On Tuesday, President Trump signed an executive order to give the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) more power. Department head Elon Musk shared that DOGE will soon investigate federal employees worth millions to see how they amassed so much money on a government salary.

Elon Musk said DOGE will begin investigating federal government workers who have managed to accrue tens of millions of dollars.
“We do find it sort of rather odd that there are quite a few people in the bureaucracy who who have essentially a salary of a few hundred thousand dollars, but somehow manage to accrue tens of millions of dollars in net worth while they are in that position,” Elon Musk said …

From The Daily Wire. President Donald Trump, joined by Elon Musk in the Oval Office, signed an executive order on Tuesday to give the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) project more oversight of the federal government workforce.
Under Trump’s order, the heads of federal agencies are directed to “coordinate and consult” with DOGE in the hiring process and to “limit hiring to essential positions.” The order promises to “significantly reduce the size of government” …
Musk and his team at DOGE have already looked into nearly 20 agencies, identifying spending cuts and suggesting complete program overhauls, The New York Times reported. Answering questions from reporters in the Oval Office with Trump on Tuesday night, Musk emphasized the importance of dismantling the excessive federal bureaucracy. …
Democrats have pushed back against Musk’s work in the Trump administration, arguing that DOGE — a project created by Trump — should not get access to sensitive government databases. Some on the Left have even called Musk’s efforts a “hostile takeover” of government financial systems.
Trump told reporters that he would prevent Musk from working on projects if there were “a lack of transparency or a conflict of interest.” He added that he hopes “the court system is going to allow us to do what we have to do.”

YHVH, we ask that You would provide access to whatever information Elon Musk and President Trump need to accomplish the goal of reducing federal spending to make our government more effective and efficient, and to stop and prosecute the misuse of federal tax monies. Please protect them from any temptation to use their positions of power to accomplish anything other than what is righteous and just. Continue to expose and deal with those who have defrauded our nation, by using positions of power for personal gain. Raise up civil servants, and take down tyrants!

DOGE is much needed since Congress has failed the American people to do solid oversight on these agencies.
If federal employees did illegal things to gather millions of dollars for themselves, then let the evidence show beyond a reasonable doubt.
And Lord bring prosecutions. We need justice for these deep state bureaucrats so that no other “public servant” ever tries this again.
Heavenly Father may the power of your Holy Spirit guide Elon Musk and President Trump as they work to achieve significantly decreasing the Federal Government spending. May their will be that of good stewardship of our resources to make certain that the spending is necessary and cost efficient/effective. May self-interest not enter into their plans for the future of our federal government spending. I ask this in Jesus’ name Amen.
