I Prayed have prayed
God, we thank You for the faith of both Hurts and Mahomes. With so much faith from both quarterbacks, we pray that this Super Bowl would glorify You.

As the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs gear up for the Super Bowl, it is encouraging to see that both teams are led by Christ-centered quarterbacks.

From WORLD. Jalen Hurts lost his starting quarterback job under the glare of college football’s brightest spotlight after leading the University of Alabama to two national championship games. Still, his faith in Christ helped him handle it with grace and class.

Patrick Mahomes, meanwhile, is already garnering comparisons to newly retired football great Tom Brady, despite having played just six seasons in the National Football League. His Christian faith keeps him grounded.

The quarterbacks will go head-to-head in Super Bowl LVII Sunday at 6:30 p.m. EST. Hurts will lead the Philadelphia Eagles, and Mahomes is quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs.

“Before every game, I walk on the field, and I just do a prayer at the goal post,” Mahomes, now 27, said in a 2020 video for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. “And I thank God for those opportunities, and I thank God for just letting me be on a stage where I can glorify Him. And I feel like the biggest thing that I pray for is that whatever happens, win or lose, that I’m glorifying Him and doing everything the way that He wants me to.”

Hurts expressed similar sentiments to CBS Sports earlier this season.

“I’ve just matured and realized God is everything, and He’s worthy of praise,” Hurts, 24, said. “You have to put Him at the center of everything that you do.” …

Father God I praise the words that came from the voices of these Christian athletes. I lift up prayer that their Faith and attitude towards our Heavenly Father will be infectious for other players to desire to be like them. Jesus make a way for other players to have their hearts opened and eyes to see what these Christian players have and then desire it. Jesus I ask will you open up opportunities in their lives to speak and share the Love of Jesus to other players, so they can understand WHY Jesus loves them. Thank you Jesus for the many opportunities to open up the desire to know you. They all win!!!

This is wonderful. I believe we are in a season when we will see the young people looking for something deeper, and they will turn to the Lord God Jehovah, the answer to the destiny they will fulfill in this generation. Looking forward to the best Superbowl we have seen in some time. We give you all the praise Lord Jesus. Amen, and Amen.

No matter who wins the game, the quarterback will glorify Jesus! I’m so thankful that young people have these two wonderful athletes as role models.

Thank You, Father, for orchestrating this game to bring You glory. Let all athletes play fair, with no injuries, and the Name of Jesus be lifted up to draw all the viewers to Himself. Amen.

God is doing something, ads about Him, and both quarterbacks love Him- all at the same event. May His angel attend, giving protection, May God intentions be carried out to the full.

I have not seen the ads. But the title, “He Gets Us”, reminds me that Jesus knows who we are and He knows everything we do. We are His children, He LOVES us, and wants the best for us. He doesn’t love the sin, but He LOVES the sinner! He Gets Us, but He still loves us, and His greatest wish is that we would turn to Him so He could bless us and spend eternity with us. God is LOVE! Give Him a chance!

As a Missourian and, in the past, I have been on the side of only the Missouri football team, today I know there will be no loser in tomorrow’s game. Both men display their faith unapologetically and I pray for the safety of both teams. Also, Father God, let this be the beginning of the end of sex trafficking that is so prevalent during these times by arresting all developments of this perverseness. Amen Amen in Yeshua’s Name.

I recently heard Pam Tebow’s testimony of how her son Tim shared the Gospel to over a hundred million viewers through his football platform, impacting and changing countless lives. I pray that this super bowl will do the same. Our country and our world need to be tackled by the truth and wake up!

Thank you Father for bringing this event and the PGA Phoenix Open to our city this weekend. May scales fall from the eyes of non-believers watching these events so that all can see You created us and we are wonderfully and fearfully made. May your will be accomplished and Your Glory shine for all to see Your truth. It’s a lot to ask Lord, but there is nothing and no one greater than You. Protect all participants in these events until they are safely home. Thank you Lord.

Luke 17:5 And the apostles said to the Lord, “Add to us faith!”

Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.”

Hebrews 12:2 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Dear Heavenly Father, You have truly drawn these young men. I am asking You to continue to increase their faith. And I pray their faith will be fierce, influencing everyone they meet. Help them keep their eyes fixed upon Jesus, who is the Author and Perfecter of faith. I pray this for them, us, and all who will believe. Amen

Dear Lord,
I pray for your protection to be over all the athletes at this year’s Super Bowl Game. May the game be played by both teams in a spirit of good sportsmanship. I pray that you would watch over all the fans coming to the game. I pray that they will all safely make it to the game and home again.
In your name Jesus, Amen

Certainly, our prayers are affecting the atmosphere. On a ABC show honoring athletes on Thursday night, God was mentioned so many times out of the mouth of athletes, it made up for the despicable idol worship of satan on Sunday at the Grammys.

Additionally, there is a special commercial scheduled during the Superbowl that will highlight the humanity of Jesus.

Today, Victory has a special show highlighting the Christian Faith of athletes playing in the Superbowl at 1:00 EST. God will and is getting the glory.

Father God, we pray that whoever win, not only will the winner acknowledge you, but they will have the boldness to say the Name Jesus. We bind any type of man-made censorship or demonic interferences that will attempt to shut down the testimony that is due your Name. In the power and authority given us in the Name of Jesus, every eye that watches the game will walk away knowing Jesus is Lord yesterday, today and forever! Amen.
