I Prayed have prayed
God, we thank You for this just verdict. We ask You to continue to protect us from terrorist groups like Antifa.

Eight members of a North Texas Antifa cell have received lengthy federal prison sentences following their convictions for carrying out a deadly attack on an Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention facility. The case marks what prosecutors have described as the first successful federal terrorism prosecution involving Antifa members.

From Ngo Comment:

The defendants were among nine Antifa members convicted by a federal jury in March following the first federal Antifa terrorism trial in U.S. history. Their prison sentences are the longest in American history for convicted violent Antifa members.

The cell plotted and carried out an attack on the Prairieland ICE Detention Center in Alvarado, Texas, on July 4, 2025.

Jurors found the defendants guilty of offenses including providing material support to terrorists, rioting, conspiracy involving explosives and related crimes.

The attack occurred after members of the group allegedly spent months planning the operation, training with firearms, and coordinating through encrypted messaging applications. According to testimony presented during the trial, the group arrived at the detention center dressed in black bloc attire and carrying firearms, body armor, medical supplies, and explosive devices. Prosecutors said they used explosive fireworks to lure officers from the facility before opening fire.

During the attack, Alvarado Police Lt. Thomas Gross was shot in the neck but survived. Federal prosecutors argued that ringleader Benjamin Hanil Song fired the shot that wounded the officer. Song received the harshest sentence—100 years in federal prison—after being convicted of attempted murder and discharging a firearm during a violent crime. The remaining defendants sentenced Tuesday received prison terms ranging from 30 to 70 years.

IFA intercessors have been praying about this trial for months now. These convictions do not simply represent justice, they also represent a tangible answer to our fervent prayers.

Evidence introduced at trial included firearms, ammunition, electronic devices stored in Faraday bags, and anarchist propaganda recovered during the investigation. Cooperating co-defendants testified that members identified with Antifa ideology, trained together, and carefully planned the attack. Defense attorneys argued the incident was intended as a protest rather than a terrorist attack, but jurors rejected those claims after deliberating for two days.

The federal convictions do not conclude the legal proceedings. Additional defendants who pleaded guilty are scheduled to be sentenced next week, while several members of the alleged network continue to face separate state charges in Texas, including domestic terrorism, conspiracy, and attempted murder. State investigators have also expanded the investigation into individuals accused of helping Song evade capture following the shooting.

This case is a sobering reminder of the dangers of political violence and extremism. Scripture calls us to pursue justice, uphold the rule of law, and reject violence as a means of advancing political causes. As ideological divisions continue to deepen across America, we can pray for peace, the protection of law enforcement officers, and hearts transformed by the truth of the Gospel.

I applaud these sentences and pray it will be a deterrent for future plots. I also pray for these people to have a dramatic encounter with Jesus causing them to utilize their zeal for good and not for evil. From my lips to God’s ear.

Lord, we thank You justice was served in this trial. we cry out for a Spirit of justice across our land as criminals come before the courts for the wrong thats been committed. Lord, only You know all thats happening behind the scenes around our nation, the good, bad, deception, and all evil. Lord, give us grace to navigate these turbulent waters as we cry out to you.
We ask Lord that you protect this nation from the enemy without & the enemy within that plans on doing harm to this nation. We ask You dismantle & destroy the evil plans the enemy has to harm our citizens, its righteous leaders, and the chaos the enemy wants to cause. we continue to speak life over this nation. Give our political leaders & military leaders uncanny wisdom & discernment for the days ahead. Only You, Lord can bring it to pass. In Jesus precious name. Amen!

Father-God, thank You that justice has prevailed in these rulings, perhaps not as strongly as some would prefer but perhaps it will give these perpetrators time to contemplate and experience the full weight of what they have done, be Holy Spirit-convicted in their hearts, repent and turn from their wicked and evil thoughts and ways. Please, Lord, prune our judicial system on every level into a form that will honor You in all judgments, rulings, and sentences, in Jesus’ Holy and Perfect Name, AMEN

A pittance compared to the cost of lives and treasure these terrorists destroy. Would you prefer they just be killed as were the enemies of God throughout the history of Israel?

This is a good start. These radicalized, wicked people need to be dealt with according to their unacceptable , evil behavior Desperate times call for desperate actions, plain and simple. Bringing back public hanging would go a long way in making an example of terrible actors like Antifa, in my opinion. Other people who are contemplating acting improperly in dealing with the sanctity of human life need to see what can happen to them, if they choose violence towards others, Perhaps, they would think twice before committing these acts of terror towards other people. Lord Jesus, I pray for Your will to prevail in our nation, especially relating to this issue, Thank You Jesus.

My parents always said that the death penalty faithfully carried out for pre meditated murder would go a long way in stopping the crime spree in our nation.
May that be the case now. Thank you Lord for Justice.

I pray against the ideological divisions in America, casting down false rhetoric, untrue statements, and posturing in Jesus’ name. I pray that the true motives behind the ideological divide would be revealed, and that people would repent when they knew what was driving it: hatred, rebellion, corruption, offense, jealousy, witchcraft, revenge, etc. I pray that revival would sweep this nation, and truth would arise, and Jesus blood would drive out these enemy spirits from our hearts, our homes, and our land. The only thing that will heal our land is a return to Jesus, one individual at a time, and the Lordship of Jesus Christ in our lives.
Holding terrorists accountable is a very important step in this process.
I pray that laws in our land that are not morally sound will be replaced with good laws. I pray that parents will monitor their children’s social and gaming activities and become more involved in their children’s lives. I pray that the people creating video games will have a conscience and be held accountable for excessive violence. We pray that God will heal our land in the name of Jesus.

30-70years? Life or death penalty would have been more justice. They will be let out on early parole and just try again.

This is where our prayers come in. We must pray that they will be introduced to Christ by whatever manner He chooses, and that they will commit their lives to Him and serve Him – even in prison.

Praying these groups become benign and defeated. I pray they have NO INFLUENCE over the other inmates and cannot and will not teach their wicked ways to others in prison. Praying that other inmates will not, cannot listen to their advice and teaching.

May God Almighty have His way with them.

Lord, I thank you Lord, that you are an all consuming fire. I pray for justice to be restored in America (as in this case). Let every state, every jurisdiction stand up for judicial action against lawlessness. That judges and courts will move swiftly in every situation. You said “America shall be saved for your purpose”. Jesus.Have your way Jesus!
In your name, Jesus name.
Amen

About time! This scum and those like them need to be dealt with quickly and harshly. Their violent crimes have no place in our society. They are not demonstrators as their defense attorneys say but nothing less than violent, destructive terrorist that needs to be dealt with in the harshest terms. All of them need to fall as this scum did! Keep up the good work.

Oops–better re-read Psalm 109 if that was your reference to “David’s imprecatory Psalm”. It was not David’s direct condemnation. It was instead David quoting what evil men had said about him. At vs. 6 start with “They say” with the quotation ending at vs. 19 and it will make much more sense that assuming this was David’s heart speaking.

        Angela Wilson
        June 25, 2026

Terry, no “oops” on my part. Check out some of these Psalms verses:
        ▪︎Psalms 140:1‭-‬6‭, ‬8‭-‬10‭, ‬12‭-‬13 NLT
        ▪︎Psalms 9:15‭-‬20 NLT
        ▪︎Psalms 94:1‭-‬6 NLT
        ▪︎Psalms 74:18‭-‬23 NLT
        ▪︎Psalms 66:7 NLT

Just to clarify, I actually said “Psalms”, plural, not just 1 Psalm… Refer also to:
        Ps 35
        Ps 55
        Ps 58
        Ps 69

I hope you take the time to read these 🙏🏼
