After fighting to regain his coaching job, Joe Kennedy is now quitting, citing “retaliation.” What could this mean?
From Fox News. Joe Kennedy, a Washington state high school assistant football coach who won his Supreme Court battle last year after fighting for his right to pray on the gridiron, said Wednesday he has resigned from his position after only one game.

In a statement obtained by Fox News Digital from the First Liberty Institute that included Kennedy’s resignation letter, he claims that the Bremerton School District retaliated against him after he was reinstated. …
“[I]t is apparent that the reinstatement ordered by the Supreme Court will not be fully followed after a series of actions meant to diminish my role and single me out in what I can only believe is retaliation by the school district,” Kennedy wrote. …
“I believe I can best continue to advocate for constitutional freedom and religious liberty by working from outside the school system so that is what I will do,” Kennedy wrote. “I will continue to work to help people understand and embrace the historic ruling at the heart of our case.” …
Hiram Sasser, executive general counsel at First Liberty Institute, which represented Kennedy during his legal battle, said the organization would investigate Kennedy’s claims of retaliation. …

Only God knows our heart, and my prayer is that we will prat fervently that we will be heard by the Almighty and He will heal our land. Repentance must come before healing can take place.

Father God, You are El Shaddai, “The All-Sufficient One.” Thank you for giving wisdom, strength and understanding to Coach Kennedy. Thank you, Holy Spirit, for leading this man & protecting him. Thank you, that Coach Kennedy has convictions about the legal battle he faced. May Your truth, justice and loving-kindness guard his heart in Christ Jesus. I speak Jesus over this man’s life and his relationships. May salvation, healing and deliverance come to those who are not in agreement with the reinstatement ordered by the Supreme Court. Stir up in Coach Kennedy the verse from Philippians 3:14, “I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus” & from Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens him. Let him know Your hand of deliverance in his life. Your will be done, in Jesus’ Name. You are exalted and magnified for such a time as this. I love you, Jesus.
Lord, I pray in Jesus Christ name for brother Kennedy. That your word says Lord, that greater is he? That is in him than he was in the world. That it God is for him who could be against him. Lord, thank you for this man standing for truth. Please give him courage and wisdom as he proceeds in his next steps in life. Protect him and his family. Direct him. Fight his battles for him. Please use his story to stir others to fight for truth and religious liberty in our country. To you, who does immeasurably more than we even ask, is the glory. Amen.
