Did you miss Pray with Others Live on Tuesday, January 12, 2021? IFA President/CEO Dave Kubal shares a good word to encourage and direct our prayers and intercession today. Then IFA Contributing Writer Gloria Robles prays with Kris Kubal about how we can be praying from the “inside out.” It was a powerful time of prayer and seeking God’s Presence through humility. Let us know what you think in the comments section below.

Watch

How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever?
    How long will you hide your face from me?
How long must I wrestle with my thoughts
    and day after day have sorrow in my heart?
    How long will my enemy triumph over me?

Look on me and answer, Lord my God.
    Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death,
and my enemy will say, “I have overcome him,”
    and my foes will rejoice when I fall.

But I trust in your unfailing love;
    my heart rejoices in your salvation.
I will sing the Lord’s praise,
    for he has been good to me.
(Ps 13)

Moses: “You have said, ‘I know you by name and you have found favor with me.’ If you are pleased with me, teach me your ways so I may know you and continue to find favor with you. Remember that this nation is your people.”

The Lord: “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”

Moses: “If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here. How will anyone know that you are pleased with me and with your people unless you go with us? What else will distinguish me and your people from all the other people on the face of the earth?”

The Lord: “I will do the very thing you have asked, because I am pleased with you, and I know you by name.”

Moses: “Now show me your glory.”

Exodus 33:12-18

I learned the first prayer in Congress was three hours long and held in Carpenter’s Hall in Philadelphia. The founding fathers prayed over Psalm 35. What a beautiful thought as various denominations gathered to pray for the leadership of their new nation!

You can read & pray over Psalm 35 here at this crucial time in our nation today: https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Psalm+35

I needed that today . my heart has been heavy for this country and the president and his family . It is Gods will and HE will do what’s best for this country and hold accountable the evil doers and bring light to truth . Satan has hours to work and our Lord has a day to make all things good. God Bless all of you and this great country .

United we stand devided we fall

Our unity is at the cross part of a beautiful word that Kent Christmas gave recently: JE
SUS said. I washed the feet of my deciples , now I’M. looking for those who will wash MINE

They overcame him by the blood of THE LAMB the word of their testimony AND they loved not their lives unto death

IT’s not about us but about HIS
WILL and PLANS all of us. Us and the nations

Bless THE LORD AMEN

Thank you Dave & Kris Kubal and the entire IFA Staff for who you are and all you do.

The prayer call was excellent. The scripture I have on my mirror is Isaiah 30:15 This is what the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One of Israel, says: “In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength, but you would have none of it.

May God not say that of us. I have stopped frequently to deal with my lack of trust after listening to news.

Thank you IFA for all of your disciplining on prayer and fasting. Thank you for always pointing us back to our relationship with God!

May God continue to bless you as you have been a blessing to others.

IFA Staff, whom we appreciate so much, could you send out an Action Response for all of us to contact all our state’s representatives and senators and governors to tell them we are praying for them? Maybe you may deem it wise to wait until things settle down a little bit for this. Just know that we love you, our IFA Family leaders!

I am feeling the need to urge prayer over this next week and the Jan 20 inauguration. It is a fascist tactic to stage violence in order to call for authoritarian government and revoke individual liberties which do not return. Search the Reichstag fire which brought the Nazi party to power in Germany.

Please pray that the evil tactics and schemes of the devil will not have power over this country. Please pray for protection and safety over the coming weeks and that attempts to manipulate and deceive people will not prevail. Please pray for a way for the truth to reach the masses. In Jesus name, amen.

Hello, thank you for your words of encouragement and the reminders that we all need from time to time. This morning at our Bible Study in the book of Hebrews, we studied about God’s promises and how we can lean on them, even when it seems to take a long time to be fulfilled (Abraham’s promise from God came 25 years before being fulfilled). Because each of us is so different we have differing opinions about, well, everything! We need to remember that and be respectful of it, and so remain unified in the things that matter to God…unity in the body. Love for one another. Remaining faithful. Standing strong. I am so happy to have found a place to be able to pray in unity with other believers. Waiting for my marching orders!

Note to IFA: It looks like Isaiah 43 is linked instead of Psalm 43. Also a good read, though!

    Apologies, I read Psalm 13 above and thought it was referring to Psalms again. Perhaps Isaiah 43 was intended. Still, Psalm 43 is very fitting:

    Prayer to God in Time of Trouble

    43 Vindicate me, O God,
    And plead my cause against an ungodly nation;
    Oh, deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man!

    2 For You are the God of my strength;
    Why do You cast me off?
    Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?

    3 Oh, send out Your light and Your truth!
    Let them lead me;
    Let them bring me to Your holy hill
    And to Your tabernacle.

    4 Then I will go to the altar of God,
    To God my exceeding joy;
    And on the harp I will praise You,
    O God, my God.

    5 Why are you cast down, O my soul?
    And why are you disquieted within me?
    Hope in God;
    For I shall yet praise Him,
    The help of my countenance and my God.

Saints the bible instructs us NOT to stop praying for a burden before the LORD discharge that burden. In Luke 18 we asked to pray UNTIL the LORD answers that burden.

Father give us the grace to tarry in Prayer.

WORSHIP
is an engamenet between Ms spirit and the LORDS spirit. Its mans spirit response to the ALMIGHTY as God. Its declaring ADONAI is God. This silences the enemy.

WORSHIP belongs ONLY to ADONAI.

    … He will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?

Thank you for the blessing of this prayer ministry, for many years I have been led to encourage, pray and have worked to see prayer established in my church. Your ministry has been helpful with materials and also just encouraging me to stay focused and be faithful. After the disappointment of our election as I sought God’s heart and direction He gave me three words. Stand, Wait and Watch, I was to stand in faith, wait upon Him for those who wait upon the Lord shall be renewed in strength and to wait for the Glory of the Lord will be see. So I continue to do this as my heart was the cry of Habakkuk to show us His Glory as in the days of old. On Jan.6th as I awoke, I mentioned to God “well this day we will either see Your hand of mercy or Your hand of judgement in our nation. As the day passed as many who have been faithful in prayer and fasting our hearts sank as we witnessed on TV what we saw. On Jan 8th you had a prayer Webcast and was moved by the emphasis for UNITY. As I prayed over the next several days this was what the Holy Spirit showed me confirmed by Gloria Rubal’s interview on Jan. 12 th. I have found that as I pray about issues, He gives me incite and direction from His Word. I went into Jesus’ prayer in John 17:20-23. Jesus in speaking about the oneness of He and the Father prays for that oneness for all believers . My heart and thoughts turned to my family as for the first time in my lifetime I was experiencing a real division because of political positions and it has saddened me so. My consistant prayer was John17: 13-19 beseeching God to separate them in Truth as they are consumed with World Views and ideologies taught, even in our churches. What the Lord has reminded me of is that unity comes form love and to exercise the unconditional love of God comes as we live out Jesus’ exhortation in Matt 10:34-39 to lose ones life we find our life. Reminding me of 2Corinthians 4:7-18 that we always “carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.” I have said all this to say yes, God is dealing with the Church that the World will know we are His by our love for one another as they see the face of Jesus reflected from us. the only way this will show the Glory of God in His Church is as we do repent and allow His love to be seen through us. The Church will be triumphant and the Bride will be ready to meet the Bridegroom. It is a joyous journey as the Spirit of God in us accomplishes this for “not by power, nor by might, but by My Spirit says the Lord”. Can we proclaim as Habakkuk “The Sovereign LORD is my strength: He makes my feet like the feet of a deer, He enables me to go on the heights.” He is faithful and LOVE will be our fruit. Again, I’am so thankful to be a praying partner with IFA.

Hi, I would like to ask if there is a specific thing that we have done that has called for the chastisement from this mornings prayer time? It was as if the reasons for all these statements and prayers was to cleanse us from something we have done. It’s like the answer was there but the question was not asked. Good content. No problem there. But I could not hear the purpose of the content. Please tie it up for me. Thank you.

    There is not chastisement, but a call for unity. If you look at a lot of the comments outside of IFA, there is great disagreement about what happened, what will happen next, and who was right and wrong prophetically. It has gotten to the point that factions are forming based on what view they subscribe to. A nationally-known prophet humbly apologized for his prophetic word that proved to be incorrect. He received death threats and hate from other Christians who thought he should not apologize, but that he should cling to the word he gave. It is not about IFA intercessors, but as Dave mentioned, to the greater body of Christ and the prayer community. It is time for great unity in order to be effective. Dave thought it was important for us to take a step back and remember that we are “on the same team” and not to be sabotaging those other believers that we don’t happen to agree with. For a while, we at IFA have felt the Lord calling us to repentance. We thought it was a fitting time to invite others to set our selves right before the Lord–we as intercessors are needed more than ever. We need to be prepared to hear the Lord more clearly than ever. Humility and repentance is always gives us better spiritual ears! I hope that helps you understand where we were coming from. Blessings!

      Also our hearts must be pure in order to hear and be able to discern truth. Yes there are many voices and I have been seeking the Lord that I would hear His voice only. Isaiah59:1-2, may help to see we have a responsibility to keep our hearts clean that He will hear our cries. I hear what you are saying Lorie as we see ourselves only as good, but there is a sin nature in us all and I’m seeking the Holy Spirit’s help to help me see what I cannot. God Bless You

The call for repentance is being heard throughout the land; it is unmistakable that this is what the LORD is saying to America, because it is coming from so many sources! I just listened to a great sermon from John MacArthur on repentance, and there are two things that are so important in repenting: we must be genuinely sorry for our sin, and mourn our sin.

And so I am thankful that God is making known to us what He wants in the nation. Too many are teaching salvation without repentance, and the two cannot be separated. This is God’s warning to us, and for that I am grateful. I know that He still has His hand on America, and I REJOICE for that! Praise Him!
