The end of 2025 brought an end to the controversial Obamacare tax subsidies that caused a government shutdown in October. On Thursday, however, the House voted to revive and extend these subsidies.

The legislation, which comes after the Affordable Care Act subsidies expired at the end of last year, now heads to the Senate where it is not expected to pass.
The bill passed in a 230-196 split. It comes after nine centrist House Republicans joined with House Democrats Wednesday evening to advance the legislation to a floor vote.
Now that the House has passed the legislation, the subsidies will advance to the Senate. They are not, however, expected to pass the upper chamber.
In September of last year, Democrats in the Senate allowed the government to shut down in a bid to force an extension for these subsidies, which were set to expire at the end of the year. Though the government eventually reopened, Democrats sought a separate vote on the subsidies as a condition to vote with Republicans.
Though these Obamacare subsidies may not be the answer, it is clear our health care system needs reform. Let’s pray for the Trump administration as it works to resolve all issues, and let’s pray for the Senate as it considers this legislation!

Lord, Give revelation and inspiration to all our Congressmen/women to see the disaster and evil that Obamacare is and throw it out once and for all. Open eyes on both parties to see the better options of HSA and letting Americans have their own choices for health care. Most of all, show them how immensely important it is to hold to the Hyde Amendment in all legislation.
As a senior, following a diagnosis of cancer, which the diagnosis alone cost thousands and thousands of dollars (I am still paying co-pays) I am asking GOD for HIS divine intervention in this entire industry. I was given tests, some of which led to very uncomfortable after-effects, but I was still required to pay for them. During one test the doctor forgot to check if the area was numb before piercing my body with her biopsy instrument . . . I didn’t know that I could scream at such a high pitch! Her fee was in the region of $5,000. So I am praying for a total overhaul of the entire USA Health Care system because I can no longer afford USA health care co-pays. Fortunately, I belong to JESUS and I am trusting HIM and HIM alone to decide the length and quality of my life.
Our president still can veto, yes? the health care will not get fixed until Obama care is exposed for fraud. Father what is Your heart on this? I ask that You fix it. Thru truth and not the lie of socialized medicine. my heart breaks knowing Obama wanted communism, and planted the bomb of obamacare. Bring unwarranted, miraculous health to Americans I pray. To all of your children. And GREAT wisdom to Donald Trump, your Cyrus. Thank you that he cares, show him our love and trust! And a better way forward for Healthcare. Not one that the worker class must be further hurt, paying for those who won’t or cannot work. You promised thru Your servant Kim Clement, You say the attemp to bring socialism to Your America!! Ane You declared it will not come. I rest in your Word. Let it be so, for our children and our children’s children. For a thousand generations. I ask in Jesus name Amen.
ACA was a lie when introduced and was a way to control we the people. The demoncrats have sold us out for power now. Woe to them for God’s righteous judgement is coming and His judgement is for eternity. I hope those 9 republicans had good reason for joining evil. I trust in God.

how disappointing. I remember when Obama care first came out and how horribly offensive it was in so many ways and how against what was right and our country it was I have never forgotten that feeling about it and it hasn’t changed it’s just got worse. Lord please open the eyes of our leadership and this nation in Jesus name
