I Prayed have prayed
Lord God, "I know that You can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted. . . I repent." Job 42:2,6
Reading Time: 5 minutes

Court packing, reform, high profile cases . . . the Supreme Court is just as in need of prayer as ever. If not more.

And I will restore your judges as at the first, and your counselors as at the beginning. Afterward you shall be called the city of righteousness, the faithful city. (Is. 1:26)

On hearing recent news about our current administration’s plans for the Supreme Court, I was prompted to revisit a dream from last year.

On February 4, 2020, I dreamed I was in D.C visiting the White House. There was some sort of gathering happening in the dream. I was given a tour of the White House by a former official. He began to tell me things that were happening, but then he said something that seemed urgent:

The real fight will be for the Supreme Court.” In my dream I knew that it was an attempt to change laws and avert justice.

I wrote this in my journal and stayed in prayer over it. I shared this dream with the IFA staff when I heard of Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s death last September. I thought that “the fight” mentioned in this dream would be to fill RBGs seat, however that was not the case. Justice Barrett was appointed rather quickly.

I believe the coming fight for the Supreme Court could be closer than we think. Perhaps the fight for the Supreme Court will be to pack it. If this is the case, we must continue to contend. So if you’re wondering what “pack the courts means” It simply means adding more judges. We currently have nine and it has been this way since 1869 when Congress set the Supreme Court to have nine justices.

How can this happen?

With the new administration, and Democrats in control of both the House and Senate. It can be as simple as passing a law, since nothing in our Constitution prohibits adding judges to the court. This is not a new idea. “Court packing” was first introduced in 1937 when President Franklin D. Roosevelt wanted to appoint more justices in frustration after his New Deal legislation was rejected by Congress. Thankfully this plan for “court reform” was defeated.

This means a democratic-led House and Senate can pass a law to “reform the courts.” President Biden could then appoint extra justices, most likely liberal, to counter and outnumber the conservative justices.  This has often been a heated topic even among Democrats. Many are for it, many are against it.

Even the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg was against court packing. She is quoted as saying, ” It would be that–one sided saying, ‘when we’re in power, we are going to enlarge the number of judges, so we would have more people to vote the way we want them to.’”  There is the answer plain and simple. A packed liberal Supreme Court benefits a liberal agenda of people who will vote how they want. It would likely be a partisan Supreme Court. Any hopes for justice concerning conservative, biblical values would be unlikely unless God intervenes.

How can we pray?

Continue to pray for the nine current Supreme Court justices: Chief Justice John Roberts, Justice Clarence Thomas, Justice Sonia Sotomayor, Justice Elena Kagan, Justice Samuel Alito, Justice Stephen Breyer, Justice Neil Gorsuch, Justice Brett Kavanaugh, Justice Amy Coney-Barrett.

There are several important cases coming before the Supreme Court this month. Let’s pray for each justice to encounter the Holy One and walk in the fear of the Lord. Pray for wisdom and discernment over each justice upon hearing the cases. Pray they would execute impartial and righteous judgment.Fear of the LORD is the foundation of wisdom. Knowledge of the Holy One results in good judgment. (Prv 9:10)

You shall not pervert justice. You shall not show partiality, and you shall not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and subverts the cause of the righteous.” (Dt 16:19)

Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgment.” (Jn 7:24)

Pray for the President and current administration. There are reports that many on Biden’s team are becoming frustrated with pressure from the left to pack the courts. In 2019, Biden said this about packing the courts, “No, I’m not prepared to go on and try to pack the court, because we’ll live to rue that day.”  His response was that packing the courts could backfire if the Republicans gained control of the House and Senate, then the courts would be packed with conservatives. Biden has been described by many as respecting institutions and the way things have been done. Pray for Joseph R. Biden to have courage to not give in to the pressure from his own party.  Pray for fear of the Lord over him and salvation for his soul. Pray he would submit his life to God.

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession, and thanksgiving be made for all people — for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. (1 Tm 2:1-4)

The king’s heart is a stream of water in the hand of the Lord; he turns it wherever he will. (Prv 21:1)

Appeal to the courts of heaven

The Lord is the only true and righteous judge. He does not do justice, He is Justice. We come before God in prayer as children. We stand in the gap as intercessors and watchmen on the walls. We can even commune with Him as friends, but there’s more. We can come before God and present our case.

And he told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart. He said, “In a certain city there was a judge who neither feared God nor respected man. And there was a widow in that city who kept coming to him and saying, ‘Give me justice against my adversary.’ (Lk 18:1-3)

We can approach God in prayer when we have an adversary and contend for justice. Jesus Christ is our mediator at the right hand of God. We have an adversary, the devil, ( 1 Pt 5:8) who is seeking to devour the body of Christ, families, marriages, and this nation’s godly foundation. What will we do? We must appeal to the Lord! His throne is seated above the circle of the earth. We must plead the blood of Jesus over ourselves, families, and nation. We must stand on his promises, his Word, and contend for justice. Then we wait in prayer and believe in the Lord’s righteous verdict to come forth.

Surely you wouldn’t do such a thing, destroying the righteous along with the wicked. Why, you would be treating the righteous and the wicked exactly the same! Surely you wouldn’t do that! Should not the Judge of all the earth do what is right?” (Gen 18:25)

For the LORD is our Judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our King. It is He who will save us. (Is 33:22)

But it is God who executes judgment, putting down one and lifting up another. (Ps 75:7)

Therefore the Lord waits to be gracious to you, and therefore he exalts himself to show mercy to you. For the Lord is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for him. (Is 30:18)

Let’s continue interceding for the Supreme Court and contending for justice. “I want to see a mighty flood of justice, an endless river of righteous living” (Amos 5:24 NLT). This verse in other translations says let justice roll down like waters. Let’s pray for God’s justice to roll down from his heavenly courtroom into our Supreme Court, into the circuits and district courts, and the Department of Justice until we see his righteousness flowing through our nation once again.

I pray that ALL of our Supreme Court justices will seek God’s face in their decision making; I pray that any attempt to pack the courts will not be successful, and that no weapon formed against the courts shall prosper.

Amen

This is essential prayer all this week, saints! Remember to pray for each state involved, and the favor and courage of the Court to do the right thing. Pray especially for Chief Justice Roberts , who has shown himself to be more afraid of the opinion of man than the fear of the Lord.

I pray for Divine protection for each of the Justices and their families. May they all be protected from any harm or plots from the enemy, good health, a sound mind, and guided and filled by our Lord’s Wisdom.

Encouragement reminder – be sure to contact and get a commitment from “your legislators” that they will vote AGAINST packing the SC. (action item required on your part!) Also be sure to list your reasons why you are against. It doesn’t matter what party your representative is from – contact them anyway. Just because you don’t agree with them doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be contacting them!!
** Lord, as intercessors we lift up each member of the SC. We ask that a reverent fear and respect for You Lord would settle into their hearts and minds every day they review and decide cases before them. We pray you would steer their decisions to respect and honor your word Lord, your commands, our Constitution and what is best for our nation. Guide them to shun ungodly pressure and political correctness. Let them not fall to those who would seek to bribe or threaten them. Reinforce their resolve to follow existing law and precedent and to avoid the temptation to “create new law” based merely on their own understanding”. We ask that in your name Lord amen.

Father God,
You have plan. Your ways are not our ways! We must trust in you to walk with us through these dark times, knowing that you will never leave us nor forsake us. Your people are crying out to you for justice, for protection, for guidance, for strength. We know you will not fail us. Please encircle all lawmakers, the President and VP, and the court justices with those who truly love you and are living by the Word. Let them see the truth and desire it for themselves. Let them each have an encounter with you that is undeniable, that shakes them to their core and let them, as a result, be forever changed. Let them all flee from the devil and from the dark forces that seek to control their minds and souls. Let them repent of their sins and proclaim the name of Jesus as Lord and Savior! God, your will be done on earth (an in the U.S.) as it is in Heaven.

In Jesus’s name, I pray. Amen!

I was just going to post the same thing thank you..
There are certain rhema words that God has been speaking over and over to this whole crisis. One I’ve seen has been “stand and see what the Lord will do“ we are to wait and see what he is going to do. He is working right now and we will see his salvation but we must be patient.
The other has been the importance of speaking words of spiritual power and if we speak wrong words or lies we only empower those lies in the unseen realms. It is a lie that Joe Biden is truly our president. At the very least it’s questionable so in that case, why would we empower evil to work within society by referring to this man as the president?
Please brothers and sisters let’s be unified in this and stop referring to Joe Biden as a president or Kamala Harris as a vice president.
This is not an attitude; this is important.

I pray Holy One, You would brood over us as You did during the time of chaos. I fear there is a remnant (of chaos) that remains. But “You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” And it was this power, love and sound mind that propelled Your apostles throughout their ministries. Paul said, “We know the Fear of the Lord, we seek to persuade people. We are completely open before God …” In Job’s Hymn to Wisdom, “God considered wisdom and evaluated it and said to mankind, The Fear of the Lord is this: wisdom. And to turn from evil is understanding.” Isaiah said, “the Fear of the Lord is Zion’s treasure.” The Psalmists said “the Fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever.” In Proverbs, The Fear fo the Lord:
-is the beginning of knowledge
-prolongs life
-in it we have a strong confidence and our children have a refuge…..
-is a fountain of life
-is what wisdom teaches
-leads to life
Father God, because I trust in Your Word alone, I pray the Fear of the Lord would cover ALL of Your creation and we would ALL be changed. And we would ALL know Jesus Christ, who is Your Power and Wisdom…”For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but it is God’s power to us who are being saved.” I pray in Your Mighty Name, The Fear of The Lord would fill the Supreme Court and become a hedge of justice and righteousness for Chief Justice John Roberts, Justice Clarence Thomas, Justice Sonia Sotomayor, Justice Elena Kagan, Justice Samuel Alito, Justice Stephen Breyer, Justice Neil Gorsuch, Justice Brett Kavanaugh, Justice Amy Coney-Barrett. We need You Father, we need You Jesus, and we need you Holy Spirit. Amen

I am very happy that the most recent Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett was sworn in.

Having a Godly strong Supreme Court is very important to the wholeness of this Great Nation!

Remember it only took one man and the Father God to bring Israel back to the Father God. Within the fabric of this Great Nation is the he Remnant who are continuously led by his he Father God.

Packing the court has never been the answer; it did not work then it does not work now. Having Godly values does!

Eventually the 75 Million that want a safe, strong America will stand up in spite of the compromise in the church!

They are dependent on Jesus, walk closely with Him daily and will successfully find a way to stand up the right way!

Regardless of how they are wrongfully characterized by Washington which at this point is losing credibility fast!

While Congressmen and women are attempting to debase them; they are growing stronger!

Jesus could never be defeated, trapped, lied to, or outdone! The Remnant cannot either. Their strength comes from Jesus.

Praise the Lord!

Heavenly Father,
Please wake up your church in America and all conservatives to continue to demand an investigation in the the election fraud. May the call there senators, congressman to seek justice. Lord we can not move on and pretend that this didn’t happen. Embolden your people to fight for truth, to stand up and let our voices be heard while we still have a voice. May the fear of the Lord fall upon the Imposter in the White House until he and all those who are hell bent on destroying Your covenant nation. We ask it for Your glory, Your honor, for the sake of Your name so that America can and will fulfill its intended purpose to take the Gospel to the End of the Earth. Thank You for Your goodness to us.

Father, in the end we will all stand before You. You are the final and one true Judge. You are the only one qualified to deal justly and righteously with us all. So remember us, Father, remember those of us who look to You for perfect guidance and to help us understand and make decisions in our lives that honor You. I pray that You have mercy on thise who would distort and deprave Your precepts. As You established the court system in the first place, I ask that You remember us and take it back now! Bring Your mighty spirit to bear on those who want to destroy and further divide. Bring Your love and grace to them to change them and make them whole. Guide them to make decisions that honor You too and help them to understand that in the end, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Help them to see that their perceived power is nothing in comparison to Yours so that they seek You too. While I pray for their souls, Father, I also pray that You stop them, stop their distortions, their desire for what they believe is control, their evil. Stop it dead in its tracks so that we, the remembered, don’t have to suffer at their hand. And Come, Lord Jesus, come if that is the only way! To Your glory. In Jesus Holy Name

Father God,
This is my prayer to you today and every day:
I ask You to reveal Your glory (Your goodness, truth, and beauty) from coast to coast and from north to south in the USA.
May the fear of the Lord (the reverence and honor due to You) come powerfully on both believers and unbelievers in this nation.

You are God and You alone know how to humble
people.
I pray for truth and justice to be re-established in America, especially in our judicial system: the Department of Justice, Supreme Court, and all federal, state, district courts.

I ask for your mercy and protection over this nation and our Constitution.

I pray You defeat every enemy, both those in the spiritual realm and those in the physical realm.

Give us wisdom how to pray and what actions to take. Help us clearly hear your Holy Spirit‘s voice and be quick to obey.
You are God and you alone sustain us.
By Your power and might cause Your will to be done on earth as it is in Heaven in the mighty name of Jesus and through the power of His blood. Amen.

The one Word that stood out above all the scripture quoted was Deuteronomy which indicated a bribe. I believe I’m to pray into that.

    February 13, 2021

Yes Karen I agree that is a biggy. The main spirits behind bribes is what needs to be addressed. Remember, this is a spiritual battle and behind evil, bad, is a demonic entity, spirit….Matt 18: 18-20 JESUS GAVE US His authority to do this…IN HIS NAME. We need to know what head spirit in Satan’s realm is working in and through people. Iike the spirit of fear (through insecurity) comes… then it metamorphosis into the spirit of greed, which in turn can metamorphosis into the spirit of lies…coverups)…so fear, greed and the lying spirit all have Satan’s stamp on them. Jesus said speak to the mountain (problem) to be removed in faith and His authority and it will obey you. We must follow Jesus teachings if we are to be victorious and not victims…my concern is do we?

Jesus God’s chosen servant was given God’s Spirit to proclaim (say/speak) justice to the nations…until He leads justice to victory….IN HIS NAME the nations will put their hope…( how…us in practice, active faith). Matthew 12: 18b,20b,21.

We are now God’s servants, we have been given His Spirit like Jesus too, we can have the faith of a mustard seed and speak to the mountain of injustice through the spirit of fear, greed and deceit (lying spirit) to be removed and then release by proclaiming; speaking out loud…. justice, truth, honor, integrity come…. IN JESUS NAME!!!
