Sundown September 27 to sundown September 28 is a day mandated for fasting and repentance called “The Day of Atonement” on God’s calendar. I am not Jewish, but have come to understand that the feasts and festivals God established have great meaning and importance for us all. As a nation it means we would come into alignment with God’s timetable to fast and humble ourselves before Him. We need divine intervention desperately.
In America’s history, we have had calls to prayer as a nation, but very few times have we come together as a nation to fast and pray. It requires a true humbling of ourselves, doesn’t it?
It happened in 1832 when an Asiatic cholera outbreak gripped New York. U.S. Senator Henry Clay asked for a Joint Resolution of Congress to request President Jackson to declare: “A Day of Public Humiliation, Prayer and Fasting to be observed by the people of the United States with religious solemnity.”
It happened again in 1849 when another epidemic (this time from India) struck America. It killed 5,000 in New York, 8,000 in Cincinnati, 3,000 in New Orleans, 5,000 in St. Louis (which was about 6% of the city’s population) and 3500 in Chicago.
In response, on August 3, 1849, President Zachary Taylor proclaimed a National Day of Fasting: “At a season when the providence of God has manifested itself in the visitation of a fearful pestilence which is spreading itself throughout the land, it is fitting that a people whose reliance has ever been in His protection should humble themselves before His throne, and, while acknowledging past transgressions, ask a continuance of the Divine mercy.”
Churches were filled with people praying. By the end of that month, the death toll radically dropped and the plague ended.
It’s time our churches filled once again and we bow our knees together before the Lord Jesus Christ.

Thankful to be able to join in fasting & prayer with my fellow sisters & brothers in Christ for this 24 hours to ask God for His intervention to stop the plague of Covid, rioting, lawlessness, and corruption and that He will pour out His Spirit in revival? Also please pray for legal voting here in NC as well as across out country.
I joined many other Christians on the lawn of the capital building in Lansing Michigan praying all day for our State , our country, our elected officials including our president and Vice President.we prayed with the leadership of many pastors from around our state,,for protection of unborn babies by ending abortion.,the protection thanks to our police,first responders,and our wonderful military. Wewalked around the city praying over the office buildings of thes senators and representatives. It was disappointing to see all the businesses that have failed during this shutdown for the pandemic,we praying God ends the shutdown and revive our great state and our nation

My husband and I will be fasting and praying from Sunday sundown until Monday, Yom Kippur, 9/28 sundown. Repenting for our nation and praying for revival.
The most troubling thing as little as a month ago was that there were hardly any prayer meetings of a national level being called. Thank God for yesterday’s “Return” in DC, thank God for this Yom Kippur, and thank God for Pastor Carter Colon of Times Square, NYC, David Wilkerson’s church. They are hosting a virtual prayer meeting from Plymouth, Mass on October 6th, 7PM-9PM Eastern. They will be seeking a “mercy moment” from the Exact Home where the 1st 51 Pilgrims covanented with God 400 years ago in 1620. Pray, fast, repent, spread the word and participate repenting for “our own sins and the sins of our nation” (Dan 9:20), in Jesus’ Name.

I have been praying and continue to pray for covid 19, stop rioting, lawlessness, corruption and surely pray for an out pouring of the Holy Spirit.

I am fasting and praying for our President and his family, his new Supreme Court pick, Christians in America (revival), my state( we have a voting battle going on in NC), and people in America who don’t know Jesus (The Third Great Awakening). This also includes everything God brings to my mind in between.

PRAYER:
1. Come to us in Your glory, mighty God. Dispel the cruel desperation of darkness that causes people to believe life short, bleak, and cruel.
2. Restore our personal sight! Cause the blind to see, so we are no longer blinded by our sadness.
3. Restore our spiritual hearing! Unstop ears so that we are not deafened by our despair. Speak so we can hear Your voice again.
4. As You begin to heal people in our nation, cities, and towns may we have the courage to proclaim this amazing news: “Your God is coming! He is bringing His kingdom!”

Yes! My family will join you. We also agree that the festivals in Gods word are significant. They are moediim, God’s eternal appointed times, when He has ordained to meet with His people. The scriptures say they are to be kept “forever”. Our nation and our world are in desperate need of a move of God and his mercy.
These strange diseases come from countries who have false gods.

I have been very busy with some issues on my property and did not know until that we will join together for 24 hours of fasting, repentance, and prayer for God’s help for us as we intercede regarding the demonically charged attempted Communist coup to destroy our Republic and replace it with a living hell.
