As the battle for House speakership continues, conservative leaders across the nation are coming out against McCarthy. Perhaps it’s time for new leadership? Only God knows. Let’s take it to Him in prayer.

Lord Jesus, You have spoken to me that the republican’s are not our savior and you have confirmed that message through the job you have placed me in. I ask that discernment be given regarding Kevin McCarthy and other members of congress who believe that you Lord should be separate from government. Lord, your word tells us that you scoff at the rulers of the earth that rise against you as our government is. Lord, there are 20 standing in the gap for you, strengthen them, protect them, give them guidance & wisdom. Lord Jesus may your will be done, may your light shine in the darkness of our nation. Continue to change hearts and raise up might leaders of valor for you. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
Father, You O Lord are the sovereign God and we look to You to bring to an end to all the in fighting as selection for the Speaker continues. May Your will be done in this matter, that our Nation can move forward with the governing of our Nation. You are the God who raises and lowers leaders, so we look to You for the completion of this very important position. May those who are holding back for personnel reasons lay down their right to their positions and do what is best for the people and the Nation. We ask for one who is wholly committed to You and that as a leader they would bring us back to righteousness and godly counsel. May they be one who will walk blameless before You and not seek human approval as much as godly approval, having the wisdom and counsel of Our God. Keep us as Your people focused on the One who is the Alpha and Omega and who sits on the throne. May You be glorified.Amen

Washington, or Churchill…or MacArthur,

I appreciate the 20 wanting someone more conservative than McCarthy, but they can’t seem to get together as a group and offer a consistent alternative. They offer up 2 or 3 names, everyone gets a couple of votes and we go around the mountain again. If they can not agree on anything except not McCarthy, then how can they run a country?? Perhaps they need to elect McCarthy and work as a group behind the scenes to get him to change and the direction to change. Father, without Your wisdom and intervention, we are mired in chaos. Please move mightily in the hearts of our elected officials and raise up the next speaker- whoever that is!! If you can use Baalam’s donkey, You can use anyone!
Things are being accomplished as this plays out. Ans if McCarthy isn’t the right one, the right one will emerge eventually. Trusting God to show us and them.
America needs to return back to the Bible. We need God-fearing we need men and women in Congress and the president that is a God-fearing man. America is falling apart right before our eyes and we need God more now than ever.
Praying for the Next God chosen speaker of the house. Praying for wisdom and unity among the republicans in congress in electing the new speaker . Praying that the influence of darkness over this process will be broken in Jesus mighty name . Amen
Father God, right now we come before you in Jesus mighty name we bring the situation of our leader ship of this nation before you, in Jesus name, we speak unity over the house of representatives and Lord God, Almighty I pray that you would by the power of your Holy Spirit bring forth your chosen speaker of the house, your person who will bring this country into unity, and back into right standing in your kingdom father God, you said to pray that things would be on earth, as they are in heaven, and so father God right now we welcome your hand on this issue, on this process and we thank you for the best outcome in Jesus mighty name. I agree in the Name of Jesus
I can only speak as an individual Republican Christian voter in PA. Since I believe in God’s being in control and needing to at least allow whatever happens, I have had to consider the possibility that He wants someone other than McCarthy to be chosen. That is not a conclusion I have reached and so far I am still praying for him to win. As Minority Leader he has become iconic of the resistance to Pelosi and her party’s principles and the Freedom Caucus’ opposition in favor of a harder-line candidate yet to be chosen is a surprise. I question whether anyone the HFC endorses will get the widespread support among Republican voters going forward that I believe McCarthy already has. He is also imperfect, of course. We must rely on God to bless efforts to roll back the recent rampage of liberalism in our country. I’m not sure if it is former President Trump or some of his supporters whom I should chiefly blame for the seeming absence, or at least weakness, of a “God willing” undertone to the “Make America Great Again” campaign. But that weakness or absence is what I strongly suspect to be the reason for the widely-lamented failure of the widely-predicted “red wave” in November. I don’t see McCarthy as part of that problem. That, though, could be from not knowing enough.
The failure is from uninvolved Christians who are not salt and light in the southern process.. but I really good at using a lot of big words to make what they’re doing sound good when they spin what they are saying.. to sound like something other than what it is. AND- although I have been recently more disappointed in Trump’s weaknesses.. while he was president.. without being a Christian.. he embodied and completed successfully more good for the country than any sitting president in history.. and was definitely an example of a Cyrus. McCarthy is nothing but another Pelosi.. a wolf in sheep’s clothing. The fact that 20 Godly Republican legislators have signed on to stand against McCarthy being voted in.. speaks volumes to this. It is always a remnant of people that stand against evil in our country’s history.. has the spiritually diluted masses that have sold their souls continually screech and whine as the evil satanic within them dies. Fortunately those are a small number of people.. as our Godly foundations emanate up through the citizens of America who have had enough globalist ruination of our country and perversion of our children.. Satan’s reign in America is ending.. and it is obviously loud and painful for those of his followers

I don’t understand why you state that Trump is not a Christian. Im sure he would say otherwise. I see all the fruits of the Spirit in him for one thing.
He was not a Christian when he entered office. He is now.
I believe in the due process that is happening in our Congress. This floor debating is what the Nation needs to see happening. As we wait, we must wait with absolute faith and belief that this is God’s process often. Wait on Him. I am not yet convinced that Mr. McCarthy is not the person needed in that role. I am still waiting on the Lord. But right at this moment. Kevin has not been proven unworthy of the role in my opinion. I celebrate the 4 days of debate. I have listened to and watched it all, even if on rerun on RSBN or CSPAN. The last thing I would say is that it is uncomfortable for me to see the other side of the aisle be in absolute robotic vote mode. That is what bothers me most in all of this. We pray, we believe, we wait. Giving God the opportunity to raise up His way. Thanks
