I Prayed have prayed
Lord God, we pray for the millions of people who are out of work. Please give our leaders wisdom about what policies harm and what policies help.

The number of Americans receiving unemployment benefits for the week ended January 23 jumped 2.6 million to 20.4 million, data from the Labor Department showed Thursday.

Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell on Wednesday raised the alarm about the labor market, saying that the real unemployment rate was probably as high as 10 percent rather than the official 6.4 percent.  . . .

The Biden White House’s pandemic relief proposal has been sidelined while the Senate trial continues.

There are 5.1 million Americans on regular state unemployment benefits. An additional 8.7 million are receiving benefits under the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance program, which is available to freelancers and self-employed workers. Nearly 4.8 million are receiving benefits under the Pandemic Emergency program and 1.6 million under the extended benefits program.

A year ago, before the pandemic struck, there were just 2.2 million Americans receiving unemployment benefits.

Father, Thank you that you see each and every person who is unemployed. Your hand is not shortened that it cannot help. It is written in your WORD that you give us all things that pertain to life and godliness. That you cause men to give into our need. We know Lord Jesus that when you walked among us, that you reached out and met the needs of those around you, often in supernatural ways. We ask you to move among those unemployed and cause the all things they need to be supplied. We praise You for you are the One who gives us HOPE and help. In Jesus name, Amen.

You can thank the Biden Admin who has caused the latest numbers of unemployment to jump up by the cancellation of the keystone pipeline which has killed thousands and thousands of jobs related to oil and fuel. My heart really goes out to the many people who are unemployed. Also I cannot help but be a little angry at the same time. It’s a shame that we have politicians who really don’t care. If they were any leaders at all they would do what they could and make better decisions to keep as many people employed as possible. My prayers are certainly with the unemployed. My prayers are also with our Government that they would start to have compassion on others and not be so greedy and lustful for power, perks, and position.

My heart is truly broken for the people out of work. At the same time, I am angry (and not in an unrighteous way) at many government officials who call themselves leaders, yet have done everything possible to capitalize on using a pandemic to overreach and seize power. While doing so, they have thrown millions out of work, bankrupted businesses & families and caused undue mental / physical health problems to millions. I cannot even fathom the depths of that type of greed. Meanwhile, those same individuals or corporations sit down and enjoy their paychecks that keep rolling in – without any pang of conscience as to what they are and have done to people. We have many politicians who just don’t care. Because if they did, they wouldn’t be working day and night to burn and destroy a former president who brought America the best economy in decades.
**God forgive those who have falsely and deceptively used a health crisis to destroy people, businesses and our economy. Forgive them for their hatred, greed, lust for power and their indifference to the suffering they have inflicted. We pray for your justice to be served and that the cries of so many would be answered. We ask for removal of leaders who refuse to change course in the willful destruction they have both planned and caused. Replace them with strong, truthful and courageous leadership that would serve You and the people of our nation in a manner that honors and pleases You.
We ask this in Jesus name amen.

And exactly what should that tell us?!! Where is the media when reporting this? Oh yeah, I forgot they can’t report anything that would make the Biden adm look bad in comparison to Trump! I’m so done with the lies and double standard. Lord open the eyes of the American people specifically the Democrats who refuse to see reality!
