Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is watching closely to see which military leaders are willing to support President Trump’s policies. As for those who are not willing, he signaled that they “will have a different job in due time.”
From Breitbart. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth told Breitbart News in an exclusive interview on Thursday that he is paying “very close attention” to who is executing the lawful orders from President Donald Trump and that woke generals “will have a different job in due time.”

“I’m paying very close attention. There’s plenty of three- and four-star generals up for promotion or up for new positions, and there will already be a few folks that that we’ve identified who will have different jobs in due time,” the defense secretary said.
“I’m not here to declare anybody woke and they’re out. We’re watching the the execution of culture change and willingness to support the president’s policies, lawful orders, and we’ll evaluate from there,” he said …
Hegseth said immediate focus is implementing the executive orders issued by Trump, which have ordered the elimination of diversity, equity, inclusion (DEI) in the military, the banning of troops with gender dysphoria from serving, and reinstatement of troops who were kicked out or left over the COVID vaccine mandate. …
“Trust me, we’re paying very close attention to make sure that those orders are followed and followed swiftly, not just in the letter of the law, but in the spirit of the law, with the kind of enthusiasm that’s required to execute culture change.” …
On personnel policy changes, he said, “You want to get the lay of the land, understand human terrain, give people the benefit of the doubt in an apolitical institution like the military and then evaluate. So we got a little bit of time. We’re paying attention.” …

This is great news. It’s important to build up our military, and to honor God in every aspect . We must have the best military in the world, and we can’t do it without God’s help. Our military needs to be appreciated and encouraged. And for that to happen, they need honest leadership with integrity. Leadership that puts America first and respects its military family, and which honors the God of the Bible is what this country needs. May God give us such leadership.
I am still waiting and hoping for a turn around. Afterall, President Donald Trump had an opportunity during his first term to turn the decline of our military around and he didn’t. And I am concerned about his storing top secret military documents in his bathroom and ballroom and showing battle plans to people who didn’t have clearance at a New Jersey club and at his estate. He put us al at risk. I am also concerned with how he is presently rewriting history. Afterall, we were alive when Russia first invaded Ukraine. We heard the insulting things Putin said. We saw how the Ukrainians were taken back when Putin’s training exercises became an invasion, and everyone thought it was game over. We were alive when the Ukrainians rallied and pushed back against a far larger army and better armed military and the world was both surprised and inspired by their determination. Donald Trump’s claim that Ukraine caused the war in clearly a lie.

Hegseth is doing a great job!! Praise God that He’s providing our country with outstanding leadership in every area of the federal government. God bless and lead these people as they perform their work. We have been very near to a tragic end and global reset. The Lord is GOOD!!
Lord Jesus, You know the hearts of all people, including the “woke” generals that Mr. Hegseth is referring to. I pray that Your will would be done in ALL areas of our government, including our military forces. I pray that You would raise up leaders who aren’t influenced by the “woke” agenda. Thank you Jesus.
Heavenly Father, we lift up the members of our military to You. We pray the following: Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.” – Proverbs 16:3 For troops who were kicked out re: the COVID mandate and had served our nation faithfully, we ask forgiveness and recompense. For the destruction of morale due to false ideologies, restore dignity and sound principles. Reveal any strategies to undermine our nation and it’s security. Let true leadership rise and wise counsel be established around Secretary Hegseth. Set in order each priority that must be addressed. As he puts his faith in You LORD, direct and establish his plans according to Your word. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
Please grant Pete Hegseth wisdom and discernment in his position, Lord. This article focused on only one of the issues he is dealing with, and I’m glad he is. But I’m sure there are a lot of other priorities he is addressing, some of which don’t need to be publicized. My son, who dealt with a lot of deteriorating leadership before he retired from the military, feels confident in Hegseth’s competence. I will simply pray faithfully for him.
Hegseth clearly says that ‘his immediate focus’ is implementing Trump’s DEI policies. So, he says what he has placed front and center. Saying something about realigning around new technologies or focusing on ship building is not exactly a national security secret.
That may be, Tom. How about I simply agree with you in prayer that your concerns are addressed and dealt with in a timely manner, according to the Lord’s leadership. Perhaps some new people, but with the right experience, will be put into places of leadership to accomplish what you desire to see addressed.
“According to the Lord’s leadership” are lovely sounding words which are not even possible with any worldly government. Hegseth’s announcement today that the military is to cut 8% of its budget except for 17 areas, none of which mention ship building, cybersecurity or satellite defense protected areas. The military has never had its budget cut that much. He is doing so blindly because he has not had the time to study an organization as complicated as our military. We are not moving forward but backward.
One source says cybersecurity is included as a protected area. Not mentioned by other sources.

Now I am worried. Hegseth is not interviewing the leadership to see how much they understand about how to implicate the new technologies in military strategies. He is not looking for a new generation of leaders. He is also not thinking through how we can build up our ship building capacity. He isn’t traveling to our ship building yards and to South Korea’s shipyards to look at if we should depend on them or build up our ship building capacity or if it is even possible for us to do so. He is not visiting our military factories to see what the issues are in production. (Of course, if Trump had picked someone who had a navy background and some experience with production and the new technologies, visits would not be necessary.) All, I am picking up on is a leader who is focused on playing politics. The military is probably relieved to have DEI removed.

Really? Turning around DEI is easy. Just eliminate it and everyone falls in behind. Afterall, we are talking about the military. It is understanding the various technologies and their implications in terms of military strategy and getting factories which can supply the military weapons and software up and running with all their various supply lines that will be hard. That is what he should be focusing on. In other words, we need a visionary which has ingested so much military strategy that it is intuitive for this person and someone who has a passion for the new technology and understands the details and someone who understands production lines and the challenges of factory production.
I worked in a highly technology field for decades and saw management come and go. The worse managers were those who did not come up in the ranks and came in from other industries and so did not really know the people in the organization who were talented and really didn’t understand what they were being told in terms of technology changes. They invariably made wrong choices because they didn’t even know enough to ask the right questions. The best managers were the ones that came up within the organization who had a sense of where the company needed to go and had values. They KNEW which people they wanted to advise them.
So far, all I have seen is a lot of posturing and motivation speeches. I still hope because that is all we have. The security of this country lies with Hegseth.

I am just talking about human nature. Of course, someone who has worked within any organization is going to know the people and the issues. And, of course, people are going to be reluctant to speak the truth if they think they will lose their jobs because of it so leaders coming in from the outside are isolated in a sense because that person will not be told what he or she does not want to hear.,

May Hegeseth seek your wisdom and strategies when making important decisions. Give him courage and confidence in you.. send a spirit of cooperation to troops in all levels. quench the spirit of rebellion. in your precious name.
Lord, grant this man wisdom and courage from above. Show him the way. Open doors that seem closed. Show him the things he must do with great resolve. Protect and guard him and his family. Amen.
