The Russian invasion of Ukraine may have no more important battle than that for the nation’s capital. We should be watching closely and praying, especially for the civilians that live there.
From Breitbart: The Ukrainian capital of Kyiv (Kiev) was hit by rocket strikes overnight, with reports of fighting in its suburbs claimed on Friday morning.
Ukrainian foreign minister Dmytro Kuleba described the rocket strikes on the capital as “horrific”, saying the city had not suffered such an ordeal since 1941 “when it was attacked by Nazi Germany…
Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky made similar remarks when he addressed the nation early on Friday morning, saying Russia was operating military aircraft “treacherously over residential areas” and had bombed Kyiv.
He told Ukrainians in his address: “Terrible explosions in the morning sky over Kyiv, bombing, hitting a house, fire — all this reminds of the first such attack on our capital, which took place in 1941.”
Despite the dramatic and tragic progress of Russia’s invasion, an intelligence assessment of their actual military achievements so far by the British government claimed their successes have been limited…
While details of the fighting in Ukraine are often confused and unclear, Western foreign correspondents’ reports and footage aired by news outlets appear to show clear evidence of bombardment.
President Zelensky has said he remains in the capital, and that “the enemy has marked me as target number one”.
“They want to damage Ukraine politically by destroying the head of state,” he said…

Reports say that Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov that his government had handed out 18,000 submachine guns and ammunition to civilians and militia fighters since Russian leader Vladimir Putin ordered a total invasion of Ukraine early Thursday.

What I am most questioning is why Joe Biden has not been impeached before now for total incompetence! He is talking about nominating this woke blm supporter for scotus while people (Ukraine) we helped convince to let go of their nuclear weapon(s) with the promise that the US and other nations would protect them are dying in their streets without the weapons they need to protect themselves! I couldn’t agree with you more! Biden made us dependent on Russia’s oil, and now he is afraid to stand up to Putin. He (and the cabal that put him in place) are responsible for so much evil! Tyrants across the globe have become bold because our nation has been weakened and sold out to globalists. I pray that the Lord will step in and make their plans boomerang back onto them, as promised in psalms 35 and 94!

Father, I pray for your intervention in the Ukraine. Please protect your people. Give them wisdom. Please show them your wonderful love, while they exist in a literal, “besieged city.” Help them to see your mercy when they call out to you for help. Thank you that where darkness abouts, light abounds even more. Help your people around the world to accurately pray over target, as your bombardiers.
Father, I pray for the peace of Ukraine. May her people hold onto you and pray. I pray that the people of Ukraine may continue to trust in you. Protect them and give them wisdom as they go through this time of trial. Push back Russia as you pushed back Senachrib in the Old Testament when he attacked Jerusalem. For those who don’t know you, draw them close and bring them to salvation.
