God has used COVID-19 to create the greatest evangelism opportunity in history, said evangelist Nick Hall.

Hall is the leader and founder of Pulse, an evangelistic organization that reaches young people around the world with the Gospel. He told The Christian Post that during the COVID-19 pandemic, people worldwide accepted the Gospel at higher rates than normal.

“I think this could be the greatest evangelistic hour in the history of global Christianity and I say that with 2020 as the starting point,” he said. . . .

Like many others, Hall suffered the loss of a loved one in 2020. His sister died of cancer in February, he said.

“Going through that experience of grief and pain it gave me a head start in experiencing what people were feeling,” he said. “Death is hard, and suffering is hard. There’s no sugarcoating it. But when you come close to death, it forces you to deal with the brevity of life.

“My sister had hope. She had joy even at the end. I just think, in a God-ordained way, if my sister hadn’t died our team wouldn’t have pivoted and put on this program.”

In 2020, Pulse shared the Gospel with over 120 million households from 140 countries during Easter Week alone, Hall said. Of those people, 130,556 became Christians. . . .

“There’s a lot of people who are now seekers. There’s been a massive increase in hunger for God,” Hall emphasized. “It’s true in human history that when hard times happen, people are more inclined to turn to God. What’s true all the time is that we aren’t actually in control. We’re forced to turn to something bigger.” . . .

“Unlike previous generations, young people around the world share a single culture,” said Hall. “Youth culture is one voice. Young people are listening to the same voices, hearing the same music, watching the same Netflix episodes. Technology for all its negatives has also united the world, and we’re finding ways to use that for good.” . . .

“[Today’s youth] have been raised by the internet. Everybody knows Lionel Messi. Everyone knows Justin Bieber. Everyone knows K-pop. I’ve met kids in Russia who learned English by playing ‘Call of Duty,’” said Hall. “I think it gives common ground.”

COVID-19 further united the world with lockdowns, as people worldwide were forced to wear masks and isolate themselves from each other, he said. With so much common ground, Christians have a great opportunity to reach others for Christ. . . .

Thank you, dear Lord for all the wonderful organizations reaching out with the gospel from east to west, north to south and the Holy Spirit is convicting heart’s, bringing them to repentance and to new life in Christ!! The harvest is ripe for reaping! You are Sovereign, O Lord, and You work in ways that are above our ways. We thank You that You are working in marvelous ways today, amidst a horrible pandemic. May we pray and support ministries as You lead us in our engagement with them and we ask, Lord, what would You have me to do? Here am I. We pray the Lord will prepare us. We must be ready to be used by Him. May You place the people You desire right in our very path to minister to. You have heart’s ready to hear and receive. The Holy Spirit is the One who convicts and draws people to Yourself to be saved. We are channels only of Your love, available to any who will come. Bless and anoint Your people, O Lord. To Your glory, Amen. SPIRIT OF THE LIVING GOD, FALL AFRESH ON ME.

How pathetic the view is. Just because it contributed to the increase of Christians, he considers the Covid hoax as God’s will?
I call such a person as a fake Christian who has no discernment for justice. Wearing mask is a mark. Wake up you stupid pastors.

Amen! I totally agree. Actually I have been taking advantage of this time to share the Gospel with others. Lord, I pray that masses will hunger for You, in Jesus name. We need to take advantage of the opportunities that God gives us to be witnesses for Christ.

Yoon Shik Han. There was nothing in that post to suggest that COVID-19 was God’s will. God does allow things to happen. Christians have a great opportunity to reach lost souls through this time of unrest. When we are hurting we are drawn to something bigger than ourself. God is the only one in complete control. He has all the answers.

Not sure I agree with this., I live in NY and the majority of the churches are operating in fear. Masking up ., social distancing and no altar ministry. I know one church where they have to park six feet apart. You also need to register to attend services

When you say register, do you mean so they can plan for the number attending and space them properly or are they taking names of everyone no matter how many people come?

Just a caution-Nick Hall and Pulse are associated with the ecumenical reset working toward global religion. Yes, God does desire that all His creation should know Him as God and His Son as the only Way, Truth, and the Life. God abhors false teachers that pervert scripture and sound doctrine.

Wake Up, church! Do your research before accepting every leader as being a Biblically sound shepherd.

And other than Lionel Messi, I don’t get very excited about the other things he said the youth had in common. Or how about tattoos and graffiti? Not for me. But then I’m 61 years old. As a college professor that pushes “safety” and “safe spaces”, I think preaching Jesus as the ultimate SAFE PLACE is a good lead in to sharing the gospel. “Be careful,” “stay safe” all these incessant comments – they should be an opportunity to preach Jesus as the ultimate way of being careful and staying safe, right?
But honestly – without risk, you can’t live. And look at Paul’s life – “with far greater labors, far more imprisonments, with countless beatings, and of labors, far more imprisonments, with countless beatings, and often near death. Five times he received at the hands of the Jews the forty lashes less one. Three times he was beaten with rods. Once he was stoned. Three times he was shipwrecked; a night and a day he was adrift at sea; on frequent journeys, in danger from rivers, danger from robbers, danger from his own people, danger from Gentiles, danger in the city, danger in the wilderness, danger at sea, danger from false brothers; in toil and hardship, through many a sleepless night, in hunger and thirst, often without food, in cold and exposure. And, apart from other things, there was the daily pressure on him of his anxiety(?) for all the churches.”
    Jesus is Lord!

Glory to God. Beauty from ashes!!!!!! Yes, when a sever loss comes we find we are alone and , Praise God He draws us to Himself and oh, how He loves us. We shall sing songs of deliverance for God has not done with America or anyone; He will come with TRUETH in His belt and a mighty SWord in His hand/ His Word spread all across America and the world. God is faithful and will not let His people be moved. We have been prayinf and crying out to Him and I do believe we need to change our focus and start praising Him for the towers of evil that are falling. We speak those things be not as tho they were. That is faith in action. Didn’t God say ” Trust Me” not in what you see but what I tell you. My Word does NOT return void, but accomplishes what I intend to do”. Let us start praising God for victory!!!!!!!! In Jesus Name.
