Last week, The Daily Wire revealed that FEMA allegedly withheld aid from houses in Florida adorned with Trump signs. Now, the state is seeking to hold the organization accountable.
From The Daily Wire. Florida is suing FEMA for allegedly discriminating against supporters of President-elect Donald Trump after a Daily Wire report revealed a supervisor directed relief workers in the Sunshine State to “avoid homes advertising Trump.”

The suit, from Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody, alleges that FEMA Director Deanne Criswell and now-fired supervisor Marn’i Washington conspired against the civil rights of Trump supporters in Lake Placid, Florida. The suit comes after whistleblowers told The Daily Wire they were directed to bypass the homes of people with Trump flags or yard signs when canvassing homes in Lake Placid to see if they qualified for hurricane assistance after Hurricane Milton. …
The suit, which cites reporting from The Daily Wire, accuses both Criswell and Washington of illegally depriving Trump supporters of federal aid. Moody filed the suit Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, Fort Pierce Division. …
The suit also points to an interview Washington gave to Roland Martin, where she said that FEMA has a widespread policy of avoiding “politically hostile” homes. Criswell has claimed the guidance was an “isolated incident” and not in accordance with FEMA policy. …
Moody asked FEMA to award damages to the defendants and for the court to declare that the agency had violated the civil rights of Floridians. …
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis said that he backed the lawsuit and has announced that the state’s Division of Emergency Management is also investigating the incident. …

This was remedied with corrective action. What merit is there using future FEMA Agency resources to pay for a State lawsuit?

PLEASE EXPOSE AND PUNISH THE TRAITORS WHO ATTEMPTED TO MURDER PEOPLE BY DENYING THEM THE HELP THEY SO DESPERATELY NEED, AND PAID FOR THROUGH ILLICIT TAXATION. LET THIS BE A LESSON TO AMERICA, WE MUST BE SELF SUFFICIENT AND BE WILLING TO HELP EACH OTHER COMPLETELY .

I’m thankful for ministries like Samaritan’s Purse, CRI, Operation Blessing, and others who rush to the aid of the victims of natural disasters. Not only do they offer practical help but they extend spiritual comfort and hope through the Gospel. Bless them Lord, and prosper them in this calling – the church being Your hands and feet to those who need aid.

Not only Florida should press on with this pursuit, but also the states of North Carolina and Tennessee. I live in Pennsylvania where we were hit back in August with Debby and people are still waiting for help. I don’t believe that we had this particular problem, but people are still waiting for FEMA to make good.
Did FEMA do the same thing for any other previous storms in other states?
Is anyone looking into that?

LORD, You have done great things (Psalm 126), Great are You, LORD. Your eyes are on the righteous, Your ears are open to their cries, Your face is against those who do evil, You deliver us out of all our troubles and You are near the brokenhearted (Psalm 34).
I thank You that Your hand is on and in this. Thank You that those who are responsible for this “policy” will be swiftly exposed, swiftly expelled from their civic duties and replaced with people who adhere to the Constituation of this Nation.
Thank You for the whistleblowers. Send, raise up, compel and appoint and anoint more whistleblowers. More, Father, more. May more be revealed.
