North Korea unveiled new advanced weapons this week, highlighting its growing ability to wage modern warfare and raising fresh concerns for regional security.

Let the IFA community know how to pray for you.

From Reuters:

North Korea tested a new cluster-bomb warhead on a ballistic missile and an electromagnetic weapon this week, state media KCNA reported on ‌Thursday, in a move seen as part of efforts by Pyongyang to showcase its capacity to fight a modern war.

One test proved the surface-to-surface tactical ballistic missile called Hwasongpho-11 Ka, which is tipped with a cluster-bomb warhead, was able to “reduce to ashes any target” covering an area of up to 7 hectares (17 acres), KCNA said.

The electromagnetic weapon system could have the capacity to disable electronic circuits in the enemy’s assets, with the potential ability to cripple South Korea’s F-35A stealth fighter jet or Aegis-equipped destroyers, [said Lim Eul-chul, a professor at Kyungnam University in South Korea.]

These developments point to a clear escalation in both capability and intent.

North Korea is not only expanding its arsenal but refining tools designed to disrupt infrastructure and spread widespread destruction. This is a serious shift toward more aggressive and destabilizing warfare.

Scripture calls nations to pursue righteousness and peace, yet these actions reflect the opposite—an investment in fear and destruction. Such strategies increase instability and place innocent lives at greater risk.

This is a time to stand firm in prayer for global leaders and vulnerable regions facing rising threats. Let’s pray that wisdom and restraint would guide world leaders and that peace would prevail.

Ps. 140 A Prayer for the Lord’s help
Rescue me from cruel and violent enemies, Lord!!! They think up evil plans and always cause trouble. Their words bite deep like the poisonous fangs of a snake. Protect me, Lord, from cruel and brutal enemies, who want to destroy me. Those proud people have hidden traps and nets to catch me as I walk. You, Lord, are my God!! Please listen to my prayer You have the power to save me, and You keep me save in every battle. Don’t let the wicked succeed in doing what they want, or else they may never stop doing evil. They have me surrounded but make them the victims of their own vicious lies!!Dump flaming coals on them and threw them into pits where they can’t climb out.Chase those cruel liars away!! Let trouble hunt them down.
Our Lord, I know that Jesus defends the homeless and see that the poor are given justice. Your people will praise You and will live with Jesus because they do right!!
May Jesus ‘s will be done in North Korea and South Korea. May Jesus crush His enemies underneath His feet, NOW, In Jesus’s name Amen 🙏

Father, I pray for your protection against North Korea and all dictators who have harm in mind for other nations. Jesus is coming to set up his kingdom, but may we as the church, not just sit on our hands and rejoice that He is coming, but be in prayer for the evil planned by North Korea’s leader and by other leaders. Draw many hearts to you to pray for your protection and your word to spread around the world.

Lord, let what was meant for evil turn around for your people good. In Jesus’ name.
