“In the last six months, I’ve seen more antisemitism on the right than I have in my entire life,” [Senator Ted] Cruz said. “This is a poison, and I believe we are facing an existential crisis in our party and in our country.”
The issue is no longer confined to controversial figures like podcaster Candace Owens, who has been criticized for promoting anti-Jewish conspiracy theories. This week, the spotlight has turned to Nick Fuentes, a far-right activist who has suggested that “perfidious Jews” should be executed.
Fuentes’s social media videos reach millions—especially young men who identify with the “America First” movement. Recently, popular commentator Tucker Carlson gave Fuentes a major platform on his show but instead of challenging Fuentes over his record of Holocaust denial and praise for Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin, Carlson offered virtually no pushback.
Since departing from Fox News and launching his own podcast, Carlson has flirted dangerously with antisemitism, developing what Josh Hammer, author of Israel and Civilization, calls a “very unhealthy obsession.” His podcast guest lineup has included a holocaust denier and several critics who have accused Israel of committing genocide against Palestinians.
Notably, Carlson also called Christian Zionism, the belief that the Jews are entitled to their homeland Israel and that God is not done with their nation, a “brain virus” and “heresy.” Although he had since walked back the comments, he insulted millions of believers, including IFA intercessors.

I have always loved the Jewish people and proudly wore an Israeli flag in their support. But I’m concerned with the labeling of anyone that asked questions concerning Israel and Zionist as anti- Semitic. Isn’t that how the left treats those who question. Thank you! Some don’t realize that most modern Israelis are not Shemites, but actually Hamites. The Ashkenazi Jews are part Japhethite as well. Regardless, many also forget Jesus told Jews that unless they believe He is the Messiah, they will die in their sins. Less than 3% of Israel’s people today profess Yeshua. The claim that Jews in Israel are from the line of Ham come from from creationist, biblical literalist, or ideological sources, whose claims are not taken seriously by trained genetics. There is actually no clear mapping to Ham or Shem. There is no scientific consensus that particular Y-chromosome mutations correspond to those biblical sons in any literal way. While there are some social media claims that misinterpret academic studies: for example, a study that looked at European Jews was mischaracterized to claim that “97.5% of Jews in Israel have no ancient Hebrew DNA,” the study did not primarily involve Jews currently living in Israel.
It is important to understand that “Jewishness” in religious or legal senses is not defined purely by genetics. Many Jewish traditions define Jewishness matrilineally (through the mother), or by conversion, not by DNA.
Creation science actually has revealed much extra-Biblical evidence of significant archeology and genetic lines to Noah. It is only a persistent anti- Christ worldview that argues otherwise. The Lord Jesus referenced Genesis multiple times – therefore rejecting its literal content is discrediting Him as well. May no Jew or Gentile be guilty of such!
Genetics is pretty straightforward science. Genes are either there or they are not. And I want to remind you that Jews trace their ancestry through the mother, not the father, so making a claim about tracing something back through the Y chromosome is pointless.
And what in the world does Genesis have to your rather strange claim that is contrary to the Genesis which is mostly the story of the Jews and has nothing to do with your claim that the Jews in Israel are descended from Ham????
The definition of being a Jew has to do with your ancestry through your mother, otherwise Jesus would not have been a Jew. You are a Jew is your mother was a Jew and not because of your DNA. The ancestry of Jesus was filled with individuals who converted to become Jews. Ruth and Tamar are examples.
I found this prayer request regrettable. Ted Cruz and Tucker Carlson are just Christians working out their salvation. Can’t speak for Nick Fuentes and I won’t criticize.. The argument is about not being dragged into a regime change war by a country we primarily support. I believe that the Jews were chosen by God to reveal His Word to the world and the family line through whom the Messiah was to come and to be a stumbling block for the nations in the end times. What is clear is that their disobedience did not matter to God. He remained true to them. But over and above that claim, there are reasons for us to be allies with Israel. They are the most democratic nation in the Middle East. They have freedom of the press and free elections which include Arabs. They have also stood with us in many conflicts. And culturally, they are more aligned with us.
Tom, I agree. However, I must add that their disobedience did matter to YHVH – it resulted in a first exile of 70 years in Babylon, and another approximately 2,000 year exile in the diaspora. Disobedience always matters, and is never overlooked. If I might restate what I think you were trying to say – disobedience does not negate the unconditional covenants and promises of YHVH. He will simply do what He said He would do – His “I will” statements. If a covenant or promise is conditional – His “If you ___, then I will” statements – then our obedience is necessary to benefit from that covenant. The Abrahamic covenant, through Isaac and Jacob’s descendants, was unconditional.
Sheri, the two verses you quoted have been so misunderstood, mistranslated, and misapplied in regard to the current state of Israel and the Jewish people! They are often used to claim that the modern-day Jews aren’t really Jews at all and the modern state of Israel isn’t true Israel, therefore the Biblical prophecies don’t apply to them. How convenient for those who deny the redemptive plan of YHVH for Israel, and want to claim that these promises are now for the “church” – replacement theology or supersessionism. This is profoundly anti-Semitic and ridiculous. If any people group has maintained its identity, through exile, persecution, attempted genocide, and intense opposition – it is the Jewish people. Amazing that they so tenaciously, in most cases, chose to embrace their Jewishness. Even those who chose to change their names and reject their true genetic identity after the Holocaust were still descendants of Abraham through Isaac and Jacob. YHVH knew, even if people didn’t know!
The plain reading of this text is the true meaning. It says “those who call themselves Jews but aren’t”, which means they were Gentiles claiming to be Jews. ie. They were not Jews! There are only 2 possibilities – Jew or Gentile – and YHVH defined the difference. This was a real thing during that time – synagogues of Gentiles claiming to be Jews – who practiced their own perverted version of Judaism. Believe it or not, the same claim is still made by some Gentiles today – that they are Jews – or that they are members of the 10 lost tribes – or some other such nonsense. When we are grafted into the commonwealth of Israel – it is not natural Israel we are grafted into, but spiritual Israel. That is an important and critical distinction, that many fail to make and therefore end up in errors of doctrine and Scriptural application.

Those Revelation verses do apply. Israel is currently occupied by a majority Gentiles or hybrids. Ethnic Jews technically descended through a pure line from Judah. Religious Jews must practice Judaism – very few – mostly agnostics. All must receive Christ as savior and precious few modern Israelis have done so. It is a very permissive culture – abortion on demand, gay pride, and war (rather than peace) promotion. They need missionaries – not weapons!
I’m not sure that you’ve got this one right. Tucker is not anti-Semitic or anti-Israel. He didn’t “platform” Nick Fuentes. He interviewed him. He has interviewed dictators also. In an attempt to understand why so many people follow him.
He is asking questions. If the questions are uncomfortable that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be asked. Sounds like you are trying to cancel Tucker. That’s what the left does.

You failed to mention that Fuentes admires Hitler and Stain and believes American Jews to be a problem and that Carlson made no attempt to have a serious interview with the man which would involve confronting him with counterclaims. The same is true with his interview with Putin. He never confronted him over his claims that were clearly false. You also failed to mention Tucker Carlson’s earlier interview with a man who he called ‘the world’s greatest living historian’ who claimed that the Holocaust happened because the Germans had a logistic problem.

Soft, non-confrontational, interviews – like the one with Nick Fuentes – indicate agreement with, or at least tolerance of someone’s viewpoints. Tucker’s interview with Ted Cruz, however, was confrontational and even mocking – which indicates disagreement, if not intolerance of someone’s viewpoints.
Cancel culture means taking away someone’s platform. He has his own platform, and no one is suggesting that it be taken from him. It is not cancel culture to refuse to give someone your platform, especially without the right of rebuttal. Providing a platform without confronting those things that are morally reprehensible indicates approval. It is unwise, dangerous, and a serious breach of moral clarity.

Tucker Carlson was fired from foxnews because of the language he used about his co-workers. It was because foxnews didn’t want those correspondences to made public in a trail that they awarded Dominion $800 million even though they could have won because as a news source they would be expected to report claims by public figures even if the claims were false.
Tucker Carlson claimed to be a Christian but never repented or even admitted he used language even though the WSJ posted photographs of them. For this reason, I am not sure just how much his claim to Christianity is real or just a play to get the trust of MAGA.
And his creditability as a reliable social media person was in doubt even before his antisemitic remarks. He has repeatedly made claims about Ukraine that were false or unproven to name just one area. Sadly, Christian sites have ignored these obvious signs that he is not reliable and many have continued to trust him.

“During the discovery phase of that lawsuit, private text messages and emails from Carlson were made public. Some of these were very controversial, showing Carlson’s true beliefs (not just what he said on air), which apparently alarmed Fox leadership.
According to some reports, Fox was worried that more damaging internal communications could be exposed, which could further hurt the company’s reputation.”
Those of you who still follow Carlson, please, please pay attention to the words “showing Carlson’s true beliefs (not just what he said on air)”. I read some of those emails shortly after some of them were released. In them, he makes fun of his audience.

The political right will not be destroyed by the loss of those whose ideologies are evil, but by compromise with the evil they spout. We are responsible for calling out evil wherever it exists, especially within our own circles of influence and friendship. Moral clarity cannot be sacrificed in the name of a unity based on compromise. The only unity YHVH can bless, is the unity we experience by being rightly aligned with Him, His Word, and His divine attributes – and therefore come into alignment with one another in Him, His Truth, and His Holiness. Any other kind of “unity”, is false and dangerous – like that of the builders of the tower of Bavel, who cooperated to do evil.
The political right is not in unity with God. Only some of their policies are Christian.
If you check it out, I didn’t make that claim – that the political right is in unity with God or that all their policies are Christian. Neither political wing is in unity with God, and neither’s policies are all Christian. However, one may be more so than another and that is important to discern, and then grant support to the lesser of the two evils. Sad to say, I’m not sure that I can say the institutional church is in unity with YHVH, or that all of their policies are Biblical, either. I don’t expect politics to be, but the ekklesia should be. My greater concern is the tendency of even believers to compromise morally, in the interest of forming political coalitions, instead of valuing moral clarity and trusting YHVH with the outcome. Politics can be lethal in many ways.
This site is very political. For example, they support conspiracy theories about the 2020 election (but not the 2016 or 2024 elections), instruct us about whether we should take the COVID vaccine (it is none of their business and they are not medical experts), post remarks about anti-globalism as though global trade in and of itself is evil, insist that Hegseth should lead our military (there are better Christians who have more experience and who leads the war department is very political), direct hate toward Bill Gates and tell us what political policies we are to support.

It is revealing how you move in your thinking from theories to facts. It is as though you are admitting that as far as the real world is concerned, it takes ‘facts’ to establish what is true or not. The number of conspiracy theories on the internet is countless and most are based on speculation. So, which ones someone choses to believe is often based on their bent. There are theories that justify racism, for example. Do I need to explain to you how wrong they are? There are theories about Indians being Jews. The Word of God warns us about following people who generate speculation which causes divisions. (Romans 16:17)

Some of these people are erroneously being referred to as on the political right. You can not be a fan of Joseph Stalin and be on the right. In murdering thirty million people, Stalin was hardly for liberty.
Lord, may Your people the church not be deceived by this, and may Your people, the Jews, see the danger being posed by this.
