Thank God for all the stories of God’s grace coming from Texas and that the people and leaders of Texas publicly glorified His name. Check out our Facebook page to see how you can pray for individual Texans.  Click HERE to share your prayers for Texas with elected officials.

Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that confess his name. (Heb 13:15)

“For the first time since Hurricane Harvey made landfall on Aug. 25, the Coast Guard did not have to carry out rescue missions in storm-ravaged Southeast Texas on Sunday. Instead, the service began moving a number of helicopters out of Texas and into Puerto Rico, Florida and Georgia, in anticipation of another landfall threat brewing for the U.S. coast: Hurricane Irma. . . .

The House is set to take up legislation Wednesday to provide aid to hurricane-ravaged Texas, according to House leaders. Lawmakers are scheduled to vote on a $7.85 billion aid package that was introduced Sunday night by House Appropriations Chairman Rodney Frelinghuysen (R-N.J.). He said the bill contains the amount of Hurricane Harvey funding requested by the White House, which includes $7.4 billion for the Federal Emergency Management Agency disaster relief fund. . . .

Texas is still assessing the destruction Hurricane Harvey left behind. As of Monday afternoon, officials across the state had confirmed at least 60 deaths related to the storm, a tally expected to increase as floodwaters recede and recovery efforts continue. . . .

But for many, returning home was no longer an option. The Texas Department of Public Safety said localities have estimated that more than 200,000 homes have been damaged, with more than 13,500 destroyed, with estimates expected to rise as the hardest-hit areas become accessible. . . .

The challenges of disease, air pollution and housing will remain daunting in the coming days, but for officials, attention can’t be focused only on Texas, as Hurricane Irma draws closer to the U.S. FEMA already has sent resources eastward. Staff and supplies have been deployed to the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico, including more than 700,000 liters of water and 500,000 meals.

The Red Cross is no longer sending volunteers from the mid-Atlantic region to Texas, instead keeping them in place in case they are needed for a response to Irma. Regional Executive Officer Barry Porter said the organization is assessing whether it is prepared for another storm after utilizing so many of its resources for Harvey.” (Excerpted from The Washington Post, reporting by Dan Lamothe, Jessica Contrera, and Sarah Larimer.)

Lord God, in their distress, may the victims of these Hurricanes call out to you Lord, and may they know they are heard by You. May all those who know you also know their place as those who bring Your peace regardless of the circumstance, I pray that more worshipers of Jesus be sent into shelters to raise spirits and to remind those there that their Redeemer lives. We pray that those first responders and organizations bringing relief would not grow weary in well doing, but tha t you Lord would be their strength, we pray that an eternal good may come out of this tempral Bad. I pray this in the only name that can and does do such miracles, the mighty name of Jesus, Amen

Dear JESUS: Please have mercy on us in America and elsewhere!
GOD: Continue to be in the midst of Texas and continue to meet their needs!
Please lead many to repentance and salvation through this mess.
Deliver America from evil please.
Psalm 91:1
The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him and delivers them.

Dearest Lord Jesus:

I am praying on behalf of the victims in Texas of hurricane Harvey and the impending victims of hurricane Irma. I ask that you lift up your people in Texas with wisdom and discernment. Keep them safe Lord, throughout their journeys and hardships. Spread your protective wings over them, Lord and assure them of your guiding light and protection.

For the current victims and impending victims of hurricane Irma, please Lord, I implore you to rush to their aid and give protection to those already affected by Irma, and wisdom and discernment for the people that are in the path of Irma to know your will for their safety and uplift them, Lord and remove all fears they have in dealing with and facing the dangers of this tremendous storm.

Lift your people up, Lord and assure them that even in the darkest of nights, your glory surrounds them and they shall fear no evil.

O Lord, reprove me not in your anger, nor chastise me in your wrath.
Have pity on me, O Lord, for my body is in terror;
My soul, too, is utterly terrified;
but you, O Lord, how long …?*
Return, O Lord, save my life;
rescue me because of your kindness.
For among the dead no one remembers you;
in the nether world* who gives you thanks?
I am wearied with sighing;
every night I flood my bed with weeping;
I drench my couch with my tears.
My eyes are dimmed with sorrow;
they have aged because of all my foes.
Depart from me, all evildoers.
for the Lord has heard the sound of my weeping;
The Lord has hear my plea;
the Lord has accepted my prayer.
All my enemies shall be put to shame in utter terror;
they shall fall back in sudden shame.”
In Jesus’s name we pray. Amen

Thank You Father for all the love, volunteer time, finances, and materials that have been given to Texas. May Your Light shine in the darkness of this devastating flood of destruction. Father we ask that You will bring restoration to all those who love You and serve You. May they share Your love with those around them. Father we ask that what satan has meant for evil will be turned around by You for Good. Father we have seen You bring restoration many times & we pray You will do it again in Texas & to all those being affected by the fires. Father we ask for Divine protection from hurricane Irma. We tell that hurricane to STOP and turn out into the ocean and die. Just as Jesus said to the storm on the lake we say, “Peace. Be still!” to Irma. In Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen

Lord, we see Your hand of protection even in the midst of this horrific hurricane. It shows us in the natural what the spiritual lesson is that You taught….do not build your house upon the sand where storms can destroy it, but build your house upon a rock and when the storms come, your house will still be standing. So teach us to build our lives upon You and Your unchanging Word, and teach us to number our days. Release Your grace to live every moment in eager anticipation of representing You and the Kingdom. Help us seize every opportunity to love others and serve others and pour out our lives and our resources and our attention on others. Give us grace to hold loosely what is in our hands, to be willing to lay everything down in our devotion and love for You. We bless those affected by the storm to have a transforming encounter with You that is so significant that their testimony is that it was worth it, just to get to know You personally.

We declare over our nation, what was meant for evil, will be used for God’s glory!
Whatever hand the enemy had in creating chaos, we declare that God is king over all the universe. Texas, Louisiana, the whole US, the entire world, all belong to You, Most High God!
We ask You to intervene, to have mercy on us, and to forgive us for our many sins, for abortion, for murder, for racism, for wasting our lives on empty idols and turning away from You! Lord, have mercy on us! We can’t even turn back to You without Your help, Lord. Draw us back to you with cords of love! Help us to love what You love and to hate what You hate. Help us to be steadfast in our desire to show love, no matter what it costs us, because YOU paid the ultimate cost for all of us. We praise You God for hearing our cries and being the true, one, HOLY, Good Shepherd who cares for His flock. We are the sheep of your hand!

Father God, we give you thanks and praise today even though our country has been hit with many natural disasters, the hurricane Harvey who left so many homeless but you have called up your army of Love to reach and rescue these precious people in Jesus Name. May you continue to bless and send help to Texas and Louisiana and bless these first responders, protect them in their tour of duty and show your miracles that show your magnificent glory to them and the world. Put out the wildfires both in the natural and spiritual, O Lord with your mighty hosts of heaven in Jesus Name. Bless our President and Vice-President as they continue to find ways and means to help our country and people who are the most needy today. Thank you, Lord for hearing our prayers and answering in wonderful ways. May you alone be glorified in all this in Jesus Name!

Pray the church wake, & become alive again. Pray for real leaders called by God Almighty, which are disciples. Not seminary graduates. The church must return to Jesus, you will know the church is alive again, when the miracles return.
True story: a family moved from N. Carolina, to a very large state down South, with churches all over, but even though they were there several years, they could make no friends, no one would talk to them, but then they moved to Portland Oregon [the Land of John G. Lake], with only 3% of the people going to church, however in Portland, they now have friends, and people who like them and talk to them, people that won’t judge them. A state without a Mega church. Portland to them was like the church of Philadelphia, the church of brotherly love, and the one out of 7 churches that would be spared tribulation [that is 14% of the churches will be so close to Jesus that they will not notice the Tribulation]. Even with all the churches in that huge Southern State, you can still recall the words of Jesus:
Luke 18:8
8 I .., when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? ASV
Rev 2:5
5 Remember therefore whence thou art fallen, and repent and do the first works; or else I come to thee, and will move thy candlestick out of its place, except thou repent. ASV
Rev 3:16-17
16 So because thou art lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spew thee out of my mouth.
17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and have gotten riches, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art the wretched one and miserable and poor and blind and naked: ASV
