The Democrat-controlled House on Wednesday passed a $1.9 trillion COVID relief measure, sending it to President Biden who intends to sign the measure into law.
The 682-page bill passed on the strength of Democrats’ majority in the House, in an effort to bring economic relief to American families and businesses struggling through the deadly, now year-long pandemic.
The vote count was 220-211 along party lines.
The measure passed four days after the Senate passed it without a single Republican vote. . . .
A major part of the bill is its initiatives to make it one of the biggest federal efforts in years to assist lower- and middle-income families. Included are expanded tax credits over the next year for children, child care and family leave plus spending for renters, feeding programs and people’s utility bills, according to the Associated Press.
The measure provides up to $1,400 direct payments to most Americans, extended emergency unemployment benefits and hundreds of billions for COVID-19 vaccines and treatments, schools, state and local governments and ailing industries from airlines to concert halls. There is aid for farmers of color and union-managed pension systems, and subsidies for consumers buying health insurance and states expanding Medicaid coverage for lower earners. . . .

Let every attempt to cover up evil with temporary tokens to appease the flesh be exposed for what it truly is. Let nothing hidden remain hidden. Expose & bring to light the hidden subtleties that would seek to lure you people into a false sense of security while the enemy is waiting to strike a fatal blow. Wake up the sleeping giant to see what is going on in the spiritual realm & cause your church to begin to travail as never before until we see everything that has been hidden exposed & brought to an open shew & crushed underfoot in Jesus Name Amen.
Lord, Jehovah Jireh, you are OUR provider and as many need money in this season, we do not trust in man, but YOU. Help us discern and be wise and willing to put our 2 coins in the offering that YOU will be glorified and YOUR work be done.
Poor, foolish legislation and leaders. Who do not see, who do not hear, who do not listen, pride, greed, manpulated by the god of this world.
Help us not give up, but CONTINUE to eat the BREAD of life,the manna from HEAVEN. Daily we must gather and be sustained to BRING JOY, PEACE, UNDERSTANDING all and only comes from YOU. Mighty Righteous, Just King. We can see clearly now the evil lulled into power, by our comfort, our distraction, apathy. But it is not too late to repent and humble ourselves. You are mighty to save and clease us from all unrighteousness. Let us be willing to submit to pruning, to be healed and SO that YOU can bear fruit through our lives. As suffering increases may many seen the true living light of the savior and the true eternal freedom He gives.
