Coca-Cola Confirms Training Employees to ‘Be Less White’

According to Becker News, “After a public relations fiasco, Coca-Cola has effectively conceded that some of its employees participated in a public LinkedIn Learning seminar that advocated that some of its employees be “less white.”

The training curriculum was first exposed on Friday by Dr. Karlyn Borysenko, an organizational psychologist who is working to end the racially divisive ideology of ‘critical race theory.’ . . . .

Since then, mainstream media and left-wing outlets had largely avoided the hot topic. However, Blaze Public Relations’ Chris Pandolfo obtained a statement from Coca-Cola that concedes its employees were told to take the seminar in question.

. . .It is important to note this wording concedes it happened. Furthermore, it is not “inclusive” to attack particular individuals’ racial background; that is, by definition, “exclusive.”

The LinkedIn Learning class, called “Confronting Racism, with Robin DiAngelo,” is administered online. DiAngelo, who has become famous for her infamous book “White Fragility,” has become somewhat of a celebrity by holding corporate struggle sessions on critical race theory. This has entailed charging up to $40,000 for half-day indoctrination courses to lecture audiences on the imagined perils of “whiteness” and “white fragility.

The prior description of the course included language that instructed people to be “less white.” . . .

The course description said it will cover understanding what it means to be white,” and “challenging what it means to be racist.” Students were instructed “to be less white is to: be less oppressive; be less arrogant; be less certain; be less defensive; be less ignorant; be more humble; listen; believe; break with apathy;” and “break with white solidarity.”

Author and pundit Candace Owens reacted to the revelation:

. . .Coca-Cola is undoubtedly not the only company that has tapped DiAngelo and similar speakers, such as Ta-Nehisi Coates, to lead such trainings. Corporate social re-engineering efforts like diversity trainings are themselves big business. As the Free Beacon noted, “the Diversity and Inclusion business was thought to be worth $8 billion as of 2003; by 2005, 65 percent of big companies offered diversity training.”

Even more strikingly, the Free Beacon points out, there is little-to-no evidence that anti-bias trainings work:

A review of nearly 1,000 studies of anti-bias tools found little evidence that they have any impact. In fact, recent studies suggest anti-bias training’s primary effect may be to encourage discrimination: Firms with diversity training end up with fewer minorities in management, and field research finds that training both reinforces stereotypes and increases animosity against minority groups.

It may be that these “inclusion” seminars actually work the opposite of how they are intended: Instead of bringing people together, they raise awareness of our superficial differences and drive us further apart. . . .

Smith College Staffer Quits Over Anti-White Racism

A staffer at Smith College has resigned, publishing a letter accusing the elite women’s university of creating a “racially hostile environment” against white people.

Jodi Shaw used to be a student support coordinator at the Massachusetts college but recently sent a resignation letter to its leadership saying the environment left her “physically and mentally debilitated.”

“I can no longer work in this environment, nor can I remain silent about a matter so central to basic human dignity and freedom,” said the letter, published by columnist Bari Weiss. . . .

An alumna of the private liberal arts institution, Shaw said the culture had changed forcefully after a 2018 incident when a black student accused a white staffer of racism for calling campus security on her. An investigation showed no evidence of racial bias, but the college put in place a list of initiatives aimed at fighting “systemic racism” on campus. . . .

“I endured racially hostile comments, and was expected to participate in racially prejudicial behavior as a continued condition of my employment. I endured meetings in which another staff member violently banged his fist on the table, chanting ‘Rich, white women! Rich, white women!’ in reference to Smith alumnae. I listened to my supervisor openly name preferred racial quotas for job openings in our department. I was given supplemental literature in which the world’s population was reduced to two categories—‘dominant group members’ and ‘subordinated group members’—based solely on characteristics like race,” Shaw’s letter says.

“Every day, I watch my colleagues manage student conflict through the lens of race, projecting rigid assumptions and stereotypes on students, thereby reducing them to the color of their skin. I am asked to do the same, as well as to support a curriculum for students that teaches them to project those same stereotypes and assumptions onto themselves and others. I believe such a curriculum is dehumanizing, prevents authentic connection, and undermines the moral agency of young people who are just beginning to find their way in the world.” . . .

In January 2020, Shaw said, she attended a mandatory staff retreat “focused on racial issues.” . . .

“Later, the facilitators told everyone present that a white person’s discomfort at discussing their race is a symptom of ‘white fragility.’ They said that the white person may seem like they are in distress but that it is actually a ‘power play,’” she wrote.

“In other words, because I am white, my genuine discomfort was framed as an act of aggression. I was shamed and humiliated in front of all of my colleagues.” . . .

She filed a workplace complaint, but felt it wasn’t taken seriously enough on account of her race.

“I was told that the civil rights law protections were not created to help people like me,” she wrote.

She was stripped of duties, which she suspected was a retaliation for her filing the complaint.

Quasi-Marxist Ideology

She blamed the change in environment on critical race theory, a quasi-Marxist ideology that reinterprets history as a struggle between whites and other races, labelling people as “oppressors” and “oppressed” on account of their skin color, echoing Marxism’s division of society based on class. . . .

Critical race theory has been spreading through American institutions, starting at universities and seeping into K-12 education, government structures, the non-governmental sector, and the corporate world, commonly through supposedly “anti-racist” training sessions and internal social justice policies.

Former President Donald Trump dealt a significant blow to the ideology’s spread last year when he banned trainings based on the ideology from the federal government, and even federal contractors and some grantees. President Joe Biden, however, reversed the order shortly after taking office.

Biden went as far as issuing an order that seems to open the door for instituting the ideology more widely across the federal government.

In Shaw’s view, the ideology exacerbates divisions among people.

“It taps into humanity’s worst instincts to break down into warring factions, and I fear this is rapidly leading us to a very twisted place,” she said. . . .

CRT is more deceptive methodology aimed at trying to affect a certain race (s) or members of our population. It is loaded with lies, misinformation, etc. being portrayed as “normal or even scientific” facts. It’s nothing more than an indoctrination hidden in something that was concocted with a certain reprogramming ideology in mind. Much like the deceptively named “1619 Lincoln project” (if Abe was still here, he would be suing them for misrepresentation using his name!!)
There was a very good reason President Trump was 100% against being taught and why he took action against it. But now that the Biden dog and pony show is center stage and their “ideology” is front and center, the charade is back in the forefront.
If anyone you know is subjected or forced to sit under CRT, tell them to leave or get a lawyer and fight against it.

Chris Pandolfo did not provide a link so I researched and finally found Coke’s statement. They have not admitted that employees engaged with this training. However, the “Be Less White” training was on the LinkedIn site and used by unknown corporations. Fortunately, conservative backlash has caused LinkedIn to take down the program.

This link is hidden within their website. I would think with the backlash, Coke would want it prominently displayed in their website.

Father God,
You are one who heals. You are one who unifies. You love us, each and every one. Please forgive us all for our transgressions against one another based on things that matter not. Lord, please collectively open our blind eyes so that we may see. Let us seek you above the “wisdom” of the world. The world fails, miserably, all of the time. Humanity has failed, from the earliest man to now. We cannot fix ourselves. We are hopeless in that, but we can be hopeful in you. Do what only you can do, God. Make us new in Christ and bring us together in love. In Jesus’s name, I pray. AMEN!

This has been on my heart all day- this whole critical race theory is so stereotypical and to a degree profiling. I thought we wanted to eliminate this. I must qualify myself as white given the topic.

After 40+ years in general & special education I have seen rich white children sexually & physically abused just as I have children from minorities. I have sat with social workers as children have shared their heartbreaking stories. It crosses ALL socio-economic boundaries. How can anyone look at a person’s color and assume they were privileged! Substance abuse, alcoholism, physical, sexual and emotional abuse crosses all barriers-not unusual that it may be hidden given the societal impact among many but it’s still there scarring a person for life. But white privilege-please do your research! I grew up extremely poor-initially no running water, indoor plumbing, or electricity until age 14. Did I have poor self esteem? Absolutely! I knew what it was to be ostracized. In fact if I had been black more financial assistance would have been forthcoming after the Civil Rights Act- but might add took far too long in coming for I nor anyone else must not “covet.”

I have never been in a teacher’s union and my retirement is meager compared to some but I did what I did out of love for God, my profession, and awesome satisfaction. But it was never-ever about race – it was about advocating for hurting children and I am not alone. My prayer is that the Holy Spirit will rain down on those who have such misplaced and destructive perceptions of God’s creation. I pray God leads you to a more positive career that builds relationships, fosters communication and compassion.

Dear Prayer Warriors,

Greetings and hugs! This is all just a classic example of “divide and conquer”. The evil one just recycles his same game plan over and over, because when we are UNITED we are way more powerful than when we are divided. He also wants people to have bitter roots in their hearts, when Jesus would RATHER BRING HEALING and UNITY (Psalm 133). I was praying this weekend for a multitude of issues and the Spirit spoke the following passages into my prayers. Although I was praying hard for a lavish outpouring of conviction of sin to bring repentance to wash over our nation, this actually applies to how we can perceive each other to REBUFF even engaging in this Critical Race Theory. I refuse to engage in such a negative theory when God’s Word is far more perfect and is a great refutation for such “trends” as CRT.

“Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit (Holy Spirit). And there are varieties of ministries and the same LORD/Master (Jesus). There are varieties of effects (Will/Purpose) but the same God (The Father) who works all things in all persons. But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the Common Good.

• to one is given the Word of Wisdom through the Spirit
• another the Word of Knowledge according to the same Spirit
• Faith by the same Spirit,
• Gifts of Healing by the one Spirit
• Effecting of miracles
• Prophecy
• Distinguishing of Spirits
• Various kinds of Tongues
• Interpretation of tongues.
But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually just as He wills. For even as the body is ONE (YACHAD) and yet has many members, and all the members of the body, though they are many, are ONE BODY, so also is Christ. For by ONE Spirit we were all baptized into ONE body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.”1 Cor 12:1-11

My heart says that when The Father looks in His Palm–He sees all our different skin tones and ethnicities like different gemstones! It just adds sparkle and interest to His Kingdom. All our differences–only MAGNIFY that HE IS SUCH AN AMAZING GOD Who could BRING US ALL TOGETHER IN HIS SON and via HIS WORD! HalleluYah!
We all have something to learn from each other! God exists in a Beloved Community which is the Trinity, we were also made to exist in community and value the differences which can bring various gifts to the Body of Christ. Just think…one day…every knee will bow, every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is LORD and Satan’s evil and divisive schemes will be STOPPED by the WORD of OUR KING of kings Who will rule with an iron scepter. I look forward to Jesus saying to Satan,” SILENCE! I’ve had enough of you and your antics!” 🙂

PS: Whoever that Human Resources person was that did that training, and helped sowed seeds of division, they should just focus on creating UNITY and not division.

Remember the classic folk-rock song from the late 60’s called “Get Together?” It’s by a group called The Youngbloods, and the chorus goes, “Come on people, now. Smile on your brother. Everybody get together. Try to love one another right now.” I’m not a hippie, but I absolutely love this song. The song may be from the late 60’s, but the lyrics make just as much sense now as they did then. The song even mentions “When the One who left us here, returns for us at last,” meaning Jesus. This country is so divided right now, that we need to keep this in mind. Jesus wants all to love one another. There is just way too much hatred in the world right now, and it’s time for that to end.

It is sad that even here there is an animosity. I’m getting old and for the first time in my life prejudice is arising. I won’t apologize for ‘What’ God made me to be. I will only apologize for what I personally have done or not done for ‘Who’ God made me to be. I keep God first. I do not lie, steal, have unequal measures.I like or dislike people by whether they lie, steal or have unequal measures. And then I pray for rest. Right now my heart is in a thousand pieces and each piece is bleeding. The blood is red, just like everyone else. Give blood for a while. Then think about those receiving it. Over the years I gave a few gallons. When I look at people I cannot help but have in the back of my mind, ‘this may be my family’. Be respectful. There is no room for disrespect, not even towards me.

They need to stay neutral and focus on their products.Stop every training involving racism.Obama was huge on inciting racism and highly encouraged this of businesses along with this critical theory garbage.coca cola company should come out with a public apology to “include” all the white people they insulted and excluded in becoming all “inclusive” Another Great Way to repair the damage and hatred they cause would be to welcome President Trump to be their next speaker.Pray for God to have mercy and grace on America

I am so grateful that the racism behind “critical race theory” is being exposed! It has been insidiously penetrating all of our institutions, especially education. We need to see a whole movement of anti-racists that are willing to be vocal about these experiences, like Jodi Shaw. I am praying that Jodi will be willing to be a spokesperson for true equality and human dignity of all races! Thank you, Jodi Shaw!

Dear Heavenly Father, we are all Your children and equal in Your eyes. Lord may people look to You and not to these false and hateful teachings. Lord our world is awash in evil and deceitful ideologies designed to destroy real truth and justice and replace them with a corrupt world view. Let us all speak against such false teachings and May You empower us to bring Your truth back to our nation. In Jesus precious name I pray O’ Lord,Amen.

Lord God, You have created us and we bare Your image regardless
Of the color of our skin or any other difference. You have created us and we are equal in Your eyes. We are all sinners in need of a savior, Jesus Christ. You have given us free will and with that comes personal responsibility. For those who have received Christ, racism is unacceptable. Any stereotypic division is unacceptable. We are all free in Christ Jesus. Because we live in a fallen world and are born with a sin nature, we can’t expect institutions of education or government or corporations to change hearts. That can only be done through the power of the Holy Spirit. That is what Jesus does….He changes one heart at a time. Any systematic forced change will be temporary and will just end up marginalizing others groups. As believers, we stand apart and we stand for righteousness and not just in this country but all over the world! Lord, Please give us courage and discernment to live out Your Truth. In Jesus Name we pray! Gal 3:28 “There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for we are all one Christ Jesus.”

This is a harmful ideology not only for “whites” but also for all ethnicities of people. I have three wonderful sons who are black (at least partially) and we have always raised them to look at the character of any person first and foremost. The color of your skin is inconsequential to your moral character and integrity. We also treat all people with respect and do not create divisions where none actually exist. This Marxist idea of “us vs. them” is dangerous and damaging to ALL people. I’m praying.

We might take Morgan Freeman’s wise words seriously. “Stop calling me black, and I don’t call you white”. Lord, open the Heavens over this nation and create an atmosphere of true brotherly love that erases any form of prejudice or separation because of skin color. Heal our land.
