The Lord is opening doors for IFA intercessors!
Early last December, I attended a holiday dinner at my church, in Hawaii. A table discussion card read: “If you could ask Emmanuel for a gift, what would you ask for?” I responded: “A District Council legislature person and a mayor for an island, that I could pray with in person.” Within three minutes, I was talking to a District Council representative. Within 14 hours, I was walking with the mayor of Hawaii County, in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, talking about ongoing prayer.
On the opening day of our latest state legislative session, in January, we leaders of the IFA Hawaii state prayer group had appointments with five representatives. We prayed with them and for them inside their offices. Once inside the House Gallery, we felt elated because God had blessed us in finding seats right on the center aisle! We joined in the opening prayer and then kept praying throughout the rest of the session.
When we’d flown out to the Capitol that day, I had with me a large metal key I’d purchased decades ago and which I considered prophetic. A heart-shaped pendant attached to that key bore the words: “Jesus Is the Key.” Then, on the ride to Honolulu International Airport for our flight back home to Hawaii’s Big Island, I felt that key in my bag. And I realized who had opened the doors for us to participate in the Capitol Building, the House Gallery, and the representatives’ offices: The Lord Jesus is the Key!

Thank you. The state of Hawai’i certainly needs prayerful leadership. We have codified abortion, euthanasia, and irregular unions. We experience prolonged interference to projects that most citizens support because of a modest number of idol worshipers who believe the contents of a leader’s diary to be absolutely true when it is not. Our National elected officials are among the strongest voices is the liberal and globalist agendas. Indeed we need more pray-ers wisely offering fervent prayers.
