1) Boys must be allowed in girls’ locker rooms, with accommodations made for those willing to say they are uncomfortable

2) For overnight school trips, schools are directed to eliminate the practice of segregating students by gender

3) Parents may not have the last word on gender pronouns schools use for their children

4) None of the more reasonable changes suggested by parents were included in the final statewide regulations

5) EVERY public-school division must adopt this radical plan for the 21-22 school year

It’s time to contact each member of your local School Board and encourage them to say “NO.”  We need to stand up now and be counted, even if it means school divisions need to file suit against the Governor and the Administration.

Richmond  (Virginia’s state capital) liberals are now dictating to our local school boards how they MUST handle ALL gender issues in public school classrooms.  I brought this issue to you in February, when the VA Department of Education (DOE) was seeking public comment on their proposed “Model Policies for the Treatment of Transgender Students in Virginia’s Public Schools.”   . . . [T]here were so many public comments that DOE delayed the enactment of the model policy by a few weeks.  However, on March 6th, the model policy…as written by liberals from across Virginia…went into full effect.  With NO changes made based on public comment.  Apparently there was no stopping the looney left’s train once it left the station…they had their minds made up!

So, just to re-cap…each School Board in Virginia (EACH ONE…even yours) must adopt a policy that is consistent with the DOE’s model transgender student policy no later than the beginning of the 2021-22 school year.  School Boards will be considering this issue for the next several months.

Those 4 areas are student identification, dress code, access to activities, and access to facilities.  Just to give you a glimpse, the required policy for access to facilities states, “Access to facilities such as restrooms and locker rooms that correspond to a student’s gender identity shall be available to all students.”

We want ALL children to feel safe and free from harassment.  No child should have to endure violence or bullying.  However, there are better ways to accomplish this for the very small portion of the student population intended here instead of changing every local policy.

They should have never decided to open up all locker rooms, bathrooms, and overnight sleeping rooms to students of any and all genders just so liberals in Richmond can feel like they’re accomplishing their far-left agenda.  Shouldn’t children at this age be more concerned with how long they’re going to be allowed to play outside at recess??

Thank you to everyone who took the time in February to leave a comment online during the public comment period for this issue. I am truly sorry the Department of Education wasn’t interested in hearing opposing viewpoints.

You may be asking “What can be done now?”  Well, now, I encourage you to reach out to each member of your local School Board. Encourage them to resist adopting these harmful, radical policies…even if they must take the matter to court.

Parents and concerned members of the community MUST make their voices heard…because I am here to tell you the other side is loud and persistent.  We can no longer sit on the sidelines.  The world is run by those who show up…and the time has come for each of us to show up!

Loudoun School Board Shuts down their employer, WE THE PARENTS, hurts our most vulnerable, WE THE CHILDREN

What a challenging day! I never thought I would ever see the damaging threads of Marxist ideas intertwined in an American education system this close and personal. Please take this as a call to arms to defend and protect our most precious and vulnerable treasure, our children. Having read relatively recently Blumenfeld & Newman’s book, Crimes of Our Educators, I should have been prepared for what transpired at this LCPS School Board session. Yet, I was not. I should have reminded myself of what Thomas Sowell so perfectly describes in Knowledge and Decisions, progressives and Marxists name their endeavors with labels that evoke utopian results but do everything to cover-up what can only be defined as tragedy-inducing, indoctrinating policy. Yet, I did not. In the end, I walked out of the interrupted meeting, angered, and spiritually wounded after the Superintendent shut us down and law enforcement present threatened to arrest this peaceful assembly of concerned parents.

LCPS held a meeting June 22nd, 2021. Several groups of parents and supporters congregated from 2pm until it became time to enter the assembly. They opened the meeting at 4 pm, and after the first 4 items on their agenda came the Public Comment segment. This meeting promised to be rocky from the start, given that the Loudoun School Board has been, according to a majority of parents present, a failure in implementing academic education programs and efficiently opening schools during the trying times of Covid, yet a great success in implementing unwanted social engineering policies aimed at behavioral changes in the student body, without parental consent! Demonstrably, “equity” driven change falls in direct conflict to traditional Judeo-Christian constructs on which our nation was founded, threatens compelled speech, and forces betrayal of one’s conscience. A total of 259 parents, grandparents, and supporters signed up to speak. Only fifty-two or so shared their perspective, opinions, and wisdom, reflecting the turmoil caused by the School Board’s tone deaf, authoritarian approach against the children that they have been entrusted with, against the employer that diligently funds their salaries, buildings, and programs.

The meeting allowed for a little over 50 speakers of which approximately 30% supported policy 8040 and 8350 and 70% were against. The first disruption came about after speaker No. 7 said “I’m back here today as the screaming proud parent a young transgender boy in LCPS. Today instead of focusing on the hate that seems to be dripping from the followers of Jesus in this room and from the kids in our room….” The whole room erupted in jeers at such language lobbed at a majority of attendees. Not only did this individual resort to ad hominem, but she offended many in the audience attacking their faith. To add to the frustration, the speaker was not corrected. Instead, the board members in the dais stopped public comments, left the room, and recessed for 5 minutes. Upon their return, the targeted audience was chastised and threatened with complete suspension of public comments if they could not be quiet and “respectful” of everyone else’s comments.
It quickly became clear that LCPS has in fact already implemented Critical Race Theory. Now they want to enshrine it in damaging policies, vehemently disagreed upon by most parents present. There is now an Equity tzar to enforce CRT and equity in our school systems. The grave concern on the side of parents regarding the impact of CRT and the implementation of transgender policies that benefit less than 1% of the student body, and negatively impact 99% of the same student body, was glaringly obvious. The biggest losers of all this social engineering drive are our beloved children. For our girls competing in sports where biological males compete as transgender girls, their chances of success and access to scholarships and grants are being obliterated. Our pre-pubescent and developing girls are being exposed to undeniable lack of privacy, unprecedented challenge to their modesty, and untenable threats to their safety.

I leave you with the biggest issue for our budding generations. For our younger children, how do you tell a young child that he is an oppressor because of the color of his/her skin? How do you clip the wings of another young child because of the amount of melanin in his/her skin telling them they are victims? Why do this to a young, developing mind given the immutable nature of this innate trait, the color of one’s skin? If that is not pure unadulterated racism, I don’t know what is. It is also diabolical.
