Late last week, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a very dangerous piece of legislation—the Equality Act—and now it’s headed to the Senate. The Biden Administration has said they want to pass this within their first 100 days.
Late last week, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a very dangerous piece of legislation—the Equality Act—and now it’s headed to the Senate. The Biden Administration has said they want to pass this within their first 100 days.
I cannot say this more emphatically—for people, for businesses, for churches, and for ministries of faith, the Equality Act is a threat to life as we know it in our nation today. It’s a real game-changer.
This is not about politics—it’s about Biblical truth and religious freedom. I urge you to contact your U.S. senators and ask them to vote NO to the Equality Act. You can also call the U.S. Capitol switchboard at (202) 224-3121, and they will connect you with a Senate office. I also encourage you to let the White House know about your strong opposition to this bill. The progressive Left is zealous about this issue and will pull out all the stops to try to make it the law of the land. . . .
Under the broad reach of the Equality Act, schools, churches, and hospitals could be forced to accept the government’s beliefs and mandates about sexual orientation and gender identity. That would be highly intrusive and incredibly far-reaching. It will threaten everyday speech where people can be fined or lose their jobs for using the wrong name or pronouns.
• The Equality Act will legislate that we allow boys in girls’ sports, boys in girls’ locker rooms, men in women’s shelters, and men in women’s prisons. It will force teachers and students to publicly pretend that a biological male is a female. Schools will be coerced to instruct first, second, and third graders that they can choose to be a boy or a girl, or neither, or both, making biological sex (and science) a relic of the past.
• The Equality Act will use the force of law across all 50 states to threaten the right of Christian and other religious ministries to hire people of shared faith to pursue a shared mission. Can you imagine a Christian organization being forced to hire people who have no passion for its beliefs, teachings, and mission—or who might even be hostile toward its deeply held beliefs? That doesn’t work.
• The Equality Act will strip health professionals of their rights of conscience. It will force doctors and medical professionals who long to do no harm to engage in gender transition treatments such as hormone-blocking, cross-sex hormones, or surgery. It is obvious that a Catholic or faith-based hospital should not have to perform gender transition surgeries that go entirely against what they believe.
• The Equality Act will be a tool used by the government to deny or threaten accreditation to religious colleges and universities if they do not satisfy the demands of the secular Left to apply sexual orientation and gender identity to dorms, sports, places of privacy, and even teachings. The Act could be used as a weapon to threaten the availability of federal student loans and grants to students at certain disfavored religious schools. . . . .
We must not remain silent and accept what we know is wrong—especially when we have the power to do something about it!
People of faith need to PRAY. Churches need to recognize the significance of this and pray corporately, asking for God’s intervention and mercy to extend the religious freedoms we have been blessed with for so long.
We must act now in the remaining days before the Equality Act comes up for a vote in the U.S. Senate. As individuals, churches, and organizations, we need to let our senators know how important this is to us, and that we are asking them to vote an emphatic NO to the Equality Act. . . .

Father I ask in Jesus name The Equality Act will fail votes and will be Discarded to ever be brought again before the House. I ask Father God that you send angels to speak to the hearts of men women that they will vote NO. We need to stop all of these Evil agendas that the Left is pushing through. Thank you for a Victory of No votes.
It is my prayer that the Equality Act will not be passed by our Senate. Children & young adults are confused enough…this will add to their confusion. Someone who does not share the faith of the church should never be employed by the church. If someone doesn’t share our beliefs, they should just leave us be – not ridicule.

Pastor Graham, another sad thing about the new reality that the media and others are trying to force onto the American public is that the majority cannot speak up even if they wanted to. Respectfully, someone like a Pastor, a well established conservative radio or tv personality, and even a self sufficient business owner is able to object and speak out against this new national gender crisis. But, someone like me and others that work for someone else, if they are smart enough, know not to protest publicly or object to how they are trying to erase gender roles in our schools, workplaces and on TV. Just as bad is the cancel culture and how they will very quickly fire you just by saying you disagree with something,. We see it all the time happening in the news. Some people think that if you tell on your friends and neighbors you will get praise and popularity and that is why all this immorality is spreading. The division that they are spreading in American society is terrible. I remember last year when mask came out and the lockdown existed, people would film and expose their friends to virtue signal online. It’s terrible all that is happening in our society, but it is just as bad that those who are trying to undermine our moral foundations have figured out that by destroying livelihoods they can manipulate the public to not speak up. We see it all the time how they destroy lives to set an example for anyone who would dare to speak out.
Lastly, while I say we would be smart enough not to speak up risking our livelihoods. I only say this because in 2014, I spoke up against the war in Syria and how the media was trying to push a new cold war. Passenger airplanes were being shot out of the sky to create political narratives and convince the global community to accept a cold war. It was a terrible time when hundreds of thousands of Syria civilians were being killed by aircraft bombs and war, refugee children were washing up on beaches and technology was exposed globally as spying on people. Well, I was at a major telecom company for many years and because of my moral conviction I spoke up online and lost my livelihood. I think it is courage’s to speak up, but during a time when government is committing so much wrong in society, we cannot rely on the government safety nets that existed in the past. From experience I have to say that individuals should protect their livelihoods. It’s just sad that while our American society was made up of protest and the right to seek redress from government, that right has been taken from us too.

Lord, I thank you for Franklin Graham, and for his faith in your power and his faithful walk. I know you have heard all the prayers that he has led us in. I know you were blessed by all the pray walks that he led us in. God we are in need of great encouragement, as we wait on you. We pray that you will stir great unrest in the hearts of the Democrats in the Senate. Open their eyes to how their vote will affect their own lives, their own families. Put fear in their minds and in their hearts. We know you move Heaven and earth on the prayers of your people, so we pray Father, that this Equality Act will be defeated in the Senate. In your holy name I pray, Jesus. Amen
I decree according to Isaiah 58:1 that we cry aloud and spare not, that we lift up our voices like a trumpet and show a nation and a people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins. Even now, Lord God, you have called Your Church, Your Ecclesia, as the governing body to marshal the borders and guard the gates. We stand between the altar and the porch and we pray. We stand in the door of the tabernacle of the congregation to stop that which has been released from the demonic realm as a plague to our lands and grounds. You have called your church to repair the breach and restore paths in which to dwell. Father, we pray that paths of righteousness and moral uprightness are reestablished in our land and every ill and hellbent agenda that is hidden in the pages of The Equality Act are exposed and come to naught, in the name of Jesus Christ. Today, your church shall arise and shine for our light has come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon us. Darkness has covered the earth and gross darkness the people, but You, Lord God, have risen upon us and Your glory is seen upon us and the Gentiles shall come to our light which is the light of Christ and kings shall come to the brightness of our rising. You have put your words in our mouths and have covered us in the shadow of Your hands that you may plant the heavens and fix the foundations of the earth that are out of course. Your church has been set in the earth as the remedy and we decree that these formed weapons shall not be able to prosper, in the name of Jesus Christ. Father, we decree a shift from moral depravity and preach the Gospel to every spirit of perversion and seduction, we preach the Gospel to every workings of darkness and demonic stronghold, we preach the Gospel that the end will come to it. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
