Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe is accusing congressional Democrats of creating a misleading classified document sent to FBI Director Christopher Wray, saying it pulled “selectively” from reports and failed to adequately represent the intelligence community’s viewpoint.
The memo was a classified addendum attached to a July 13 letter that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff and Senate Intelligence Committee Vice Chairman Mark Warner sent the FBI director concerning foreign interference in the November elections
In a letter to Republican Sens. Chuck Grassley and Ron Johnson that was released this week, Ratcliffe said U.S. intelligence did not create or authorize the addendum contained in the Democrats’ letter.
“In response to your specific questions, I can confirm the IC did not create the classified addendum to the 13 July letter, nor did we authorize its creation. The IC was not consulted prior to its creation and subsequent release to the entire membership of the U.S. House of Representatives,” Ratcliffe wrote.
“Unfortunately, this addendum only draws selectively from a small number of IC reports and focuses on only one threat actor in the elections security space. In summary, the classified addendum apparently prepared by the aforementioned individuals, by no means reflects the full and complete analysis of the IC,” Ratcliffe explained.
Grassley and Johnson wrote in an Aug. 4 letter to Pelosi, Schumer, Schiff, and Warner, that they were concerned that information in the Democrats’ July 13 letter and addendum had leaked to the media.
“I share you concerns about intelligence information being described in the press,” Ratcliffe wrote the two Republican senators. “As you know, any mention of classified materials in the public domain jeopardizes our sources and methods, and undermines the critical work of the Intelligence Community (IC) to protect our nation.”

Father God, the enemy is a master of lies and deception and masquerading. The Bible says that Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. But you saw Satan fall like lightning from Heaven. You saw him when he “landed” on earth. He roams to and fro throughout the earth, but YOU, O Lord rule the heavens and the earth. Those who “play-act,” those who masquerade as something they are not will not meet a pleasant end. You despise hypocrisy. You made that very clear when You were on earth with the Pharisees. I pray that the people of this nation would see straight through every disguise, that it would be clear what is evil and what is good. And, the people of this nation will know a lie when they hear it. Don’t let them get away with it. Don’t let those who lie and cheat and deceive because of their lust for power get away with their schemes. Let freedom ring. Let truth be shouted from the rooftops. Hide this nation under your wings, O Lord. In Jesus Name. Amen.
The burden that I, along with millions of people both sense and share…is that the demonic spirits of deception, dishonesty, lying, greed, control and hatred continue to lay siege to our leaders in DC and specifically the vast majority of those demonic spirits are and “have been” entrenched and dug in with firm roots in the Democratic party. Lying in order to retain and gain more power has become ‘status quo’ within the party. Their leadership has basically put a no talk or gag order on those within their own party who disagree with the lies they spread.
My prayer is simple – “we ask Lord that those who disagree within the Democratic party will find the strength and courage to speak out. We ask that they would switch parties or become independent. Impress upon them the need to be servants first and to pursue truth at all costs. And show them favor as they respond to your leading. Protect them because sometimes standing alone will take courage and fortitude”. Amen!
The hunger for leadership that will tell the truth at any cost and price today is unlike anything in the history of our nation. We long for elected & appointed officials to keep at the forefront of their minds that they must be servants of the Most High God his commandments and then the people of the nation.
We pray that each and every time a lie is told that the spirit of God would intensely convict them… and then allow that lie to be completely exposed. And we ask that your Holy Spirit Lord would help the people of this nation recognize the lie and support leadership that not only tells the truth but support it by words & their actions. Amen!
Father, we ask that truth may be revealed and falsehood done away with. Thank you for your work in our country. May we be prayerful and not afraid of anything for you are in control.
I don’t trust the democrats mentioned in this article,I believe Hilary Clinton,Obama and others are involved in alot more then we are aware of.The leadership of the democratic party can not be trusted always in denial.
I am praying for truth and binding of those who have lied or twisted the truth. So many wrongs have been done through deception. America wake up, examine truth and support this country we love and have been blessed to live here.
