Thanks to a first amendment victory in court, a nativity scene appeared at the U.S. Capitol for the first time in American history.
From Catholic Vote. For the first time in United States history, a Nativity will be on display at the U.S. Capitol. The display [was] be on the southeastern steps in front of the House of Representatives Dec. 10.

According to a newsletter from the Christian Defense Coalition, the display comes after Rev. Patrick Mahoney, director of the Christian Defense Coalition, won a federal court case in May that ruled that the steps of the U.S. Capitol building are a public forum. …

I am praising God that He opened the door for the Nativity to be displayed. It is very obvious that the hand of God is at work in all areas of our Government. God say’s to be beware of wolves in sheep’s clothing. There are many wolves that God needs to remove an replace them with His servants. Only if we as His Children will humble ourselves and pray,and seek His Face and turn from their wcked ways, Then we will hear from Heaven, He will forgive our sins and heal our land!!!!!

Dear Lord God Almighty, who reigns in Heaven above…I thank You for putting this Nativity scene on the grounds of our Capitol through Rev. Mahoney. We love and adore Your Son, Jesus Christ, and we worship Him with all our hearts and souls. I pray that because of this mighty act that many souls will be won to You this Christmas season and beyond and that also many Christians’ lives will be encouraged to take Your Word to those who still do not know of Your Son. It is in Your precious and holy name I pray, amen.
We have done a Live Nativity Scene in front of City Hall for over 50 years. We usually have over 1,000 people come and view it. They listen to the Christmas story with scripture, Christmas songs and gospel presentation.
Praise the Lord for that victory! Thank You for Rev.Patrick Mahoney standing up for our religious rights. Protect him and bless him.. We are praying for another great awakening for this nation. We pray for the new administration coming in and for unity in our government. We were built on Christian principles and we pray that all will come to the knowledge of Christ. Forgive us as a nation Lord help us, as Christians. dto lead with our faith knowing You are in control and all belongs to You.
We thank you Father God that the Nativity will be on the Capitol lawn. Thank you for men like Rev. Patrick Mahoney who will stand up and fight for our religious freedoms. Bless him Lord!
