According to a report from the Combat Antisemitism Movement, global antisemitism spiked in August, with Jew hatred in America spiking more than in other parts of the world.

The report from the Combat Antisemitism Movement monitored 694 antisemitic global incidents, an average of 22.4 incidents per day. The volume of antisemitism amounts to more than15.7% more incidents worldwide compared with August 2024.
The United States recorded the highest number of antisemitism incidents in August, with 162 incidents. That represented a 13.3% increase from the 143 incidents recorded in July, noted the CAM report.

CAM stated” 458 of the 694 incidents (66.3%) recorded in August involved Israel-related antisemitism, reflecting the persistent trend of anti-Zionist rhetoric and attacks directed at Jewish individuals and institutions in the ongoing aftermath of the October 7th massacre.”
Fox listed some of these incidents. For example, vandals painted swastikas on the Jewish museum in Oregon and, in Utah, a brewer reportedly created a “Dropkick a Zionist” cider. Additionally, CAM reported that Holocaust denialism is also on the rise.
This report comes as the world draws closer to the second anniversary of Hamas’ devastating attack on Israel. On October 7, 2023, Hamas terrorists killed over 1,000 Jews, returning to Gaza with hundreds of hostages. In this years since, opinions have soured across the globe on Israel, which, while initially seen as a victim, has now been accused of committing genocide against the inhabitants of the Gaza Strip.
As believers, we that this rise in antisemitism, while shocking, is not completely unexpected. We know our world hates Christ, and a key manifestation of that anti-Christ spirit is hatred against the Jews, God’s chosen people.
As we move into the third year of Israel’s war against Hamas terror, let’s pray that the people of the world, especially America, would see the Jewish people as God does!

There is much good happening in America and around the world but the “world media” doesn’t speak of these things. As I type this, I’m reminded of the “little horn.” In Daniel’s vision of the 4 beasts, the last beast had 10 horns and among them sprang a little one, ”in this horn were eyes like human eyes and a mouth speaking arrogantly.” The beast in Revelation 13, also speaks blasphemous words and wages war against God’s people and is often linked to the little horn of Daniel’s prophecy. The little horn symbolizes blasphemous power and opposition to God… self-exaltation, blasphemy, and persecution of God’s people. I am also reminded of Gamaliel’s warning in Acts, as he cautioned the Sanhedrin to leave the Apostles alone….”you might even find yourselves fighting against God!”

I pray You will guard the sons and daughters of Israel, both there and abroad, to protect them from the wickedness that seeks to devour them. I pray every person who speaks in arrogance and in blasphemy will KNOW they are fighting against You and they will KNOW pain, suffering, and death await them if they don’t turn. I pray each one will hear “why do you persecute Me?” And as You identify Yourself, “I am Jesus of Nazareth, the One you persecute,” they will be filled with fear….not physical fear but the FEAR OF THE LORD….AWESOME and life changing. Father God, in the Holy Name of Jesus I cry out. So very deep are the errors in thought and hearts desire upon those whose ways act oppose the rights of Israel and its people or any other people. For you God created mankind in your image, after your likeness. And therefore all peoples are your children. And your children have each been given the very foundation of being of unique people, family, and homeland. Only mankind’s enemy would turn hearts away from care, consideration, and righteous treatment of others. Break this hold upon the minds of people so misguided as to oppose the very deign and plan for mankind to have and to hold their land, their culture, and their family as unique and beloved as you have designed them to be. Oh Father I bind these evil forces so foolish and evil, that would violate the very calling to righteous life before you. Break the evil will from off these afflicted people, by your mighty love, grace, and mercy, free them from this evil path they tread.
