I Prayed have prayed
Lord, thank you for giving us a pause from the busy-ness of life and allowing us time to spend with You. Draw each of us closer to You and don't let that change as things reopen.

Church buildings have been closed across the country, but many Americans say their faith has still grown during the COVID-19 pandemic.

A quarter of all Americans say their religious strength has strengthened as a result of the outbreak, according to a new study from the Pew Research Center. Just two percent of those polled say their faith has grown weaker.

Has your faith been strengthened as a result of COVID-19? Leave a comment and tell us what God is doing in your life.

Most of those polled say their faith hasn’t changed much (47 percent).

Christians are more likely than any other religious group to say their faith has grown stronger during the COVID-19 emergency. This includes 56 percent of Protestants in the historically black tradition, as well as four-in-ten evangelicals (42 percent) and roughly one-quarter of Catholics (27 percent) and mainline Protestants (22 percent).

Pew reports it remains to be seen whether the strengthened faith some Americans are experiencing will push them to attend more worship services. Due to the nationwide social distancing guidelines, most churches and other houses of worship are closed. . .

More than 8 out of 10 Christians who regularly attend worship services say their church is offering streaming or recorded services online or on TV.

A Pew survey conducted in April found that 57 percent of adults who attend religious services at least monthly said they have watched worship services online or on TV due to the coronavirus outbreak.

My husband and I are retired and live in a small apartment complex in a Northern California town. I love the families and young children here and I have been very concerned to see so many of the parents not working and trying to home school. I prayed and asked the Lord what I should do and I felt impelled, compelled and propelled to have the courage to do the following, even if there were possible ramifications with the complex manager.

I have written and placed on the bulletin board next to the mail boxes two subsequent “open letters” to the residents, telling them I am praying for each of them and encouraging them to seek God to supply their needs during this time. Bible verses like Isaiah 41:10, Jeremiah 31:32 AND Psalm 34:18 were included. I shared how we can’t inherit our faith from our parents: that we need to have a personal relationship with God. Then I encouraged each person to read the Gospel of John and see what Jesus claimed about Himself and would say to them during these difficult times.

I was so thankful and amazed that the “letters” were not torn down and I have not gotten in trouble with management! More so I have had several people tell me they have read them and were encouraged. Would you please agree with me that the Lord would open many hearts to read the book of John and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

To God Be the Glory. Thank you.

I have been blessed with this time at home. I’m thankful for this connect IFA offers and I always read and pray as I read often times without comment. I also commute a monthly donation as I received another government check. I plan on doing that as long as possible. I’m not really missing church on Sunday because of technology to worship and receive messages. I do miss visiting with people but the face calls and zoom help. I went to a parking lot church service on Sunday and enjoyed that. Especially as we corporately prayed for the sick and those in need of finances. That is always the best.

Strengthened, full of grace, anointed daily, repented and prayed nights being woken up to pray, felt a unity rising in the IFA, God is great and worthy to be praised. Emptied out in prayer, got filled back up. The prayer targets helped unify us to fight the enemy!! For the Lord is worthy to be praised! In our prayers we sing to each other encouraging one another to rise, be bold, shrink not back. A mighty force bolding pushing the agenda of the Lord through. I keep seeing a vision of a birthing of a Revival taking place. Keep this up! Jesus is the name above all other names. His shed blood covers our families against all the wiles and fiery darts of the enemy as we break forth in song, prayers, blessings, covering our leaders. We are all patriots in Prayer. I prophecy blessings to each and every intercessor in IFA. Amen. and Amen.

Hard not to notice the horrible censoring, and verbal bashing of fellow believers online since Twitter and Facebook, and other social groups like Yahoo Groups, and Google Groups, hard to explain how horrible it is to have someone apply to be a member in my Christian Groups, only to post the Daily Devotional and Pray, and my daily second post of a Puzzle and links for Inspirational posts or music each day, everyday of the year for the last
20 years. Then the new member writes an awful vile and horrible tirade about the post. Takes you off guard the first time, then you go to the
Lord in prayer and ask him to help you with your reply. You definitely, can’t do anything but stand your ground in faith, an hope their reply will,
not be as vile as the first one. Praise God I’ve reached a better place, but sadly have only changed the the hearts and minds of a very few, many I’ve had to Ban from the groups. This is excellent news, because it’s fear more than anything that have caused many believer’s to answer polls saying they don’t believe. I’ve been praying now for 20 years that God would open the eyes, ears, and hearts of believer’s, so they would have the courage to declare their belief in Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior. I know that so many in Ministry have joined me in praying for this, and the joy it brings to see this increase is an awesome gift to us all.

I just read the article in today’s IFA listing, called “CHOOSE TO LET GO” . It bears witness to what you are saying, and what Holy Spirit has said to my heart. I also have been praying that ABBA Father will open the eyes, ears, mouth of the Body of Christ, so we may have His heart for the lost. The Lord reminds me His heart is always for the lost. May we be reminded to see through His eyes and reach through His heart. Be blessed for your years of ministry with the fruit of your prayers.

We are grateful that God has lead us on a path that is so important to be prayer warriors for those that feel lost, forgotten, and left behind. Just because you don’t feel necessary anymore, doesn’t mean God can’t use you willingness to change, and dedicate your life to him, and forge a new path that serves others, and makes you feel useful and worthy.

My faith and my strength as definitely increased because of being quarantined it has allowed me to spend a lot more time with God, because I couldn’t go out. Although I work at my church, the time not having to spend on things and stuff has again allowed me to spend more time with my Father and I am loving it and loving HIM!!

All of my faith, hope, peace, joy, trust and rest are in Jesus alone and yes, it has been strengthened during this time. I respect the virus but it I do not fear it. Almost every time I wash my hands I pray for either the POTUS, VP, all the focus groups, all the frontline workers, the sick, all the governors, for a spiritual revival like no one has ever seen, for the Lord to BREAK the curve and every time I pray that His name will be exalted in all the earth. We read Psalm 91 every evening.

I am grateful to God for this pause in my life. He has definitely drawn me closer to Him. I was doing two Bible studies as the shelter-in-place order began and God knew these studies would become more intense in the weeks ahead. He Made The Way for me to focus on both studies and grow in trust and love for Him while the COVID storm raged. Thank You, One True God!

Jesus told the Samaritan woman,”But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in sprit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” (John 4:23-24) Jesus brought salvation to that woman that day right where she was: at the well thirsting. When we seek Jesus with all our hearts, he will meet us there and we do not have to be in ‘church’ to do it. These are turbulent times we are living in and our faith is being tested. As a matter of fact, this should draw many to Christ and ask the question:”What must I do to be saved? God has a purpose and plan for everything He allows. PRAISE GOD FROM WHOM ALL BLESSINGS FLOW! PRAISE HIM ALL CREATURES HERE BELOW! PRAISE HIM ABOVE YE HEAVENLY HOSTS! PRAISE FATHER, SON AND HOLY GHOST! AMEN!

This battle over our right to worship and live in a free nation has strengthened my faith and commitment to Christ. All the games we play as Christians are over. This is where the rubber meets the road.

Our bible tells us to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus! As the turmoil, statistics, deceptive journalism and those who are friends with the enemy press us down, we will remain strong in Him who is faithful. This is a true test of what each person believes. Keep praying 🙏

Father,
I pray that you would continue to strengthen Your peoples hearts, and for those who have not truly known You and Your marvelous presence this would be a time that they would truly know You are in control. That all of us would surrender to Your plan and as things get back to normal they wont forget to include You in every part of their day. As Your Word says As we walk on the road , as we lie down, when we rise to express Your love and faithfulness to our children and our grandchildren. I ask you bring back story time and testimony time that all generations would declare Your greatness and walk in the confidence You give us as we seek Your face and Your ways to reflect Your glory in our lives to share Your love with others in Yeshuas name. To know You will keep us through every situation as we put our faith and trust in Your name and get rid of the sinful ways that have so easily beset and caused us to be held back from the purpose you made us for. As Phil 3 says Forgetting those things behind and pressing toward that mark the high calling in Yeshuas name Amen

My faith has done nothing but INCREASE IN MY PRECIOUS LORD AND SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST!!! It’s true that we, as Christians, NEED and SHOULD BE assembled together at church, but we should also recognize that the “Church” is the people…..THE BODY OF CHRIST, & we don’t have to be in a building to be Christ’s Church.

I have during this time had more Christian input from online programs and zoom meetings and personal time with Jesus.

My faith has definitely been strengthened through this time of quarantine!
I am more aware of His presence and His deep love for us!
More and more people are coming to the Lord!! There has been more time to reflect on eternity! What the devil has meant for evil God is using for good!

My faith has increased as well as that of my family members. For the first time since childhood, we are attending virtually the same church service together. We have a weekly prayer call to discuss what God is doing in our lives and nation(s).it has opened a door for friends to hear the word of God concerting the troubled times. I pray when we go back to ‘full operation’ that we continue in faith!
