Asbury isn’t done yet! As the revival continues, let’s pray that it spreads to our communities!

From CBN News. Christian evangelist Nick Hall provided a space over the weekend for the Asbury revival to continue after Asbury University shut it down.

There was plenty of space at the Rupp Arena in downtown Lexington, Kentucky, located about 30 minutes from Asbury in Wilmore. And while hundreds showed up for the last-minute, low-key, free-flowing event, the revival meeting did not gain enough publicity beforehand to fill the massive arena.

Hall told WTVQ-TV he received numerous messages from people wanting to see the Awakening continue in Lexington, so he was able to get the arena. …

Asbury’s president had said options would be opened up in the central Kentucky area after he closed down the revival. But then potential sites were never announced. That’s when Hall said he simply wanted to provide a space for God to keep moving, according to ChurchLeaders.com.

Hall told the outlet he attended the revival at Asbury and “God really worked at my heart.” What caught his attention almost immediately was the authenticity of the event.

“It changed me forever,” he said.

Greg Gordon, the founder of SermonIndex.net, noted on social media some of the testimonies from Rupp Arena on Sunday, including the thought, “Could this be the Great Awakening?” …

Asbury Ended Public Worship on Feb. 20, But Movement Goes On

As CBN News reported, Asbury announced on Feb. 17 that public worship services in the school’s Hughes Auditorium would end on Monday, Feb. 20.  Then beginning Tuesday, Feb. 21, services available to the public would be held at another location in the central Kentucky area. It concluded for students with the National Collegiate Day of Prayer on Feb. 23.

Asbury President Dr. Kevin J. Brown, Ph.D. posted a four-minute video update to Twitter on Feb. 19. Brown said he believed Asbury was not the keeper or source of this movement, pointing out that it has already gone across the U.S. and around the world.

“We look to other schools, other churches or ministry communities as co-commissioners in this movement that’s taking shape for us,” he said. …

The Outpouring Continues In Churches

Meanwhile, there have also been reports of the revival reaching certain churches across the country.

Pastor Troy Brewer, the founding and senior pastor of OpenDoor Church in Burleson, Texas, shared a video clip to Twitter from his church’s worship services Sunday.  …

Meanwhile, there are reports of a massive outpouring of the Holy Spirit happening at the New Life Outreach International Church in the Bronx, New York.

The Holy Spirit has been moving in and amongst our church for quite some time now, probably upwards of 3 years, here on the south side of Indinapolis. Our church is active, growing & spreading the Gospel in so many directions and we see new people at worship every week. This outpouring is so amazing! Beautiful & warm.
I thouroughly understand why Abury leadership made the choices they did, and I expect that this movement will outflow from Asbury to a new meeting place & flame throughout the world.

Father, cause your word, your message, your spirit to flood our hearts, our loved ones, our state, our nation, our world. In Jesus’ name, Amen

A few weeks before we heard of the outpouring at Asbury, our pastor called a time of fasting and prayer for inner renewal. He said that the church needed to be revived before awakening could occur in our culture. During the month of March, we will be meeting on Fridays for extra prayer and worship. This Friday we open up our home to be in the Lord’s presence and to cry out for revival in our family, church, town and state of Massachusetts.

Recommend listening to many remnant pastors on this topic. My concern has been that the bible does not talk about a revival for believers at the end of time in which we are in, but talks about falling away and apostasy of the church which will increase greatly more so in the tribulation. We all have been praying for so long for believers to come back to the Lord and for a spirit awakening for the unbelievers to get saved as our country and the world are rapidly declining. Believe this will help many to determine what this is about. Many more remnant pastors than these that are all in agreement with each other. Now The End Begins Website for the last few weeks has multi articles as well as a video from Francis Chan stating that this was planned to get a so called revival to colleges. The Asbury website also states that they are known to have had 8 revivals before this one. Jd Farag on his church website from 2-26-23 & James Kaddis on rumble last week have videos talking about this. We all can & need to keep praying for Gods WILL to be done in what He wants. We need to remember the author of lies to kill, steal & destroy is out to deceive everyone, we all must discern the truth with the words from the bible. Offering the only blessed hope we have at this time, is in Christ Jesus. Wanted to share in case others have not done research into this yet.
