I Prayed have prayed
Father, according to the dictates of Deuteronomy 16 and the U.S. Constitution, we have fulfilled our role as citizens of the United States of America by casting our votes for men and women to lead us.
Reading Time: 3 minutes

You shall appoint for yourself judges and officers in all your towns which the LORD your God is giving you, according to your tribes, and they shall judge the people with righteous judgment. You shall not distort justice, you shall not show partiality; and you shall not accept a bribe, because a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and distorts the words of the righteous. Justice, and only justice, you shall pursue, so that you may live and possess the land which the LORD your God is giving you. (Dt 16:18-20)

The Declaration of Independence is the cornerstone document of our country. It eloquently declares the rights and liberties granted all men by their Creator, and the fundamental right of the people to establish their preferred system of government and to hold accountable those who lead them.

The primary objective of the document is to present an itemized delineation of the colonists’ grievances before the King of England. Some of these grievances were more important than others, and some more widespread. But many were tied in with the widespread belief that there should be no taxation without representation. This idea, of course, is what precipitated the Boston Tea Party.

The battle we are fighting in this election cycle has its basis in the same principle. As tax-paying American citizens, we are entitled (by divine right and Constitutional law) to representation in the halls of government. And the primary manner in which that representation is manifested is through the orderly, peaceful and properly adjudicated election of our leaders. As the Lord states in Deuteronomy 16, it is the role of the people to appoint their leaders, and the role of the leaders to pursue justice.

The right of suffrage is the bedrock of our republic, and the sanctity of the vote must be protected at all costs. If Congress and the courts willingly allow an egregious usurpation of the electoral process to alter the outcome of the popular vote (whether for President or for any elected office), then the representative republic gifted to us by our forefathers has fundamentally ceased to exist. Our leaders have sworn an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. Regardless of political party, those leaders unwilling to contend for the purity of the electoral process are subverting both the Constitution and the will of the people, and are no longer fit for, or worthy of, public office.

If our forefathers were willing to pledge their lives, fortunes, and sacred honor to purchase this right for themselves and the generations to follow, then we must be prepared to do the same.

Father, according to the dictates of Deuteronomy 16 and the U.S. Constitution, we have fulfilled our role as citizens of the United States of America by casting our votes for men and women to lead us. As intercessors, we have also fulfilled Your mandate in 1 Timothy 2 to pray for our President and those in authority. The integrity and ultimate outcome of this election now rests upon the shoulders of those very same elected and appointed officials.

We pray that You would grant courage, conviction and strength to our President, Vice-President, representatives, senators and judges to perform JUSTICE regardless of their own political futures or personal well-being. Countless lives were lost, bodies broken, fortunes ruined and families devastated to win our freedom and liberties; we beseech You not to allow corrupt and compromised politicians to take these precious rights from us in their quest for power, money and control. May truth and righteousness prevail in Washington today and in the coming weeks!

Amen

This is what the LORD says: “Maintain justice and do what is right, for my salvation is close at hand and my righteousness will soon be revealed.”  (Is 56:1)

Dig deeper in God’s word. The answers are there. His Word is a double edged sword. Speak it out. His Word is TRUTH! Are we listening? Oh, Lord hear our 😢

Thank you so much Kurt. This is simple & straightforward yet profound knowing political leaders in all levels & branches of our government have failed to ensure that the legitimate grievances are heard. Profound because if this article were presented before a righteous authority they would in no way turn aside. One would reasonably think the realities to which you spoke & which many have endured would have been addressed! Yet we the people have been defrauded without the just representation. The attempts for that have been anything but orderly, peaceful or properly adjudicated, rather, chaotically because law was not followed, fearfully with citizens threatened, & wholly improperly with suppression of all evidence! If nothing comes out of the efforts attempted on Jan 6, I struggle to believe there will ever be another chance to truly call our country a Constitutional Republic. It will be business as usual with prolonged years of ever striving to get justice inside of a very corrupted system. I cannot see how, without the Lord’s strong & obvious intervention, that I could submit to those many Unworthy, unfaithful & illegitimate leaders in their ungodly pursuits.
How do we go forward without your help Oh Lord?! We cannot. Uphold us with Your Righteous right hand! Be our vanguard & rearguard. If our voices are Yours, let Your voice of authority be heard!!

Lord bring forth and raise up men & women of courage. Those who are willing to give everything, in servitude, for their fellow citizens. We are at the gate Lord and we see evil posing as “representation” – forsaking what they swore to uphold. We need warriors who do not care about what they say or how they say it but those who are willing to carry a sword of action to fight for the freedoms you gave this nation Lord.
God help us in this hour of need. In your name we pray amen.

Kurt Nauck, Thank you for this helpful and encouraging article.
Thank you all for the prayers.
Thank you Lord for your word and the wonderful words of Gabriel to Mary after telling her of the soon to come virgin Birth of Jesus, recorded in Luke 1:37 KJV, “For with God nothing shall be impossible.”
Thank you Lord that “nothing is too difficult or too wonderful” for the Lord.
Thank you Lord for this sweet account of Sarah standing in the door of the tent.
You are truly Lord the God who can do more than we ask or imagine.
Genesis 18:9-15 Amplified
9. Then they said to him, “Where is Sarah your wife?” And he said, “There, in the tent.”
10. He said, “I will surely return to you at this time next year; and behold, Sarah your wife will have a son.” And Sarah was listening at the tent door, which was behind him.
11. Now Abraham and Sarah were old, well advanced in years; she was past [the age of] childbearing.
12. So Sarah laughed to herself [when she heard the Lord’s words], saying, “After I have become old, shall I have pleasure and delight, my lord (husband) being also old?”
13. And the Lord asked Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh [to herself], saying, ‘Shall I really give birth [to a child] when I am so old?’
14. Is anything too difficult or too wonderful for the Lord? At the appointed time, when the season [for her delivery] comes, I will return to you and Sarah will have a son.”
15. Then Sarah denied it, saying, “I did not laugh”; because she was afraid. And He (the Lord) said, “No, but you did laugh.”
May God continue to bless America with liberty and justice for all. May our nation continue to be a free platform from which the Great Commission can still be launched at home and abroad. May we always have compassion for the societal needs here and around the world and do what we can to meet those needs, like as the Good Samaritan. Lord help us in this present discourse about our election integrity and transparency. We ask you to guide us to the true results of this election. Help us come together in good discourse to reach this correct and accurate outcome in peaceful accord with sound election processes going forward.
In His love.

Oh Lord, my God,
Rescue us from those who wish to destroy this country who loves you.
Foil the plans of those who are working intensely to ruin this nation. Reveal all the corruption and lies so the truths will be known. This I ask in the Holy Name of Jesus.

Lord God,

We praise You and recognize Your sovereign power over all things. Thank You for Your Word and how You have revealed Yourself and Your desire for intimacy with us through it and through the life of Jesus Christ! We are confident that You are at work drawing many to Yourself and encouraging the weary saints. We serve and praise the One True God who never slumbers nor sleeps (Ps 121:4). We trust in the One who is faithful to fulfill all He has promised (1 Thess 5:24). Lord, move in this land! Move through this nation. Take back what the enemy has destroyed and restore truth and righteousness. Whatever is Your will, may it be done! Grant us hearts of compassion and repentance as we live among many who hate and despise You! Let their hearts be softened as they are drawn by Your Spirit. We ask in Jesus Name! Amen

The Lord reminded me of an important scripture last week that I think should be a new qualification for anyone seeking elected office. Psalm 119:11. Every candidate must have a predetermined number of scriptures memorized. ❤️

Lord – What am I doing about this matter? Am I even concerned? Does this matter to me? and more importantly how does this affect my children and my grandchildren? This is a battle that I MUST stand for – if I don’t I will deserve and become complicit in the destruction of our freedoms, in all ways that we and my posterity love and cherish.
Almighty God, Father of our Lord Jesus, I do not have the strength within myself to endure, much less resist. Thankfully I am reminded that it is “not by might or by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts.” You also tell me “Fear not, for I AM with you; be not dismayed, for I AM your God, I will strengthen you, yes I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” Zech. 4:6, Isaiah 41:10
Lord, by Your amazing grace, prepare me to be an instrument of your will, willingly from the heart obeying your every wish and command, bringing honor and praise to You and You alone. Let it be done to, and through me as you have beforehand determined. Amen

Another prayer which I call the power prayer:
Lord, create in me a loving, forgiving, humble faith,
To righteously believe,
To effectively and fervently pray,
To boldly proclaim Your glorious gospel,
And to witness in and through me the fulfillment of Your Kingdom come,
Your will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven,
This is my joy.

Thank you for this comment and prayer.
The concept of asking God about what is actually true about us
is what is missing in the world today. We hear “experts” telling God
what He has to do and we present ourselves as such righteous ones that
we can actually know more than God does!!! This is missing the mark.

Here is Psalm 25 in the Amplified that I use as a prayer daily, more than once.
“Unto You, Oh Lord, do I bring my life.
I trust You; lean on You, rely on You and
    I am confident in You!
Let me not be put to shame or my hope in You be disappointed.
Let not my enemies triumph over me.
Let none who wait for You, hopefully and confidently, be put to shame,
or their hope in You be disappointed.
Let those who forsake the right and deal treacherously without cause
be put to shame and be disappointed.
Teach me your ways; He teaches the humble His ways!
Show me Your paths; All His paths are mercy and steadfast love!”
    Amen.
Because it is not all about us; but it is all about Him!
