Many big businesses and financial groups have been ditching the ESG and DEI labels to avoid, as this article puts it, “the political heat.” Will this change stick, or will these three-letter ideologies simply rebrand and reappear?

Companies are reducing their involvement in a high-profile climate group; talking less about environmental, social, and governance (ESG) concerns on earnings calls; and paring back new hires devoted to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in workplaces.
The latest retrenchment came last week when financial giants JPMorgan Chase (JPM), State Street (STT), and Pimco all pulled out of Climate Action 100+, a coalition formed in 2017 to encourage companies to reduce their emissions.
BlackRock (BLK), the world’s largest money manager, also ended its US involvement with the group. …
The moves followed a wave of political pressure on the climate coalition, with House Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) even issuing a subpoena.
In a statement, Jordan called the withdrawals “big wins for freedom and the American economy, and we hope more financial institutions follow suit in abandoning collusive ESG actions.” …
A shift on multiple fronts
Companies are shying away from ESG and DEI in other ways. One has to do with what they discuss on their quarterly earnings calls with analysts.
A recent analysis from FactSet found that mentions of ESG on S&P 500 earnings calls were set to reach new lows this year compared to earlier in the decade. Direct mentions of DEI were even less frequent. …
Another change from companies is that they have slowed their hiring of people with DEI attached to their titles.
A 2023 report from LinkedIn found a surge between 2019 and 2022 in C-suites hiring for DEI-related titles like chief diversity and inclusion officer. The growth was largely seen as a response to the global protests against racism and police brutality. …
But the study also found that the tide has more recently ebbed, with these roles experiencing a 4.5% decline in 2023.
Another recent look at the subject from employment data provider Live Data Technologies found that chief diversity officers were more vulnerable to layoffs and experienced higher turnover in recent years. …
A political fight that may only increase
The step back by corporate America comes as political fighting over these topics is expected to increase.
A new poll released Thursday from left-leaning group Unlocking America’s Future found that American voters are largely unfamiliar with terminology like “ESG” but responded very positively to terms like “responsible companies” (78% favorability) and “sustainable business practices” (73%).
The takeaway, says Kyle Herrig of the group, is that anti-ESG forces “have misread the American people with their attacks.” He added that pro-ESG forces should use the new data to go on the offensive against the ongoing Republican efforts on the other side. …

Praise God that our country is moving in response to the prayers of we Christians. It’s very comforting to see the Lord moving to help make America great again!!
Hearing this good news also helps us stay motivated to pray and also to speak to as many people as possible the truth about wokeism and why the traditional American values are so good and that if we live American values we will be the best country in the world again!!
The term DEI should really be DIE – Diversity, Inclusion and Equity – as it really is a means to destroy our country from within.
If companies have to ask shrouded questions to get the answers they want about DIE and ESG, then that only proves they need to trick the public into agreeing with them – they can’t be truthful.
Hopefully, this turning away from these ideologies will help the large corporations to look deeper into the “stuff” government spreads before they jump in just because they are told they should.
Thank You, Heavenly Father, for answering our prayers and exposing evil. We are so grateful for your faithfulness.

In th r Spirit I saw big letters W. O. K. E. falling into the pit. Then I saw a stuffed monkey with the pronouns clasped in its arms being thrown into the pit by unseen hands.

For 10 years or more this toxic and divisive (Woke) ideology has been infiltrating the culture with a patina of euphemisms covering, in effect, an upside-down Hindu caste system. Now, even Blackrock and JP Morgan, original enthusiastic proponents, are backing away from this —- just on practical terms it doesn’t work and makes poor business sense.
I pray that the various branches of our Christian faith do not become likewise divided and Balkanized in our resistence to this ideology. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
This is encouraging news. Lord Jesus, please, by Your grace, bring ALL of the three-letter agendas to an abrupt end. Thank you, Lord.

It’s imperative that we support the few “freedom loving” Reps and Senators that are currently in office. These few are working hard; we need more of them!
Blackrock and Vanguard are powerful enemies, as is Soros, Gates. all their NGO’s the WHO, WEF and the UN. These are the forces that we must be targeting prayer toward, that Yeshua would release His mighty angels to war against to tear down their strongholds!
Lord God, I pray that your spirit of truth and discernment fall upon your people that they will see through the veil of wickedness that is trying to overtake the world. I ask that you infuse us with plans and boldness to take back what the enemy has stolen and to work through us to restore justice, mercy and righteousness. I ask you to release your mighty angels to the nations with targeted assault on those players who have risen up against YOU and your kingdom. Release them, Lord God, to tear down and make naught the plans of the WHO and their usurpation of national sovereignty as it relates to pandemics and medical freedom for this nation and others. Tear down the underpinning of the WEF and Blackrock and intervene in their plans to dominate the world economies. Lord, send your Spirit to visit those in high places within those companies, to confound their plans, but even more… that they would encounter the Living God, and meet Yeshua as Paul did on the road to Damascus. Save them Oh, God… change their hears that your name may be magnified!

I wouldn’t get excited just because some of the conglomerates pulled back; people are awake now & know that they’re actually the ones DRIVING this insanity train. It’s no different than the Feds lowering rates briefly, or when government officials pretend to graciously “let” us have some of our freedoms back (as if our freedoms and rights are THEIRS to dole out!) Be wise as serpents & innocent as doves.
The big question remains: why, when they know most people oppose these policies, do they support them?
