I Prayed have prayed
Father God, we thank you for your incessant pursuit of your children's hearts. We ask that the fruits of your revival continue to grow in America's places of education, and that you would continue to send God-fearing people to open the hearts of Gen Z.

If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14) ESV

In the same way that King David repeatedly turned back to God, the Church should always turn to repentance and walk the straight and narrow path. In an increasingly dark world, spiritual revival is what people need most. Recent history has shown this, as revivals have brought many to Christ in times of uncertainty. Spiritual revival inspired the very genesis of America in the face of religious tyranny.

Regarding the current cultural climate, uncertainty about America’s future and identity is on everyone’s mind—especially young people. We are in the perfect environment for a spiritual revival, and I believe the youth are increasingly leading an awakening among their spheres of influence in America. According to an article from Faithwire, young people are showing more and more interest in God, and college campuses are experiencing a (much-needed) growing revival.

Faithwire reported that writer/ministry leader “Jennie Allen has had a front-row seat to much of the revival unfolding across America, particularly among young people. She’s been speaking on college campuses and witnessing Gen Z’s rising interest in faith and the Bible. ‘It is so real,’ Allen recently told CBN News from the red carpet of the KLOVE Fan Awards in Nashville, Tennessee. ‘There’s no hype. They actually are hungry for God. It’s been the most beautiful thing.'”

Allen details her experience of seeing young people across the country come to God. Speaking about Jesus and sharing the Gospel has led to a significantly positive response from college-aged people. Prayer and intercession is leading to growing spiritual awareness. Allen describes conducting impromptu baptisms for students in local creeks and even the backs of pickup trucks. To stoke the fire of this revival, we must continue to pray and intercede. Allen herself summarizes the mentality the Church should adopt in America. “I want to just keep my head down, be faithful, and not be distracted by many things,” she said.

Just as God promises to forgive the sin and heal the land of those who humble themselves (as seen in the opening scripture), we now have hope that God will heed the voices of young Christian students and begin healing and rectifying their campus environments. This eagerness for spiritual clarity among college students is a gift. We should not squander it but thank God for opening the hearts of Gen Z students at universities. The next generation is the future of our nation’s government, culture, and spiritual identity. Allen’s experience and efforts in spreading the Gospel prove that there is still a place for Judeo-Christian values in the hearts of many young people.

I was blessed by a great revival across campuses in the early seventies . And as you said another one is long overdue !!! The current satanic stronghold of liberality among students is frightening. We MUST stand in the gap and refuse satans authority over our Gen Z students. We speak and decree Holy Spirits move across campuses from the-east coast to the west. Father may your Angelic armies squash all of satans lies and deception as we join with them to battle for your Kingdom to come to our college campus’s . In our savior Jesus’s name we STAND!! Hallelujah!!!
