As trials over the events on January 6 continue, many are fighting back and uncovering dark secrets about the FBI.
From The Epoch Times. At least 20 FBI and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives “assets” were embedded around the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, a defense attorney wrote in a court filing on April 12.
The disclosure was made in a motion seeking to dismiss seditious conspiracy and obstruction charges against 10 Oath Keepers defendants in one of the most prominent Jan. 6 criminal cases….
“At least 20 FBI and ATF assets were embedded around the Capitol on J6,” read a footnote on Page 6 of the motion. No other details were provided in the document….
In addition to the information about law-enforcement assets on the ground at the Capitol, the footnote says, the Oath Keepers “were being monitored and recorded prior to J6….”
Since the first arrests of Jan. 6 defendants in early 2021, there has been extensive speculation and questions from attorneys, defendants, case observers, and members of Congress about the role law enforcement played that day.
During a Senate Judiciary Committee Hearing on Jan. 11, U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) grilled top FBI officials on the subject.
“How many FBI agents or confidential informants actively participated in the events of Jan. 6?” Cruz asked Jill Sanborn, executive assistant director of the FBI’s national security branch.
“Sir, I’m sure you can appreciate that I can’t go into the specifics of sources and methods,” Sanborn said.
Cruz replied, “Did any FBI agents or confidential informants actively participate in the events of Jan. 6, yes or no?”
“Sir, I can’t answer that,” Sanborn said.
“Did any FBI agents or confidential informants commit crimes of violence on Jan. 6?” Cruz asked.
“I can’t answer that, sir,” Sanborn replied….
No Crime Stated?
The Oath Keepers, including founder Elmer Stewart Rhodes III, are charged with conspiring to enter the Capitol on Jan. 6 to prevent the certification of the Electoral College votes from the 2020 presidential election. Protests and rioting on Jan. 6 interrupted a joint session of Congress for about six hours….
The four counts covered in the motion to dismiss all refer to obstructing a proceeding or preventing an officer from discharging duties.
Under Title 18 of the U.S. Code, the seditious conspiracy charge “requires proof that the purpose of the defendants’ seditious conspiracy was to forcibly obstruct a person authorized to execute a law, while that person was attempting to execute the particular law opposed by the defendants,” Fischer wrote.
“Per binding precedent, however, Members of Congress are constitutionally prohibited from ‘executing any law of the United States,’ ” the motion said. “Additionally, per binding precedent, the Electoral College certification process did not constitute the ‘execution of any law of the United States.’ ”
Counts 2 and 3 of the indictment are brought under 18 U.S.C. § 1512(c), but that law only applies to obstructive acts related to the destruction of evidence, the motion said.
This argument was cited in March by U.S. District Judge Carl J. Nichols, who dismissed the same obstruction charge in two other Jan. 6 cases.
Count 4 accuses the defendants of conspiring to prevent an officer from discharging any duties.
Under binding legal precedent, the motion argues, the terms “office,” “officer” and “officer of the United States” take their meaning from the Appointments Clause of the U.S. Constitution.
Members of Congress are not “officers” under the Appointments Clause, Fischer wrote….

There is now proof Kanpur January 6, All of the people they have in Jail should be released if they were invited inside, which is proven by videos. If they did no harm just looking around did not hurt Other people. We saw windows broken not by the group in jail. I thought withholding information concerning the lives of people that is in jail was a crime. Whoever gave the orders to the police to direct these people inside should be held accountable. There is no doubt that Pelosi stopped getting more guards to help at the WH she should be held accountable because giving orders and blaming others in a set up job to play her planned agenda. There is one person who saw the complete truth His name is Jesus. These citizen should not be held for something that did not do. The lies will be found out and God will take care of the lies, the hypocrisy attitude the left is so hungry for power to try and convict innocent people. I lift up prayer for those still in jail that they do not carry bitterness when they are set FREE. Some may be liable then they should pay but not the innocent. I’m praying for those who have imprisoned since then to be released and their cases dismissed.
We must be doing something right because the Left is throwing everything in their arsenal at the people trying to ruin our nation. I remember when I was a little girl that we were told people would do these things, but I thought they had to be wrong because we were a Christian nation.
I think we need to remove Mr. Biden, his VP, Ms. Harris, Nancy Pelosi, and Chuck Schumer because they keep pushing with both hands to get huge spending bills passed with money we don’t have! All of this borrowing and spending is a plan to cripple and weaken our nation. I hear that Michelle Obama is making the rounds like her husband did in 2009 before the election and NOW Mrs. Biden is doing the same thing. Pray this nation learns from this one year with a socialist will do the trick to never want any more of them.
I watched on the Victory Channel about the invasion of the State Capitol. This was a set up if there ever was one. They would stop the crowd and a photographer would step out and take pictures and then they were shown were to go and again stopped for another (different one from the first) photographer would take pictures. A mob can’t be stopped on command. Those poor people that were lured into the building are still locked up. We need to get their story out to the public so we can compare their situation to the ones the people in Russia are enduring. It’s the communist way of doing things.

This was a set up from the beginning – the request for National Guard was denied by Pelosi, many Capitol Hill police were sent home in the morning ahead of the scheduled speech of the President, on one side of the building, police removed barricades and waved people inside, and what happened to the video of people changing into “Trump gear” in the bushes before entering or the busing of some agitators to the scene. This was planned and even though they didn’t execute their evil plan perfectly, (the “invasion” of the Capitol building started at 12:30 (I think) and Trump’s speech didn’t end until 1:11 (and yet he incited the “riot”? The news never played Trump’s actual speech so people could hear what he actually said for themselves – labeling this incident an “insurrection” and pushing this narrative 24/7 to the exclusion of everything else – Where are all the people in jail for the crimes of the summer of 2020? arson, murder, assault, theft . . . those arrested were bailed out within twenty-four hours so they could move on to another city and burn it down. Those in power must have been worried the vote might not have been certified that day – but postponed pending an investigation. They could not allow that to happen – praise God that even now information is beginning to surface about the massive election fraud in many states in the 2020 election. They are working hard to suppress any and all truth. Prayers for those wrongly imprisoned to be exonerated and set free, for those perpetrating this false narrative to be exposed and thwarted in their evil doing. Lord, let the truth set these captives free and restore to them what the locusts have taken. Protect those who are fighting for their freedom and help them to succeed. As I read this, I found Psalm 57 contained what I was thinking….that these individuals would be trapped in their own trap…..I prayed this Psalm as it is so relevant…there is nothing new under the sun.

None of this should have ever happened, and people still in jail over it hurts me, and hurts our nation. Justice will come, but I can’t see it happening in my lifetime.
