I Prayed have prayed
Lord, help us to stay sensitive and in tune with Your holy Spirit so we can also hear clearly when you are speaking to us. Rid our hearts and mind from evil so we can have a clean heart before you, O Lord.

Pastor Said Deeb of Life Center Church in Beirut said the day of the massive explosion, a strange feeling came over him – a combination of anxiety, anger, and sadness that shook him to the core.  He said he prayed with his staff but didn’t get a breakthrough and couldn’t shake the feeling that something bad was going to happen.

“I don’t know why, I was so rude, I told everyone, ‘Go home, go home, just close the Center’,” Pastor Deeb explained. “But people said, ‘How come? We came a long way, we have commitments, we have meetings.’ I said I don’t know why but please go home and come back on Sunday and it was a Tuesday afternoon,” he said.

So Pastor Deeb sent his entire staff of 34 people home and canceled all children’s Bible classes after sensing something terrible was about to happen.

“It was as if the Holy Spirit is saying, Go! Go! Go! Go! So I was saying everybody go home, turn off the computers, forcing them to leave, I was forcing them and they said, ‘We are cooking, cooking food for the refugees and for the poor,’ and I said, ‘Today cancel everything, put it in the fridge’.” . . .

Life Center Church Beirut sits only about a mile from the explosion epicenter. He says the blast blew out windows and doors to the 4,000-square-meter facility and would have surely taken lives if anyone had been there. More than 200 people lost their lives in that explosion, thousands were injured, and tens of thousands are now without homes. But Pastor Deeb says he is seeing the Church come together more now than ever before on behalf of Beirut.

“The need all around us is huge, so people were coming from all over Lebanon to help clean the area where we are and we started sending them food and giving away drinks. And I thank God for the Body of Christ, people keep calling me from all over the world asking how they can help.  It’s the first time in my life I feel like the International Church is united together to help Lebanon and to help Beirut,” Deeb said.

There have beenn many times in my life that the Holy Spirit has sent me warnings of things to come. When the warning is intense I know it will happen to someone very close to me but it’s never disclosed what will happen happen, my friend and I could be driving down the road all of a sudden I tell him please slow down, he never drives fast to begin with, all of a sudden a car comes out of no where running a stop sign or red light. Two years ago he had pain shooting down both arms I told him go to the emergency room. When I get these warnings or feelings I get so annoyed I can’t function normally I try to figure out what going to happen and who it will happen to.My friend did go to the hospital ended up having quadruple bypass surgery the next day. Praise GOD for HIS grace,HIS mercy and all HIS benefits for sending HIS only begotten SON our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who loves us so much that in obedience HE loved me with the cross. I thank God for loving me unconditionally GOD bless you all and one day quite soon we’ll all be together in heaven praising GOD in a symphony of praise. Love in CHRIST

The morning of 911, BEFORE anything was happening, The Lord told me to fast and pray that day.
My tv was off. I was fasting and praying. My neighbor came over and told me to turn on the tv.
I could not believe the horror. I then understood why The Lord had told me to do this.

Thank you oh Lord that you speak to us. May we hear clearly what you want us to do, and not to do. I am so thrilled that Pastor Deeb heard you and obeyed. May we all hear you and obey. What a wonderful world it would be if all heard your voice and obeyed it. I praise you dear Lord. I love being in your company.

Thank you faithful Lord for leading Pastor Deeb by your Holy Spirit. That is the Normal Christian life which you ordained that we walk in daily.
I repent for trying to figure things out with my mind instead of walking minute by minute led by Holy Spirit. We ask for direction, wisdom, insight and discernment and you O Lord are always speaking to us. May we have ears to hear

I agree. It is refreshing when God’s children are worshiping the Lord in spirit and truth and we are serving each other in love. It is my earnest prayer that I am right in the center of where God wants me to be. I just want to love him with my whole heart and love others. May the walls around my heart come down and the love pour out. I ask for a tender heart and thick skin so I am not easily offended and I am full of the holy spirit. God empty me of myself in the precious name of Jesus.

I totally agree. I pray that for myself. I praise God for your tender heart.
I see all around me a work of God as He strengthens the church. I am encouraged. Yet, His admonition that there are tares growing up amongst the wheat. “Leave them alone” He says. . do not fret over them. He reminds me to focus on my Jerusalem.. Those are my marching orders. I love being his daughter.♡

I thankfully can’t forget the morning of 9-11. As a Spirit filled Christian I was experiencing a beautiful day in every sense of the word. After news I wondered and still do why didn’t I sense the need for desperate prayer. Pastor Deeb did. Thank God.

Our Precious Holy Spirit spoke so clearly to Pastor Said Deeb of Life Center Church in Beirut, Lebanon the day of The Blast that destroyed the port and was only 4 miles from his church. I loved how he was so insistent for all to Go Home Now … putting food in fridge that they were cooking. He couldn’t stop this horrific event but he could respond to Holy Spirit promptings for his staff.
Lord Jesus may ACTS OF KINDNESS reveal who believers are so that hearts that are devastated may be ministered to in the aftermath of this tragedy.
