I Prayed have prayed
You give life, You are love, You bring light to the darkness! You give hope, You restore, every heart that is broken! Great are You, Lord!
Reading Time: 2 minutes

For those who have been feeling overwhelmed, oppressed, and sensing the heaviness in the atmosphere, there is a soul-sucking spirit that is trying to stifle our voice, suffocate our praise, and steal our promise and hope. The words “I can’t breathe” were born out of real pain and suffering, but the devil has now taken those words and opened a door to demonic oppression over this nation!

The work of Leviathan is at work in the hearts and minds of those who have fallen for a trap. Words are powerful agents in the spirit and when collective cries are uttered in the open, it gives him the right to do the very thing we speak. “I can’t breathe” has given the devil permission to bring even greater heaviness to those who have been fighting for a voice and gasping for a chance at life. Those words must be replaced with the promise of heaven’s touch.

This is what the Sovereign LORD says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life. I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the LORD. – Ezekiel 37:5-6

We must cry out for the Spirit of the Living God to BREATHE ON US! We must prophesy to the souls of those who are broken and call forth the breath of God to raise them up! Jesus breathed on His disciples when they were hidden in fear and oppressed by their enemies (John 20:22). It is only the breath of heaven that can truly restore our souls, revive our spirits, and give us the life we so desperately long for. It is only the Spirit of God that can shed light on injustice and reconcile the lost to Himself.

Do not align yourself with the enemy’s twisted version of justice, but rather declare that it is the breath of the Living God that will set us free from the suffocating bondage of the beast from the deep. Lift high the praises of Him who breathed the earth into existence and life into our souls. May our lungs be filled with HIS praise alone!

“You give life, You are love, You bring light to the darkness! You give hope, You restore, every heart that is broken! Great are You, Lord! It’s Your breath in our lungs, so we pour out our praise, we pour out our praise! It’s Your breath in our lungs, so we pour out our praise to You only!” (“Great Are You Lord”)

We must remember that what we feed is what we live so if we feed on false media reports and lies and we will begin to spiral down into that hole where they’re all sitting and waiting for their next evil move. But we as Christians must not choose to do that we don’t get into the hole with the Enemy to take them out we stand and pray and extend our hand to pull that person out of the hole so our places to pray and stand on the word of God right now. The Lord is opening the eyes of the people all around the world as to what is really happening because the truth is being told and the banner of Truth is what God wants Over All Peoples of the earth especially those who are following after his footsteps. I thank God for the people who have sites that are giving us insight to encourage us and too often times confirm what God is showing us in our prayer times. It is not a time to slack off it is a time to stay Before the Throne Room calling on the name of the Lord asking for wisdom and direction. We must continue to be about our father’s business and that means reconciliation repairing the breach and declaring the Gospel of Jesus Christ the savior of all mankind he doesn’t care what gender they are wood Creed they are what colour they are he came to die so all could be saved and be part of the family of God. I believe there’s a scripture that says God never thought things would get so terrible and here we are experiencing it ourself never mind reading it in the pages of the Bible it is happening right here and now but With God all things are possible Heavenly Father we look to you again today and we asked you that you order our steps for we are your people we declare your name over the countries in the nations of the world we asked you father to forgive us where we have failed the Mandate that you have laid out before us to follow. Help us to love and pray and serve and give but how this to be Discerning and help us to walk in the gifts of the Spirit and the Fruit of the Spirit by the power of the mighty Holy Spirit who you sent do Comfort it teach us and guide us.
God bless all of the media Outlets who bring encouraging messages and the truth amen and God bless the United States of America their president their people and all those who stand in opposition of the plans of the enemy Open the Eyes of My Heart Lord we want to see righteousness exalts it in every nation on the face of the Earth amen

Amen to you Wanda! I have seen a waive of dis-couragment in my prayer circles!
Take up courage! Put on the armor of God, Ephesians 6!
Where sin abounds, GRACE DOES MORE ABOUND!
We are on the winning side! Lift up our voices IN ONE ACCORD and shout to the Lord praise and honor due His name.
The battle is not mine, it’s the Lord’s!
Raise a Hallelujah today!!

Tiffany, I am so sorry that you feel that way and that you are hurting. Don’t be duped by the narrative being blasted over the airwaves. There is another narrative being offered up as incense to our Heavenly Father from those of us that know there is only one race – the human race. We cannot reject anyone with a different color of skin because we would be rejecting ourselves part of our own body. IFA does care and does offer many platforms- you had an opportunity to post your feelings. Stay ever so close to Jesus through His Holy Spirit within you- the same spirit that lives within me and the whole body of Christ. Not so long ago this nation elected a black president and he served for eight years. A racist nation would never have done that. There may be other statistics that your news source is not providing you. Do not attack your brothers and sisters who are working alongside you. It is the enemy’s plan to divide us but thankfully we are not unaware of his schemes.

Correction: It wasn’t “I can’t breathe” that gave the devil permission. It was a knee on a man’s neck.

God allowed that evil act to reveal the twisted justice that has been taking place since the beginning of this nation. It never went away, just adapted with the times.

Let me make something very clear, black Christians have always forgiven, always turned the other cheek, always loved those who hate us.

We are a conservative, hardworking, family oriented people, who live by faith. I don’t care what you have heard or what stereotypes fill your heads. Jesus is everything to us.

If IFA truly cared about what is happening in the church, it would seek opportunities to unite the body of Christ through prayer, fasting and creating opportunities for differing views to talk.

Anything else, gives the devil permission to manipulate and separate the people of God…and he is doing it here and now, in this community.

God does what He needs to. He is to be glorified and honored and only those who trust Him truly prosper. He distinguishes in His Word between many things, male and female, husband and wife, human and animal, classes, Jew and Gentile, divides us as saved and unsaved, believer or unbeliever, free or enslaved, clean or unclean, evil and pure, slave to sin or slave to righteousness (Christ’s, not our own). John 3:16 says He loves the whole world if we believe that to be true, how should we act? The Bible is clear that Christ died once for ALL. There are those who sow discord and those who bring peace. God does not show favoritism but accepts from every nation the one who fears Him and does what is right (Acts 10:34). The devil wants us to believe it’s “them” not me, God wants us to remember that within the heart of EVERYONE is the inclination to do evil and it is because of His mercy, grace and His loving heart displayed at the Cross that can say to ourselves “but for the grace of God, go I.” We, the believing Church, are free to move away from worldly rhetoric and prejudices of any kind, the devil’s tool of racial division (“race” is not a biblical construct, but a social identifier man decided to use, God did not tell anyone to do it that way). I for one with African American parentage have been raised and raise my children to judge others by the content of their character…not everyone chooses to do that.
As for anything else, as believers who love honor and cherish the beauty in the diversity of God’s creation, this is our perspective stated from Jesus Himself-[ The World Hates the Disciples ] “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first.-John 15:18
I agree the church needs to rise up. We need to share the gospel truth and love of God through Christ…that’s what we need to contribute to conversations with others more than anything else because that’s their need, that’s how we love God and love others better than ourselves… It’s okay to share our opinions, but sometimes our opinions distract from the very important message and good news of God…in my opinion 🙂

I agree that it is the gospel that we need to share with everyone. John 3:16. God wants to convert all of our sick hearts and sanctify us daily…also want to note that the evil one is using this to turn our attention from Antifa etc. and their scheme to usurp our country. I like IFA. It is informative and helps me pray. thank you.

I’m so sorry, Tiffany. Your words, “God allowed that evil act to reveal the twisted justice that has been taking place since the beginning of this nation. It never went away, just adapted with the times.” are spot on. We are now in a Civil War, and this time, God will have His way with the injustice that minorities have had to endure. As a white woman, I have so much more to learn regarding these things, but I am willing to do so. I hope and pray that all of us as “THE Church” repent and change our minds to agree with what is on God’s heart.

    Hi Tiffany,
I went back and looked at what Wanda Alger had written after reading your comment.
Her statement was “the words ‘I can’t breathe’ were born out of real pain and suffering”. . .
She was not minimizing the wrong or injustice but she was highlighting how the enemy takes our wounds and uses them to advance his agenda.
It was a good reminder for me to keep seeking to be filled with the breath (Spirit) of God and speaking aloud words of His redemption and peace. The foundation of His throne is righteousness and justice and we pray for His will to be done here on Earth as it is in Heaven.

The words to this old hymn came to my mind while reading this article. When I was growing up, we sang this all the time at my church ❤️

Breathe on me, Breath of God,
fill me with life anew,
that I may love the way you love,
and do what you would do.

Breathe on me, Breath of God,
until my heart is pure,
until my will is one with yours,
to do and to endure.

Breathe on me, Breath of God,
so shall I never die,
but live with you the perfect life
for all eternity.

Happy Saturday
