Yesterday, we covered how special counsel Jack Smith revealed that some of the evidence seized from Mar-a-Lago had been tampered with. Now, House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan has opened an investigation into Smith’s handling of former President Trump’s classified documents case.

Here’s what you need to know:
What Happened:
- In August 2022, the FBI seized 33 boxes from Mar-a-Lago containing classified documents.
- Trump has been charged with improperly handing these documents, and Smith was brought in as a special counsel to investigate.
- Smith’s team revealed in a court filing on Friday that the order of some documents may have been altered.
- This mistake had not been acknowledged previously.
Jordan’s Response:
- Jordan sent a letter to the DOJ’s Office of Professional Responsibility, alleging that this admission is part of a “broader trend” of Smith’s team “violating ethical norms.”
- Jordan has requested a briefing on the actions being taken to investigate Smith and his team, and all documents and communications related to the manipulation of evidence in the Mar-a-Lago case and allegations of “ethical impropriety” concerning Smith and his team.
- The House has given the DOJ a deadline of May 20 to comply.
How to pray about this issue:
For many, this single admission from Smith’s team probably calls into question everything we’ve been told about the special counsel’s investigations into the former president. Pray, above all else, that the truth would be revealed, and that all lies and deceptions would be dispelled.

I agree with Richard.
Although I hope and pray that those who have been treasonous will call on the name of the LORD and be saved, I believe that they should be punished to the fullest extent of the law- publicly- in order to prevent this from happening again for a VERY long time.
We, as a nation need to see justice and truth in-order to to bring closure to this low point in our nation’s history.

The same spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwell in His ekklesia, his bride and he has given His body His authority over the gates of Hades here on Earth and in the second heaven. We as the ekklesia have the marshal’s badge here on Earth and have been given supernatural authority from our King. No king but Jesus.
