I Prayed have prayed
Father God, thank You for the power of the Holy Spirit at work in our midst, in Washington and around the country. We trust You for victory for the lives of the preborn in America. May Your will be done.
Reading Time: 2 minutes

IFA has gathered with intercessors from around the country, and even the world, to pray for life just steps away from the U.S. Supreme Court. You can sense the spiritual atmosphere on the steps of the Supreme Court as they heard arguments in the case of Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health.

We estimate that pro-life advocates outnumber pro-abortion advocates by about 10 to 1. We were particularly moved and stirred by hundreds of Liberty University students led by Morse Tan, the new dean of their law school, who was awarded a Champion of Life commendation by IFA last night.

Some of the scores of Liberty University students who came on more than 20 buses to stand up for life in DC.

If you missed the oral arguments, you can watch and pray here.

Here are some impressions from intercessors in attendance at IFA’s event who prayed throughout the crowds gathered in front of the Supreme Court:

Becky shared a vision of President George Washington and others with the impression that the blood of the forefathers is crying out.

Nina shared that the Lord impressed her group to pray that Roe would come down the way the walls of Jericho came down. As they were praying that, they met a woman who had been walking around the Supreme Court building numerous times.

Prayer:

God, we bow before You and declare we have nothing besides You. Consecrate us, Lord, and prepare us. Take this walled city of lies and deception that is Roe v. Wade. When You destroy these walls, we declare we will shout victory for you Lord God. Let the walls come down, Jesus!

Roy shared that he looked at the sky in the midst of the demonstration and saw that it was clear. His impression was that things were clear and that the Court would have clarity.

Prayer:

Holy Spirit, settle on these 9 justices and their staffs. Lord, may they receive Your message from Your courts.

Thousands of people gathered in front of the Supreme Court building before, during, and after the Dobbs arguments.

What are you hearing from the Lord? Please share in the comments.

Abortion is the poisoned fruit of a diseased tree. While I am wholly for life and against the killing babies on every level — I am grieved we have lost the conversation on sexual ethics in the public square We can partly thank the 60’s for that. Because in this murderous equation of abortion, whose resultant is always a dead baby, there is far too little scrutiny on why this diseased tree is producing so many unwanted pregnancies to begin with. Why is reckless, irresponsible, unprotected sex the given in this hellish equation? Abortion is not a right and it is not healthcare. It is predominately a gruesome form of birth control. “Our Father, we know that in your sight, life does not begin at conception. Each life, in Your eyes, began long before the foundations of this Earth were laid. We pray that a righteous ruling of Justice be rendered by this court, and that a revival would sweep through our land and restore self-control, patience and purity. May we be holy as You are holy.” Amen

And… No matter what the outcome – , I must remember,-and I hope we remember- that we have to employ the battle strategies of our enemies ..and that is to dig our heels in- and just keep fighting- as though we lost . and just keep going ..we cannot rest.
I know many of you here know this but I need to hear it for myself.

“Justice Sonia Sotomayor rejected the idea that a fetus that has the ability to move and react to pain is a human life that should be protected from abortion.” “Sotomayor also said that she believes the idea that a fetus is a human life is a “religious view.” foxnews.com

Dear Heavenly Father, You say, “Is not My word like fire, and like a hammer that smashes a rock into pieces?” Sonia Sotomayor has heard many words spoken in defense of the unborn. I pray from this moment forward The Word speaks to her throughout the night in a personal way. May The Word bring her to Godly sorrow, repentance and salvation. May The Word burn through her heart and mind and smash her ungodly views to pieces. Father, I so humbly plead for Your intervention in this woman’s heart, now. I ask this and so much more in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen

Our watch group had several impressions. We awoke to fiery colored skies and felt Ps.68 – that the Lord was a consuming fire burning up His enemies. We also heard ‘fire, water and blood’ and took communion, applying His forgiveness to each justice and former Supreme Courts who had passed unjust, unholy laws. We saw a dance break out in front of Supreme Court and heard the Miriam song from Exodus. The Lord wants us to thank Him now for what He is doing and going to do!

Oh Dear God, and I do thank You!. You say, ” Even from eternity I am He, and none can deliver out of My hand. When I act, who can reverse it?” In this case against death, I pray deliverance.

Greetings fellow intercessors,
I had a little bit of trouble hearing a clear audio on the webcast so I had to locate another and by the time I did it was about 9:20 a.m. CST. A female justice was speaking. By the tone of her voice and her discussion, the following parable came to mind. When the petitioner’s attorney spoke, I believe he used the word “punted.” At about 9:40 CST, the same female justice was speaking to the respondent’s attorney and used the word “adversary.”
The Parable of the Persistent Widow
18 And he told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart.
2 He said, “In a certain city there was a judge who neither feared God nor respected man. 3 And there was a widow in that city who kept coming to him and saying, ‘Give me justice against my adversary.’ 4 For a while he refused, but afterward he said to himself, ‘Though I neither fear God nor respect man, 5 yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will give her justice, so that she will not beat me down by her continual coming.’” 6 And the Lord said, “Hear what the unrighteous judge says. 7 And will not God give justice to his elect, who cry to him day and night? Will he delay long over them? 8 I tell you, he will give justice to them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?” (Luke 18:1-8, ESV) https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=luke+18&version=ESV.

I understand that there has been Roe v. Wade, a Casey case and now, Dobbs. This looks like the “kept coming” and “her continual coming” above. Also, the Greek meaning of the words “fear” and “respect” are worth looking up.
Camille stated at prayer time that although the oral arguments have been heard, this case is not over and a decision should be made by Friday. I am encouraged and looking to and praying those many scriptures on “hope.”

Thank you for not growing weary in being challenged to get a signal..being left out is my greatest downfall of growing discouraged.
