For years now, Israel has enjoyed strong bipartisan support in the U.S. Has that time of blessing come to an end?
From NBC News. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke virtually to Republican senators during a closed-door meeting Wednesday and found a welcome reception.

But Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., declined a request by Netanyahu to address the Senate Democratic Caucus, a spokesperson for Schumer said, adding: “Sen. Schumer made it clear that he does not think these discussions should happen in a partisan manner. That’s not helpful to Israel.”
The split-screen highlights the polarizing American views of Netanyahu and Israel’s conduct in Gaza, which has led to cracks in what was once rock-solid bipartisan support for Israel’s government. …
“When you make these issues partisan, you hurt the cause of Israel,” Schumer told reporters, standing by his call last week for new elections in Israel.
Schumer has drawn condemnation from Republicans for the speech, in which he said Netanyahu has “lost his way” and put his own political interest above the survival of Israel. …
On Wednesday, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., said he told Netanyahu directly that he disagrees with Schumer.
“I made it clear to him that it’s not the business of the United States to be giving a democratic ally advice about when to have an election or what kind of military campaign they’re conducting,” McConnell told reporters. …
Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., said Netanyahu was asked about Schumer’s comments about a new election in Israel.
“He was very direct, he said he thought that Sen. Schumer’s remarks were wholly inappropriate and outrageous,” Hawley said. “And obviously he took great offense.” …

Father God, the reports we hear all seem biased for a particular audience so that truth becomes relative. What do You say about Israel? We know what Your word says and so does our mutual enemies. As we pray for Your will to be done we must yield to a perhaps unknown remedy that You have. Keep us malleable in our thinking that Your Manifestations in the earth may be seen as Your Answers and Your Work. We think we know how to prepare ourselves for the unknown yet until we are truly tested, as You are testing Your land , Israel, Your People must stay connected to You. May they ask: “YHVH, what do YOU say?” Open their and our understanding in this hour as we are experiencing great change/challenge and the evil is ever present darkness in our world.
Lord you have said in your Word that those who bless Israel will be blesses, and those who curse Israel will be cursed. Well, Shumer has gone against Israel and your people do not agree with him. He is a poor representative of this USA and an embarrassment to us. May he be cursed for his statement against Israel and I pray for a tight relationship between the USA and Israel forever. Amen.
Please Lord, wake up all the leaders in the Senate and the House, who claim to be Christian to stand with Israel. We know from your word that we as a nation are blessed because we have stood with Israel.
I declare that revival starts in the halls of Congress, In Jesus’ name.
Father, Take the spin of Schumer’s remarks and work it so that people see what is truth. Let him see that “he is the one who lost his way” and has for some time “lost his way”’. Bring him to the end of himself so he will find You – his own road to Damascus.

Chuckie Schumer is a noisy windbag! I pray that every politician in Washington will make their stance LOUD & CLEAR if they are in full support of Israel, our ally. Blessings on Mitch McConnell for leading the way & speaking directly with Prime Minister Netanyahu. Drown out Schumer! (He mostly wants the Muslim vote in the November election.) “Numbers 24:9 Whoever blesses you is blessed. Whoever curses you is cursed.” Genesis 12:3 God’s promise to Abram: “ll make you a great nation and bless you. I’ll make you famous; you’ll be a blessing.
