As the House considers a reauthorization of a prominent surveillance program, its members have argued over when warrants should be required for searches. The lower of chamber of Congress is set to vote on these warrant requirements Wednesday, December 6, 2023.
From POLITICO. The House Judiciary Committee is set to unveil its bid to revise a controversial surveillance program that’s set to expire in just a few weeks.

The new legislation would require a warrant to search for any American’s information under Section 702, according to draft text obtained by POLITICO, which is meant to target foreigners abroad but in the process sweeps in citizens’ communications. The current program does not require a warrant when that occurs.

The Judiciary bill would require a warrant for U.S person searches under the surveillance authority. But the warrant requirement has exceptions built in, including for “emergency situations,” if an individual has consented to the search or some cybersecurity-related searches. …
The bill’s warrant requirement is significantly broader than a forthcoming bill from the Intelligence Committee, which is expected to only require a warrant in the case of “evidence of a crime” searches, which are not related to foreign intelligence and make up only a small slice of searches.
The intelligence community, and its allies on Capitol Hill, have warned that a broader warrant requirement like the one in the Judiciary bill would make the surveillance authority unworkable and undermine a critical national security resource. …

The Constitution works for the citizens of the United States with an understood law known as “the castle rule”. Government may not invade my home or my property. It seems that many in power overlook or neglect the Constitution and our form of government that is for the people and by the people.
Biden as put in place by “evil forces”. Their intention to destroy America and personal freedom. Surprise, God is actually in charge of America. We shall be restored. Vote no on all Biden agendas. The weakness has made America a joke to the world. We need to go back to States rights, personal freedom and privacy. Speak softly and carry a big stick; you will go far: Theodore Roosevelt.
If you have not read “Praying for Government” by Derek Prince In partnership with IFA, I urge you to do so. Derek articulates well the strong belief I have held that “God’s people” includes born again believers, not just Israel. If true believers do not take the time to HUMBLE THEMSELVES, and PRAY, and SEEK MY FACE, and TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS, then God will not do His part in healing their land. Instead He will send drought, plagues and other spankings.
There is obviously a big spanking taking place in America, as well as most nations today.

Catching bad guys should be the priority, not law abiding citizens. Right now America does not trust the DOJ or FBI to be honest. All efforts should be on fixing the Justice Department first! Regain America’s trust, then we might be more inclined to trust surveillance efforts.

We pray that your sovereign will be seen by all. Our country so desperately needs to return to faith in the King of kings and the Lord of lord. We pray that you encourage and empower those in government who are standing for the truth.
I strongly disapprove of a government sponsored surveillance program. Do we want to become like China? Absolutely NOT; however, if we are not careful that is exactly what will happen. Where is this push for this coming from? Is this another prong from the current Administration?
This has to be stopped and voted down. There is such abuse of power from the DOJ, FBI and other governmental agencies and we don’t need the government running our personal lives and spying on it’s citizens. I pray in the Name of Jesus this be stopped and stopped NOW!!

Israel needs to ignore Biden completely and destroy Hamas and their supporters. Pro-Hamas protesters in public disturbances of the peace here in the USA belong in jail. Mass arrests and jailing of treasonous protestors and other troublemakers supporting Hamas are needed to restore public confidence in our government; pro-Hamas members of Congress, the cabinet, and other federal positions need to be impeached or fired. The federal judiciary needs a complete enema to get prosecutors like Alvin Bragg, Letitia James, and Willis fired and disbarred, and judges like Chutkan and Engoron removed from the bench and disbarred.
I feel that the government has over reached its authority. They do not need to be spying on Americans without a search warrant. I also believe that the FBI has too much power and needs to be dismantled.

Biden and every member of his administration and their supporters are heathen and incorrigible. I’ve been praying for the total demise of Biden and his administration, and the elections cannot come soon enough. I pray that Israel will ignore everything Biden tells the world, and take steps to eradicate Hamas and every country supporting Hamas and their barbarians. Carter was a wimp and failed to deal with Iran harshly in 1979, and heathen Biden is the worst of the worst. The Israeli air force needs to dump railroad car after railroad car of napalm on Gaza and any other country financing or supporting Hamas. The only way to stop terrorism is bring the terror of fire to terrorist supporting countries, and burn out everything in its path, no exceptions, and never negotiate with hostage takers. Make countries supporting hostage taking a giant ashtray.
They need to abolish the the FISA Court and the Warrantless surveillance act. It is crystal clear that the Government cannot be trusted to manage such a dangerous responsibility as the FISA warrant and FISA Court. It did not take them long to abuse the privilege of such a dangerous tool. They were so abusive that they refused to acknowledge that they abused it and they are seriously looking for opportunities to use it again, because it worked so well for them all the times that they have used it and it is so hard to prosecute anyone fir abusing it. Abolish it immediately, it is Unconstitutional.
