Mamdani Pushes Controversial ‘Racial Equity’ Plan for NYC
New York City’s new mayor is advancing a sweeping racial equity agenda that is already drawing attention and criticism. The proposal is just another way that socialists like Mayor Mamdani are using governmental power to promote division over unity.

From The National Pulse:
New York City’s socialist mayor, Zohran Mamdani (D), unveiled his administration’s radical racial equity plan, directing city agencies to address and combat alleged racial disparities through initiatives such as improving pay “equity” in city roles, anti-racism training for staff, and enhancing data collection across demographics.
“While today’s True Cost of Living measure confirms that the affordability crisis touches every corner of our city, we know that these effects are not applied evenly. So often it is black and brown New Yorkers who are hit the hardest,” The Ugandan immigrant mayor said during a press conference on Monday.
Mayor Mamdani’s plan represents a significant expansion of diversity, equity, and inclusion-style policies at the city level. By embedding a “racial equity framework” into housing, employment, and governance decisions, the administration is signaling a shift toward policies that prioritize outcomes across demographic groups rather than uniform standards.
This approach will only divide New York City further, raising concerns about fairness, equal treatment under the law, and the long-term impact of identity-based policymaking. The scrutiny from federal officials suggests that legal challenges could follow as the plan moves forward.
As IFA intercessors know, true justice is rooted in truth, impartiality, and the equal value of every individual. Policies that emphasize division over unity can undermine the very principles that have historically guided our nation.
For intercessors, this is a call to pray for wisdom and discernment for leaders at every level of government. Let’s pray that policies would promote unity, fairness, and truth, and that decisions would reflect righteousness rather than division.

Lord we pray against the evil this man represents. That no plan will be successfully implemented. We pray protection and revival in NY city and state to remove unrighteousness and evil leadership with leaders that follow and seek you. We curse Islam in Jesus name and declare its defeat here and nationally.
Lord Jesus, Your Kairos timing is amazing. Just yesterday in Bible Study we taught this:
“No one in their right mind would ever choose a surgeon, or a pilot, or air traffic controller, or… simply based on race, ethnicity, or sexual orientation. Unless blinded by the sin of partiality.
DEI dictates people be treated differently due to outward appearance or social status. That is, by definition, partiality. Exactly what James just warned us about.
If you show partiality, you commit sin. James 1:9.
DEI demands partiality. DEI is a doctrine of demons demanding sin. It claims to be a vehicle to rid racism, instead it creates it, inflames it.
It does the opposite of what it claims to do, which is a telltale sign of the devil’s handiwork.
DEI does the opposite of what the Bible teaches. Which is characteristic of antichrist.
The Bible says:
Galatians 3:28
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
1 Samuel 16:7
Man sees the outward appearance, but the Lord sees the heart.
DEI is the devil’s counterfeit to the Lord’s unity and equality.
Jesus shared His heart in John 17 when He prayed repeatedly that His family would be one as He and His Father are one.
Dear Family of God, the only Way to discern a counterfeit is to intimately know, the Truth.
Jesus tells us: I AM the Way, the Truth, the Life, no one comes to the Father except by Me. John 14:6.
In these last days, to not be deceived, the Church must know the Lord and the Word of the Lord.
Hebrews 4:12
For the Word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
The Living Word reveals Truth without partiality rightly dividing and exposing the heart of the matter from fleshly desires and motives.”
Lord Jesus, we pray for Your wisdom to discern the difference between Your unity and equality verses the devil’s counterfeit DEI, the sin of partiality.
This is just silly, absolutely silly. Have you ever worked for an organization and had to hire anyone using DEI principles? DEI is designed to do just what you say the Bible advocates. In DEI, you do not hire based on race, gender, etc. That is the whole point. So no, it does do the opposite, DEI hiring makes sure that those hiring do remain as impartial as possible. Just because you say oh, DEI does the opposite of what it proposes means nothing. Just because you say this doesn’t make it true. Evidence shows that DEI hiring makes hiring more fair and equitable, not less. You present no evidence, you just make a bunch of baseless statements unsupported by any evidence. Silly.
You nailed it, Jill. Here is another way of presenting Doug’s argument. I want to lose weight and get in better shape so I went to the gym, so OBVIOUSLY, doing so will do the opposite, I will gain weight and be in worse shape. If I go to church and try to learn about Jesus and become a better person, OBVIOUSLY, I will sin more and become a worse person. If companies try to be more fair and equitable in their hiring practices, OBVIOUSLY, they will become less fair and more biased. OBVIOUSLY we always get the opposite of what we try to achieve. As Doug argued from the Bible, why are Christians against equity and fairness? This is really what evangelical Christians stand for. Clearly, Doug presented the case that the Bible is for DEI, and then he just says with no basis that it does the opposite.
Father, I join many in praying for the wisdom of our government officials. I pray you would show people the harm of socialist thinking and how blessed we are to have our freedoms. I pray we would look to you and treat people fairly, not by the color of their skin. Preserve us, Father. I praise your name.
I agree with this prayer In Jesus’ Name, Amen
“The love of money is the root of all kinds of evil.”
What Mamdani offers is a counterfeit Gospel. It fills a void left by believers who fail to live out the REAL Gospel.
Racism, greed, inequality, and corruption are just as bad, if not worse in the American church than outside it.
It therefore loses credibility to speak into the hardships faced by the needy and lost today – whether in NYC or otherwise.
By the standards of many here, whole swaths of Jesus’ teachings are “too socialist.”
