I Prayed have prayed
Father, we know that you have created us in your image--each one of us. May we live in the freedom and value that you created us with.

This video may not be popular with the mainstream media.  In fact, when you watch the video, you will see that the interviewers themselves are surprised and even uncomfortable to hear the answers they are given. These voices need to be heard!  Pray into this. We want to empower, through prayer, the spirit of freedom that this issue needs at its core. Let us look within ourselves to examine our hearts, and encourage our churches to be leading the way as salt and light in our communities.  And share this video!

I wish the media would show this video on national news because I haven’t seen it before. The news media needs to report both sides of the issue. Media can help bring peace to our nation if they want to. I’m praying they will have a change in heart and begin to report news without bias.

Thank you for a very important and much needed narrative that is counter to what many media sources are leading people to believe.

These people have either not been a part of a racist frame of reference—or they have just ignored it. As a 80-year-old caucasian from deep south Mississippi (I know…so was one of the celebrities), I witnessed racism in my own community, family, friends—even in voting, segregated schools, churches—and many other places. I think this is yet another lie being spread by the “privileged‘ who are blind because the are choosing not to see!

Father, we have a nation with opportunities for all and I ask that the lies of the enemy and the victimization of anyone in this land would be broken off and sent to a dry place and not return. Show usA the truth that the education system has failed because parents have failed to oversee it and parents have failed because the church has failed to be relevant. Arise O Church and be the salt and light and if you have lost your saltiness we cast you away as worthless and call the True Church of Jesus, Our Messiah, to rise from the ashes and bathe this nation in holiness to serve a Holy God. We repent for our lapse of conscience and allowing the enemy to take our territory. Forgive us Father and restore our land to a holy awe of our Creator.

Great comments. Goes along with President’s Roundtable with Black leaders (on Youtube: “Transition to Greatness”. All of the men there were Christian, educated and one young man educated inmates and there was another young black man, both said the commonality was “no father in the home”. 71% of troubled black male youth the wind up in prison is no father in the home. The plea was for people to get involved in their lives to be father figures. Can’t argue with all these guys.

Race is still an issue. Although it is an issue, they can’t stop anyone from moving forward. Black men are being killed like animals. Some of the whites try to stop us from moving forward. While can’t people in general just treat each other with respect and stop trying to stop other from moving forward. It is a heart issue and that must be dealt with by each person and we must realize that it can’t be legislated into law. If one says you can’t so some or set it as a law that’s when people will do it all the more. As stated all people have to take a look at their on lives and judge their own heart and let the Lord deals with them.

    No one can keep Gods law so He provided a Savior at great price. I am so glad that He paid that all might be set free from the law of sin and death. Forgiveness, unity, love, long suffering and righteousness are only obtained through transformation by a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. All other efforts fail.
    Let us all align with God

      You are correct. Our deliverance is through our Lord Jesus Christ. That’s why I said, a heart change must take place instead of trying to legislate a law that will never changed. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. It is only in Him that we have our being. We as the body of Christ are commanded to love one another and it’s not based on skin color.

        Amen Sheila. I agree with everything you wrote. We must love and pray for the unlovely, those that hate us and despitefully use us that the unconditional love of our Lord will reach them. God is greater than political division, racial division, family disputes, covid, etc. May He bless you abundantly

    Who is killing black men like animals? What whites are trying to keep “us” from moving forward? I believe Jesus died for all races not just the two that are being discussed in our media.
    All I can pray is God help us we are broken.

      June 13, 2020

      So, I see you don’t listen to the news. Yes, so whites policemen have been killing blacks like animals. Yes, the Lord did died for all mankind, however, men of color have been killed just because of their color. As the body of Christ we are called to love one another regardless of race and by His grace this is what I intend to do.

Satan is alive and well on planet earth. He knows his time is short and he is very busy doing everything he can to destroy everything, especially mankind, who is made in the image of Almighty God. We must be about our Father’s business, just like Jesus was. The fields are white unto harvest….we must bring people to Jesus so they can know Him and be born again from above. There’s a song from the mid 60s that comes to mind that we, as believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, must truly embrace. Not just sing but allow it to be who we are. (We all know the image unbelievers have of Christians these days but it doesn’t have to stay this way, OK?)

It’s called “And they’ll know we are Christians by our love”
Lyrics:
We are one in the Spirit, we are one in the Lord;
We are one in the Spirit, we are one in the Lord;
And we pray that all unity will one day be restore.
Chorus:
And they’ll know we are Christians by our love, by our love,
yes, they’ll know we are Christians by our love.
Lyrics:
We will walk with each other, we will walk hand in hand;
We will walk with each other, we will walk hand in hand;
And together we’ll spread the news that God is in our land.
Chorus:
And they’ll know we are Christians by our love, by our love;
yes, they’ll know we are Christians by our love.
Lyrics:
We will work with each other, we will work side by side;
We will work with each other, we will work side by side;
And we’ll guard each man’s dignity and save each man’s pride.
Chorus:
And they’ll know we are Christians by our love, by our love;
yes, they’ll know we are Christians by our love.
Lyrics:
All praise to the Father, from whom all things come;
All praise to Christ Jesus, His only Son.
And all praise to the Spirit who makes us one.
Chorus:
And they’ll know we are Christians by our love, by our love;
yes, they’ll know we are Christians by our love.

(Many other verses were made up along the way) Maybe the simplicity of this little song will cause us to want to “get our act together” search ourselves, repent and turn from our wicked ways and be about fulfilling the Great Commission according to Matthew 28:16-20.

Father, thank you that black men are speaking out. We pray that any racism be rooted out, confessed and forgiven, but we pray for peace and order. The disorder has harmed the black community so much. I pray for them for healing and drawing their hearts to you.

Why would this group play such a video with so many clips out of context like this? Racism is still a huge problem plaguing the hearts of people. Forgive us oh God for harboring the sins of racism against people. Deliver us from this evil. God have mercy on those who are using this video to continue to manipulate the masses if,they are willing to repent. Father God, you are a good God. God you are love and we are made in your image and likeness. God open the eyes of our hearts so we can see you in ALL of creation. God you are greater than any problem or any circumstance! Let the seeds of racism be cursed to the root and consumed by your consuming fire in Jesus name. Greater is He who is within us than he who’s in the world. God for us is more than the world against us. Let the enemy of our God and His people be defeated now in Jesus name! Let the Voice of the Most High arise and speak with clarity from your people and followed in obedience. Let every strange voice that has been spoken fall to the ground and be of no effect and now silent in Jesus name. Father let your kingdom come and will be done on earth as it is in heaven for your glory! Amen!

Have read many of the comments and excellent points are made. Let us pray though for those caught up in this “movement.” Some involved are opportunists looking for excuses to loot and commit crime, some are brainwashed and unable to see what is really going on and some are at the bottom financing and fueling the fire. Let us raise all of them before the throne of grace and pray that God will invade their hearts and beings bringing repentance and salvation as we search our own hearts letting the Holy Spirit illuminate places in us that need change, in Jesus name, amen.

It is the movement of the antichrist to bring chaos and hate.
I pray for all people to have eyes that see and softened hearts. For we do not wage against flesh and blood but against evil, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against a spiritual wickedness in high places.
Amen

Good video. Most of todays problems and breakdowns I see as it coming from 60’s era. America is reaping what she has sown.

Denzel Washington hit the nail on the head when he placed it firmly on the family, or lack of, whether black, white, pink or green.

Lord God have mercy on this nation and bring us to our knees and bring about a repentant spirit. Ammen

The devisiveness is perpetuated by those such as Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, Sheila Jackson and more as it is in their interest, in their minds, to do so. The final answer to coming together is behavior. We can not survive if we go in different directions concerning culture and tradition. Finally, we are a Judeo/Christian Country and God watches over us all of us. We came here by his direction and that includes immigrants, whether they came by their own volition of brought here as an indentured servant or slave. We are stronger together than we are fighting each other. If you came here as stated above, then you become an American and do not try to introduce any other culture or tradition.

Wonderful insights!

A common denominator, “All men have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”. Good place to start.

Sermon on the mount happens in our hearts when Jesus takes His rightful place in our lives, His Light placed high on the lampstand of our heart, where there is no shifting shadow.

Book of Romans is the most important Book in the NT. Chapter 12 pivotal and the crescebdo of a Chrstian’s life and its breath!

Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith.
Romans 12:1‭-‬3

Forget about political parties, party platform, compromise will leave only an empty shell. You can not legislate conviction. God created the human spirit and only He can fill it. We must let Him rule in us first, one by one.

Night is coming where no man can work….but we are children of the day/light. How then shall we live?

This is all true, but there is a bigger issue. In this hour, this is the conversation for black people. These are the “issues” that black people need to discuss in their homes and churches.

Now, the bigger issue is there is a conversation that needs to take place in white homes. The secret sins of the heart must be dealt with. We have to look at our lives honestly. Do I have real relationships with people that don’t look like me? Were my views on black people formed through relationship or by the media? Does my church connect with black people for more than charity purposes? Have I asked the Lord to give me His eyes and His thoughts on everything that is happening in this country? Have I asked the Lord to forgive me for anything I may have done against my brother and sister? Has your pastor called the pastor from the black church across town and asked to pray together? Has there been any attempt to build relationships with black churches? Have you connected with a black member of your church to see how they are feeling and to show love?

It is time for everyone to stop finger pointing and look in the mirror. It is time to stop talking about the splinter in someone else’s eye and look at the beam in your own.

In this hour, the body of Christ needs to rise up. Yet I see little to nothing from the American church. No repentance, no compassion, no love, no discernment. Just finger pointing, religious talk, and twisting the Word of God to fit personal beliefs and agendas.

About twenty years ago, the Assemblies of God and Church of God in Christ denominations had a meeting. A powerful thing happened at that gathering. One of the head of the Assemblies of God got up and repented and asked for forgiveness for the denomination. In the early history of the denominations, they were one, united, headed by a black man named Mason. Yet eventually they split apart and the Assemblies of God was created. The true reason they split was whites didn’t want to be led by or worship with blacks.

Almost 100 years later, the head of that denomination called out their sin, repented, asked for forgiveness and asked if he could wash the feet of one of the men from the Church of God in Christ. Then one of the black leaders asked to wash the feet of another white leader. It was a powerful meeting. It was a powerful move of God. Why? A true man of God discovered that for his people to move forward, he had to humble himself and repent for what had been done before he was born.

The world will know us by our love. We will know each other by our love.

It saddens me to see that IFA is also making this a political campaign and completely ignoring the fact that African Americans have been oppressed by designed. Just because a few African stars have not experienced racism, that does not represent the majority of blacks. It’s worse in some places than others, and doesn’t apply for all blacks.
The same goes for the cops, there are bad & racist cops, doesn’t mean they all are. Lord, give them compassion and open their eyes to see that their is such a thing as white privilege and blacks are still looked at as inferior and discriminated against as a whole/race. Remove their pride because of lack of knowledge and/or experience. Help them to not make this political and miss the opportunity to love others and share the gospel as you commanded. Lord Jesus I pray for John Doe and ask for your Holy Spirit to speak peace into his heart. Help him to know there is freedom in Jesus no matter what nationality or race or color he is! Give us all a humble heart and not a heart of entitlement or pride. We all need to have a servants heart and live with JOY – +J+esus first, +O+thers second and +Y+ourself last. There are many groups (greeks, jews, christians, …) that suffer around the world and we shouldn’t think one deserves more attention than another. Help us all to treat everyone with love and respect. I thank you that America is not where it used to be with oppression on African Americans and improvements have happened over the years especially through the life of Dr Martin King. I pray improvements will continue for the African Americans and many other groups that have oppression today with fear for their lives. I pray for the hurts African American’s feel will be healed and that they won’t blame today’s generations for the sins of yesterday’s generations. Help them to truly forgive. Help them to stop living as the victims of their ancestor’s past and live into today with the opportunities they do have. Bless our nation going forward in love and forgiveness. In Jesus name, Amen.

    Thanks for your comment John. We appreciate all voices here. Keep in mind that these people featured on the video did not grow up as stars. Many of them experienced challenging family situations, where the choices of their parents, the influence of a mentor, or their own decisions and the grace of God helped them. Please understand that We are not finger-pointing, nor are we making it a political campaign. There are many, many voices speaking out–we felt that this stream was one that nobody was sharing. We always advocate for searching our own hearts–you see that often on the pages of IFA–for many issues and situations. We also advocate that local churches be salt and light in their communities. As our intro stated, may we see people experience true freedom through Christ on this issue. Thanks for sharing your heart!

      IFA – you may say you’re just sharing ‘sides’ of the issue but it seems like you’re trying to push the idea that there is no such thing as racism. That they are all making it up or deluded. But many black men and women have actually experienced being treated as a criminals by police, even when they haven’t done anything wrong. They aren’t making it up. They actually experienced it. And they are asking for it to stop. They are asking that they be treated with respect. How is ‘widely sharing’ a video by a few black men who maybe haven’t had those experiences going to help solve the issue?? I feel like you are truly missing the point.
      Praying against the spirit of destruction is appropriate. But claiming there is no such thing as racism is being blind.

    As much as I know that I cannot, Biblically, ever vote for a democrat, I have to say that our current president often makes it very difficult to want to vote for him either. He is NOT perfect and he continually makes poor choices, particularly with his words. I have rolled my eyes so far back in my head that it hurts when I see Christians and Christian leaders act like he is this perfect answer and can do no wrong.

    I agree that we need to set politics aside and focus clearly on praying towards what God desires and not be so aligned with politics.

    Racism is still an issue. We need to pray for truth and righteousness and equity for all people.
