Hamas rejected the latest U.S. proposal for peace crafted by Special Envoy Steve Witkoff. As negotiations continue to fail, some in Israel are calling to simply scrap ceasefire talks altogether.

CBN has the story:
Witkoff’s proposal would reportedly lead to Hamas freeing 10 of the remaining living hostages in the first week of a 60-day ceasefire. In exchange, Israel would free more than a thousand Palestinian prisoners.
A HamasĀ source toldĀ Walla NewsĀ that the latest U.S. plan favored Israel more than earlier plans.
A major sticking point: Hamas wants guarantees that Israel won’t return to fighting after the ceasefire. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu indicated he wants the fighting to resume until Hamas is eliminated in Gaza.
CBN notes that some members of Prime Minister Netanyahu’s coalition have had enough of the negotiations. National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, for example, said in a post on X that “it is time to go in with all our might, to destroy, kill, and defeat Hamas.”
Meanwhile, Israel is also working to exert its sovereignty over the West Bank. TheĀ Security Cabinet recently approved 22 new Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria, a move that CBN calls “historic.”
At the same time, French President Emmanuel Macron is expected to soon lobby for the global acceptance of a Palestinian state, a move that Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar warned would be met with “unilateral Israeli measures.”
As intercessors, we know that all of Israel, including Gaza, Judea, and Samaria, was given to the Jewish people. Let’s pray for strength for Israel as it continues to fight, and that the nations and people of the world would recognize Israel’s sovereignty over its own land.

We lift up Israel leaders and people to stand united against this evil Hamas and those that support terrorism. Lord grant Israel and the United States wisdom, direction, and faithfulness to Your Word that Israel will not give up any of the land that you have given them. Lord God Almighty, You gave Israel the lands as Your beloved people. We You will stop anyone who tries to establish a Palestinian state on Israeli lands. And remove the satanic wickedness of Hamas terrorists. We pray for their first to turn to the Lord Jesus Christ but if they do not remove them from the earth.

If Hamas is unwilling to accept the terms for a cease fire then they must pray the price for their unwillingness. However, we as a nation must allow the Holy Spirit to direct us in our response and gthen stand firm is carrying it out!
