that you touch the hearts of the younger generation women to “feel” the child within, to take ownership of that which they carry near their hearts. Please shut their ears to those who lie about babies in the womb, who encourage selfish ambitions over the innocent one in their wombs. Please open the eyes of the younger generation of women to cherish life, empower them to say no to ungodly lies they hear and worldly ambitions that encourage destruction of the innocents.
Help us to impart that truth that women have been devalued in conforming to the present culture. In Your mercy show us how to “abort” the lies being taught in schools that imply that we are “a little lower than the apes”; that we will reveal the truth that we have been “created” a little lower than the Angels”. Help me/us to raise the standard to younger women of their worth and value as women, daughters of the most High God.
Expose the evil agenda of Planned Parenthood. Expose the truth of the pain suffered by a baby torn abruptly from their mother’s womb at any point of development. Expose the truth of women left wounded, body, soul and spirit, by the act of abortion. Let truth and mercy meet.

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for cleansing us in the precious blood of Yeshua (Jesus). Forgive us for this heinous act even being debated in the House of Representatives. Your Word is very clear that we dont have the authority to murder. It is one of your commandments. We can defend yourself against violence, but murder isnt permitted or pleasing in your sight. Help us as a nation to go back to your Word as the absolute authority of how we should live our lives, not by opinion, philosophy or humanism. Let the legislature in this land seek wisdom from above not selfish ambition which is earthly, spiritual and demonic. Help us who say we love you stop listening to man and start seeking your Word. Open our eyes to your heart in this matter and melt the stony hearts of those who refuse to acknowledge Your authority as the final and decisive Word. In Yeshuas name Amen

I thank GOD for the brave young girl who gave birth to the little baby boy whom my daughter and her husband were so privileged to adopt. She may never know the absolute joy her little child has brought to our entire family. We love that little boy so much!
O Father, we weep with you for the babies that have been aborted in America. O God have mercy on us, deliver us from evil. In Jesus Name, Amen
The question should be addressed by SCOTUS: if babies born in the United States of America are Citizens if one parent is a Citizen, when are those babies under protection of the Constitution and to have life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness? The States do not have the right to deny Constitutional rights to any Citizen, not even those fresh from the womb.
