Education in America is like a ship that set sail 60 years ago on a voyage to bring this nation to a Marxist revolution. Certainly, many educators have been working toward that end, and some are happy about what they’ve accomplished as the ship nears its destination. These educators have no use for actually teaching academics, as that would not advance their cause. For Christians, the only way out of this dire situation is to engage in the spiritual warfare that is necessary to drive out these demonic forces that have taken charge. We must understand how we came to embark on this ill-fated journey if we are to pray successfully for a reversal.
Join others crying out to the Lord day and night.
The radical youth of the 1960s and ’70s took to the streets and college campuses in huge numbers to engage in political mass protests. They detested and rejected capitalism and traditional American values in favor of communist revolution. Often under the influence of drugs that only fueled their hatred for this nation, they turned from any form of peaceful protest toward violent ones.
Hostile Marxist and communist organizations were everywhere, with names like the Weather Underground (originally, the Weathermen), the Black Panthers, and the Red Army Faction. In the two years between 1969 and 1970, they committed multiple crimes, including robbing banks, killing police officers, and setting off 4,330 bombs. To stop the chaos, then California Governor Ronald Reagan was instrumental in the FBI infiltrating these groups to find the perpetrators of these crimes, make arrests, and imprison them.
The nation breathed a sigh of relief as peace returned to the college and university campuses. Our streets became calm again too. With the worst over, the nation rested. But communist revolution is a hungry monster and unless dealt with on a spiritual level, does not go away. It withdraws into the shadows, only to reemerge at a more opportune time. A closer look at where the revolutionaries went to hide and bide will give us some insight into how we can pray.
So, where did these revolutionaries go once they abandoned their violent lifestyles? Brown University professor Paul Buhle gives the best answer in his book Marxism in the United States. Buhle writes: “To the question: ‘Where did all the sixties radicals go?,’ the most accurate answer would be: neither to religious cults nor yuppie-dom, but to the classroom.”
The revolutionaries cleaned up, dressed up, and entered American classrooms in two phases: First, they entered classrooms as students — at Ivy League universities, to obtain degrees, mainly in law and social sciences, that would help them further their revolutionary aims. Second, they began entering classrooms as teachers and professors — effectively becoming change agents to teach the wonders of Marxist communism to American youth.
It was that second option that enabled those radicals to implement what Rudi Dutschke, a German sociologist and political activist, termed in 1967 “the long march through the institutions” — a play on communist revolutionary Mao Zedong’s Long March of the Red Army, during the Chinese Civil War. Modern Western radicals were now employing a new strategy for revolution — not by rioting, but by subverting capitalist society through a new status as professionals: in education, business, and civil service. And a new breed of “nonviolent” leaders, such as Herbert Marcuse (author of Critical Race Theory) and Pablo Freire (author of Pedagogy of the Oppressed), would show the way.
Two of those who cleaned up, dressed up, and went to college were Bernardine Dohen and Bill Ayers, the husband and wife who had co-founded the Weather Underground. Their radical activities had resulted in multiple criminal charges, including murder. They were never convicted, however, thanks to a technical mishap in the processing of the evidence. After years as fugitives, the couple emerged from hiding to become university professors in Chicago.
As author Christopher Rufo has written in his recent book, America’s Cultural Revolution: How the Radical Left Conquered Everything, this “long march” through the universities makes it appear that the radical left has won: “The American university is now a ‘counter institution’ driven by the ideology of the New Left and the critical theories. One researcher found the ratio of liberal to conservative faculty reaching 8:1 in political science, 17:1 in history, 44:1 in sociology, 48:1 in English, and 108:0 in race and gender studies.”
Today, these ostensibly “cleaned-up” radicals stand at the head of our college and K-12 classrooms, where they can control the hearts and minds of the next generation.

YES!! Put on the full armor of God for all students from preschool to college. This is all out spiritual warfare against Satan and the Iron Curtain from long ago! We can all things through Christ who gives us strength 💪!!!
I am a retired elementary/middle school teacher that received no communism teaching in my undergraduate classes to get my degree! However, GOD had me go on to get a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Teacher Leadership and boy was I shocked! Every class except Media was nothing but marxism and communism or both with a smattering of Green “fake” energy crisis thrown in the mix! I would ask why we were studying systems that both failed and murdered millions along the way! I would be told that they had good ideas! I would say “how would we know since they all failed?” I got my Master’s in 2000 and spread the word about the Master’s program not understanding how long this had been going on in Colleges and Universities. I immediately began suggesting that parents pull their children out of public schools and send them to vetted private schools or to homeschool them. GOD had told me to teach my children at home so they were already being homeschooled in 2000. I now do not recommend college to any student. I recommend trade schools or being a carpenter, welder, etc. FATHER GOD please wake parents up en mass and let them remove their children out of public schools in JESUS NAME!

I am a grandmother of five grandchildren. I’ve listened and watched what was happening to children’s education. My oldest granddaughter has just entered college, and I found out that the college she chose is very liberal. I lift her up in prayer asking that God would strengthen her and keep her strong in her faith, and that she’ll find godly friends at school. thank you for educating people about what’s really going on.
Excellent summary. I might add 2 books: The Devil and Karl Marx and Race Communism. The first is an easier read but one of the best books I have read on communism and how it evolved from an economic to a cultural threat. The second is a difficult read but very detailed in explanation of how things came to be. What started as an economic threat which flopped evolved into a cultural and moral threat. They could not beat us economically but hit us in our weakest points: mind and souls through the educational process. Elliminate God and replace with the devil! We better pray, and be prepared to be part of the prayer!

Your Divine Love burning Truth within seeking answers to questions that are difficult to formulate but You are changing hearts. It is good to read that quite a few people here are finally waking up in their assessment of what is going on. So while an enlightenment of the situation in America’s classrooms is finally being reached.. could we now finally be aware enough to have mercy on our own children- and remove them from the public schools- as they are not benefiting at all being there- but are the victims of the Warfare- that is going on- and are being wounded mentally emotionally and spiritually in many cases Beyond repair. You are not helping your children by leaving them in public schools. This is not a commentary on the quality of any teachers.. but an observation of the reality of everything that is being explained in this column here today.
In the late 60’s early 70’s my mother was a member of The John Birch Society. We had a bumper sticker that said “Get the US Out Of The UN” and “Support Your Local Police.” I was young and we didn’t own a gun but she told me never give up your rights to own a gun, I didn’t understand at the time but I do now. She taught me about the dangers of the CCP Satanic Death Dragon, the Black Panther clenched fist Communists that sold the Little Red Book for a $1 to buy guns, the drug movement and the Vietnam war how it was a break down of young people then. While soldiers were being deployed they had access to drugs, not all took part, along with those still here in the US to break down a whole generation and it worked as we see today, it was all full of chaos and a distraction. We fought Communism to become a Communist country??? We see the damage today, my oldest sister that thinks policemen are sawed off “F”ing Nazi’s. My mother died when I was 17 and I never forgot a thing she said, she’d be fuming today. It’s amazing to see how the CCP has progressed in this country as she said would happen. I’m not shocked, I hoped we wouldn’t see it in our time but she was right. Before President Trump ran he was on now FAUX news, supporters of the Satanic Temple and other Woke abominations today. (I watch Newsmax and RAV ever since the night of the election) He spoke about the dangers of the CCP. Every time I heard he was going to be on with Greta I tuned in to hear what he had to say. I told myself, he knows what I was taught so when he ran I supported him 100%. Never bow to the Satanic CCP Death Dragon, President Trump never did or will. Remember, if he doesn’t win we have to endure the consequences as it’s written and know we’re safe. There’s going to be battles won and lost until the end of the world.
Something that was first taught in the bible teaching I follow was prove all things. With this Trump fiasco, something I’ve been thinking about lately is:

President Trump supports Law and Order, something our laws are based on is “Prove all things!” I hope this helps to understand the Law system is supposed to have evidence and PROOF, it’s biblical!
I took a socialogy 100 level freshman course for total credit hours at Western Michigan University in 1980 as I thought it would be an interesting course which was taught by two grad students who openly professed they were card caring members of the communist party, I was a little older than the others at almost age 24 and didn’t believe their trash, other students were probably only about 18 right out of high school and more vulnerable, I felt bad for them to believe that garbage, I didn’t say anything just didn’t take that trash to heart. I wasn’t a christian then. Wonder why we are where we are in America today 43 years later?!
The Communist infiltration of America began in 1933 when the Frankfurt School
of Marxism came from Germany to America to infiltrate and take over the government,
news media industry, public education system, entertainment industry, churches, etc.
By the 1950s they had completely taken over the Democratic Party and incorporated
Marxist doctrine into the party platform.

Isn’t it amazing, I saw a documentary years ago about how the Communists were working here while we were fighting the Nazi war and we had practicing Nazi’s in this country at the time.
During WW2, America actively fought against communism and prosecuted known communists/marxists. In fact I believe we had/have laws on the books against communism, marxism, and nazism!
Jack London (Alaskan novelist) joined the Communist Party in 1890. In 1905 he attended a meeting in NYC where they plotted how they could get control of our nation’s universities. Within the next 20 years, they controlled 25. In 1935 Jack London learned how he had been lied to & used all those years. He resigned that same year & devoted the next 4 years to exposing what he knew as an insider. His chauffeur was a personal friend of mine in 1983. Jack was assassinated in such a way that his death was covered up as suicide. Around 1982 I met a Christian refugee from Rhodesia. He informed me that Jimmy Carter was a satanist & communist. Carter placed economic sanctions against Rhodesia during his administration & promised to lift them when they elected a black president. Shortly afterward, they elected a black, born-again Christian. Carter told them this was unacceptable to him & ordered them to elect someone else. They elected a satanist named Mugabe next & Carter lifted the sanctions. Our Marxist-controlled media never reported the whole story about this. We were never told about the first election that Carter didn’t like. My father-in-law met Carter at the WH during the oil crisis because he had evidence to prove the oil companies conspired to create that crisis. I asked him what it was like to meet the president. He said, “It was rather spooky.” I asked what he meant by spooky. He replied, “His smile never reached his eyes. His eyes looked like a black bottomless pit.” Having had confrontations with satanists several times since 1966, I knew God was giving Dad discernment. Carter’s eyes looked like the eyes of a satanist. Because of everything the communists did to get control of most of our nation’s universities by the time of Carter’s administration, Carter created the Ed. Dept., which is unconstitutional, so the communists could then take control of our public schools. I have a photo of Karl Marx standing between Charles Darwin & Cecil Rhodes. They were best friends when they worked for the E. India Co. They committed such atrocities against the Indian people that Queen Victoria abolished the company by royal edict. Darwin got his idea for evolution originally from a doctrine of Hinduism. Evolution is also a doctrine among satanists. Karl Marx was a satanist high priest. He was also a member of the Illuminati, which made plans in the mid-1800’s to enslave the world under communism. Marx’s Manifesto was originally written under the title – The Science of Government – by a Freemason in NYC named Clinton Roosevelt. Because the American people didn’t warm up to his ideas, they were exported to England where Marx picked up the idea & promoted it under a new disguise. When I was growing up during the 1950’s, I was told to revere John Dewey as the Father of Modern Education. Dewey was a member of the Communist Party & moved to Russia after he retired.

Communism really began with Karl Marx and his Manifesto, written in 1848, and was installed in Russia during the Bolshevik Revolution when they overthrew the Czar and killed his family. The descendants of these people migrated to the United States and brought their belief system with them. They really are against Capitalism and Christianity. Karl Marx said his two goals were to “Destroy Capitalism” and “Dethrone God” – And these are their Goals as well. They Hate God with a Passion!
So it is all about radicals who do not want to be under their Creator’s Commandments. They will do everything that they can to destroy “Good” and install “Evil”! I want to start at the grassroots level, though. I pray for a mighty move of Your Holy Spirit in and among our children. I pray for their salvation, deliverance, healing, and discipling. Raise up bold leaders among them who know You, and want to make You known. This problem can’t be solved by the efforts of humans. Only by God’s Spirit can we take back the educational system and even if we do manage, by praying into His Will, to defeat the enemy’s inroads on that level, we will need continuous vigil and prayer to prevent his resurgence in the future. We failed our duty as watchmen in allowing the enemy to gain an ascendancy in our educational system. We must be aware of every trick he employs, like “fairness” or “tolerance” to mislead and misrepresent his true goals. Begin with fervent prayer and let the Lord guide us in our actions to take back our schools. We cannot do it by might or power, but we can do anything by the Spirit of the Lord.
A positive in this retaking of the education mountain is a strategic branch of YWAM called Circuit Riders. They began in 2013. They train, and then send teams to universities and high schools all across North America. Their focus is to help, equip, and train college and high school students to be effective missionaries in their college or high school. During the spring of 2023, 15 teams established post covid beachheads on approximately 300 colleges and a growing number of high schools. Yes, we pray on. We believe giants fall! We overcome to HIS kingdom outcome.
I say there need to be more private schools and Christian schools. I think more churches need to be involved, and that leaders of denominations need to underline how serious this situation can be. Churches need to realize that their work should go on almost seven days a week, not just one day or two.

Reagan did not become President until 1981. Nixon was President in 1969-1970.
I agree but NOT 100% The Vietnam War was the root of many of protests. The “reasons” given to the American Public for entering that war were not true. Wars are ALWAYS about money in some way shape or form. 50, 000 young men lost their lives fighting an unjust, unrighteous war and those who did returned were never the same. America is not the country founded in 1776. I will continue to pray for the Lord to grant repentance.

Although this article has an academic flavor there are some really good insights like the “Boot camp” and the spiritual battle with the Dalai Lama over the Great Lakes vs Native American Vietnam Veterans.
It was also it was a head on battle with Communism.
Jesus I pray for these “teachers” to repent , give their hearts to You, & stop deceiving children & young people ! Matthew 18:6 tells us “if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone around their neck & to be drowned in the depths of the sea. Whether a parent, student, educator, administrator, PTA member, etc., take it back for Holy Ground. For about $10, ANYONE can join the PTA and be a “Change Agent.” Our tiny sector just prayed around my son’s school before classes started.
Thank you. This is an excellent analysis. It is far past time that we recognize exactly what we are up against. This battle is going to take intense prayer. It is also going to take educated, righteous, and committed followers of Christ to get up from the pews and out into our communities. We must save our children and we cannot wait any longer for pastors to take the lead on this; few will do it. This battle will be led by people like Nancy Huff. It will start with families committed to raising their children in God’s truth, Biblical morality, and excellence in education. It will require home schooling and quality charter schools dedicated to academics and not indoctrination. It will likely mean avoiding communist led 4 year universities where we pay for the demise of our own youth. The societal, social, moral, and spiritual demoralization costs of sending youth to these institutions outweigh the benefits at this juncture. And absolutely, it will require a much longer term commitment to taking back the institutions, to rescuing K-12 public education, and then the universities. This must start with courageous Christ centered families and move upward through small towns and local communities.

God I pray show all these teachers, professors the errors of their ways if they refuse O God remove them from their positions. Give the children in schools boldness to stand up for truth and college students as well! Reveal yourself to each one of them Lord Jesus make yourself real to each one of them! In Jesus mighty name! I can remember a time when porn was not allowed in schools. If schools had sex ed, parents could opt their children out. Parents were kept informed. Religion was allowed in schools. There were optional classes in after school religious instruction, run by various religious institutions. Atheists could organize classes in philosophy or ethics, not mentioning God. Christmas was celebrated as a cultural tradition. Kids of different religions might fight with each other, but usually not over religion. That was in the 50s/late 50s. As I remember, the change in elementary and middle/high schools began in the early 70s – which would be normal if universities were changing before then.
Everything in the 60s was not horrible. But yes, the radical changes did start then. I do see that we need to observe and recognize that, while at the same time acknowledging that some of the activities of the 60s were reactions to things that did need changing. Nothing wrong with cooperation, discussion, and cooperatively dealing with issues. Definitely something wrong with rioting and tyranny.
