I Prayed have prayed
Lord, we pray against any efforts to push reparations on Americans. Prevent our leaders from wasting money on woke initiatives, God, and heal the racial divide in the United States!

As Democrats in California push for millions in reparations, progressive members of the House of Representatives are bringing the fight to the federal level.

From Fox News. A group of House progressives led by Rep. Cori Bush, D-Mo., have revived discussions at the federal level about giving reparations to Black Americans who descended from slaves and Americans of African descent.

Bush held a press conference on Wednesday unveiling her Reparations Now resolution, which declares “that the United States has a moral and legal obligation to provide reparations for the enslavement of Africans and its massive harm on the lives of millions.”

She spoke alongside fellow Squad members Reps. Jamaal Bowman, D-N.Y., and Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., as well as Senate candidate Rep. Barbara Lee, D-Calif., and freshman Rep. Summer Lee., D-Pa., and a host of activists from around the country. …

At the end of the press conference, Bush fielded a question from Fox News Digital about where federal funding for a federal reparations program would come from but did not give an answer.

“We’re still having those kinds of conversations,” the congresswoman said. …

She and the other progressives repeatedly called on Congress to take up H.R. 40, a bill re-introduced in January by Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, D-Texas, which would establish a federal task force to “examine and develop” proposals for reparations for African Americans.

It comes just as the reparations debate gains steam in the blue stronghold of California, where state lawmakers are now tasked with considering recommendations of a task force that include giving up to $1.2 million to every qualifying Black resident. …

Rep. Barbara Lee, who co-led H.R. 40 alongside Jackson Lee and is running for an open Senate seat in California, praised the task force’s recommendations when it was her turn at the podium. …

That’s 158 years.
This is just another socialist Marxist ploy to manipulate people to be burdened under useless government-funded programs that cause Division and violence and bloat the economy with pork

These people are delusional! If they get reparations, their own tax dollars are funding it. And black Americans will be funding their own reparations? I’m black, and how much will our African ancestors pay for catching us and bringing us to the coast to sell us for trinkets and guns? Then we were put on ships for America to be sold on the slave market. FATHER GOD please let every person in Congress vote NO on this stupidity! Let our congress focus on all of the many SERIOUS issues we have in our country since the “coup” of 2020! Please let us all that are sane stand against this frivolous use of our money in the NAME of JESUS! Amen!

Even if we could afford this which we can’t, many problems remain.
1. Money quickly gained is usually quickly lost. See large lottery winners. So it wouldn’t benefit most of the people in the long run.
2. What about African Americans that are immigrants or children of immigrants. Do they qualify if none of their ancestors where slaves in the United States?Maybe people like V.P. Harris should get their money from London since both of her parents were born British subjects (1938- India and Jamaica).
3. What about people with just one ancestor that was a slave but the rest of their ancestors are white?
4. How do people prove slave descent since records of that time were spotty at best?
5. How do you stop fraud of people claiming to have slave ancestors but don’t?

Lord please help people realize that there are not any more slaves in America and there are not anymore slave owners. The civil war has been over for more than one hundred years. My family on both sides came to America after the civil war was over. God please rescue the country from the crazy people who have crazy ideas. Amen.
